Chicken pozole with all the toppings
    Andi D.

The chicken pozole is one of the reasons I go to the Little Italy Farmers Market. The owner is always friendly and never makes us feel rushed even if there's a long line behind us. I've had the pork pozole before and that is very good but the chicken one has my heart. The broth is so flavorful and it's full of fillings. There's a variety of fresh toppings you can choose from and when you purchase the take home soup, he provides all the toppings in separate containers. I like to top off my pozole with the green salsa. He recently started offering burritos in which he scoops generous portions of the protein (I believe there's a vegan option) of your choice from the soups and adds in whichever toppings you'd like before rolling it all up in a fresh tortilla. I was surprised by how tasty that was! We gobbled it up before I could get a picture He also mentioned that his pozole is sold frozen in some local stores as well. I will be coming back again and again and again and you should give it a try too!

Nicely packed to safely bring home without leaks!

Super happy that My Pozole has started coming to Normal Heights (corner of Adams Ave and Wilson) in the evenings. I got a green pork pozole to go and it was delicious. Perfect amount to bring home and reheat. Super quick service and nicely packaged to carry home. 10/10 recommend. I'll definitely e coming back for more.

Tasty Pozole at the Little Italy Mercato Farmers Market. They have pork, chicken, and jackfruit pozole. For $10.00, I got a 16oz pork Pozole with all the toppings. It was nice and tasty, even on a warm day. It definitely hit the spot.

This is one of my fiancee's and my favorite food trucks. We like to get a double pozole and a poznachos to share, and it's filling. The toppings and ingredients are all fresh and tasty. The soup is especially great to have on chilly days. In terms of the menu, it's simple and you can't go wrong with any item. And the prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. The service is very friendly, and helpful if you have any questions.

I'm not one to know what a great pozole tastes like, but a lot of my coworkers have recommended their Pozole to me and look forward to it when they come to our work campus at least once a month. Finally tried their Red chicken pozole for $11. Was a delicious and filling lunch. Came out hot and fresh no more than 10 minutes. Service was friendly :)

If you get lucky enough to run into this truck, I definitely recommend trying. Pozole is my favorite and they really make a great bowl. Lots of toppings to choose from, reasonably priced, the service is always quick and consistent.

Dude, I was standing next to 6 food trucks, and i have a soft spot for pozole but you know, how good can a food truck pozole be right? For what it's worth, I haven't had a solid pozole in a very long time... And let's just say, I'm so glad I took the risk, easily one of the best pozole I have had, I am struggling to remember a better one. I'm so sad this truck isn't Parked outside my house.

I have to start off by saying I am usually not a big fan of pozole but decided to take a chance because why not? The menu makes for a very customizable soup including toppings or if you want a pork/chicken/vegan option. This is one of my favorite pozoles I have ever tried! I went with the 16 oz green pozole with pork with all the toppings and it's very tasty! The broth is well seasoned, clean taste and the toppings added the crunchy, limy, herby-ness that you crave. Very good first impression - will come back to try more. Friendly service too!

I was able to try the Pork Posnachos from My Pozole at the Ocean Beach Farmers Market for $10 and it was so worth it. The portion size is very reasonable for the price, and there was enough of everything. It didn't feel like it lacked anything. It wasn't super spicy but spice levels are a matter of personal preference. Additionally, the presentation of the food was very nicely done.

The poznachos with chicken and all toppings was surprisingly delightful. Very filling, good value. Splurge on the double avocado.

Super dark and I mean dark, it'll take a minute for your eyes to adjust. Tapas style menu, we were a party of 4 and ordered: Squash blossom Relleno - it's the flower part of a squash plant and stuffed with mushroom duxelles which resembles a meat mixture with squash succotash. Outside is a corn tempura with a tomato base sauce. Pulpo-grilled octopus, one of the best texture and perfectly grilled skin with a chewy yet soft interior. The sauce has a slight kick and crunch from the corn nuts. Crab corn doughnut- this is their specialty and we were about to skip out but glad we didn't. The brioche bun had a donut batter with lumps of crab salad and corn mixture on top. El Festin- perfect for our party of 4 because it was a platter full of 4 Cheese quesadilla, 4 shrimp, 4 chicken slices, 1 jalapeño bacon wrap, ribeye. Flan-we should have each ordered one ourselves! Great flavors and texture, the top had ancient chocolate soil and had crispy corn nuts. Different but yummy. Overall, delicious food that came out so quick, great ambiance, we celebrated our birthdays and were each gifted candles with our names on the label. Truly amazing from beginning to end. Street parking only. The spots on the same block are metered but if you drive down to the second street towards residential, it's free.

Did as suggested, used an Uber to get there, didn't see any parking within close proximity as it is connected to the Lafayette Hotel and Club. Beautiful entry way, eyes definitely need to adjust to the darkness, lit candles everywhere; very church-like. The stained glass is beautiful. Tableware, tables, chairs somewhat Gothic. It did smell like candlewax, a bit overwhelming. Being able to see the open kitchen, was hoping to smell amazing dishes being prepared instead. I went by the reviews I read earlier, so we chose the Pulpo, perfect to share. Charred perfectly, tender on the inside on a spread of molè and bits of corn nuts, fabulous! Great presentation! Also tried the lentil spread, filling and plenty to share once again, tangy and spicy; our favorite appetizer. For a dish we shared the Chamoy bbq ribs, fell right off the bone; a tad salty. Corn ribs were tasty, wish they were fresh, a tad mushy and too salty. The pineapple Pico was just okay. We also ordered a passion fruit margarita and a Motomami, both were wonderful! Service was great, we were checked on often but then again it was a Thursday early evening and not busy yet. I would like to visit again and try other suggested dishes, when in town.

We opted to get the paella for 2 which takes a little extra time to prepare but was well worth the wait. It was so flavorful with all the seafood being a nice touch of salt. It was a little spicy but the cream sauce balanced it well. The rice was fluffy but crispy on the bottom. It could've fed 4 people probably. Our server, Abdo made our dining experience even better with his friendliness and attention to the fact that we were celebrating something. California Burritos is very apt for their name, my bf rates it a 10/10. As a California Burrito connoisseur, he liked the addition of sour cream in it and said the flavors were delicious. He topped it with their green salsa for a little bit of a freshness to cut through the richness and fattiness of the meat and fries in the burrito. He didn't care for the fish taco that much and rated it a 4/10 but said the restaurant overall was a 10/10, as he thought there was too much lettuce and tomato throwing off the ratio of the taco.
