Everything they say in their website is true. I trained with a guy named Iilyas. He was super cool and chill and didn't freak out when I messed up. In the first session I was working all the way through third gear and coming to a good stops. In the second session my slow speed maneuverability improved. It's actually easier to go fast than slow. I took the third session for fun because I didn't have a bike yet and I just wanted to ride for two hours. If I could afford it I would come again just to keep training and learning. 1 on 1 was a lot less intimidating as well. And when I came I had only ever been on a bike once in a parking lot with my brother and never left third gear or understand what a clutch or break was. Just one session and I felt comfortable on a bike. Also, they had headphones in the helmet talking me through every step. It was great.

Carlos was my hero for connecting with me by phone before the actual rental time. He explained where to meet with him, in detail. This was important because the Huntington Gardens had construction going on at their front entry gate, so Carlos guided me to an alternate entrance and THEN TO THE DROPOFF SITE on the Huntington property. Quite a gambit. Anyway, Carlos has the best personality. He is gracious and warm. He was prompt in meeting for the drop-off AND for returning to meet for the scooter pick-up. I called him to PLEASE pick up the scooters about 1 hour early, as we were both tired from our adventure. Carlos got to us early and with a smile. The two scooters we rented were excellent for "zipping" around the large property. The property is 207 acres, so trying to do that tour on foot was impossible for us two seniors. Really nice equipment that held it's charge. It was easy to handle indoors (in the galleries) and outdoors (commuting to and through the many gardens.)

I searched Yelp as I often do and found LB Scooters. I went to their website and saw they had a nice selection of classic vintage mopeds for a very reasonable price ($49 for 24hours) I instantly got excited cause I knew I had found exactly what I was looking for. I called and spoke to Shaun to get more information. Shaun was very friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to help me choose the perfect bikes for each of us. The next day we arrived at the pickup and Shaun was very helpful in giving a brief rundown on safely operating the mopeds and my wife was up and riding with the biggest smile in only a few short minutes! We took off heading towards the beach and got so many thumbs ups and cheers from people as we passed, the mopeds were real eye catchers and head turners! Long Beach has so much to explore and made for a great full day of cruising and adventure. Anytime we had a question, Shaun was very responsive and helpful. The whole day was so much fun and we were just glowing by the end. The pickup and drop off process was easy, painless, and flexible! 10/10 would definitely do again! Even brought it up back to the shop to where they dismissed it was a license plate issue causing intense rumbling. Very odd, but initially still felt trust. Anyways, rode it out into the valley when suddenly the engine would just fail to start. Contacted the rental owner and they promised they would make it right. At this point, the ride and bike was extremely unsafe and dangerous. Had to ride it back in these shakey conditions and didn't even bother turning off the engine due to the fear that the engine wouldn't start again. It was so random and unpredictable if the engine would even turn on when I was out in the valley, basically stranded. I returned the keys the next morning after managing to ride it back at the shop the same night. Max, who reviewed the bike intially was very helpful and receptive to the conditions of the bike, admitting that this has happened in the past and the Ducatti had a mind of its own. He promised a full refund within a few days. Now here is the part where it was so sketchy and shadey. He was really aggressive on wanting me to close the rental on my side as well as his. it's my first time using Ride Share, so i was unfamiliar with the app and how to get the refund. Over a week passes, and i follow up since there is still no refund. I try to call the shop but they keep ignoring and missing my calls, saying that Max is not there and etc. When I finally get a hold of him, he is extremely aggressive and rude. There is a complete 180 change in his response and demeanor towards me, accusing me of lying and saying that the bike is fine. AVOID THIS PLACE. They are extremely sketchy and scam artists. Look at the other reviews here in the past. They are misogynists and refused to cooperate. I had to file a dispute since there was never any action from Ride Share or the place. I 100% believe my life was on the line, yet they were completely fine renting the keys to me upon check in day 1. I definitely believe the owner was telling his coworker on the same day I returned the keys in a different language warning his employee of my situation before he came in. This place is a joke. Little do they know, I have video evidence of the bike failing to start and multiple eye witnesses. This place doesn't care about your safety and is all about the money

Stores do a poor job of making sure their battery cells are still good. I just got back from Disney World. My wife rented me a Victory 10 3 wheel scooter from GMS. The battery meter has 2 red lines, 3 orange lines, and 5 green lines. During the seven days we were there, I never used more than two green lines. Six nights I only used 1 green line. I am extremely impressed with the Victory 10 3-wheel mobility scooter I got from GMS. Other places may not do as good of maintenance to make sure their battery cells hold capacity. I'm confident GMS tests those regularly. The drop off and pick up service was easy, the person was very nice. I cannot speak on price because my wife is the one that rented the scooter. But you can be confident that the battery will hold if you get it from GMS. We will use them again.
