Fresh bread, quality cold cuts, and sizzling bacon. Very nice folks who take their time to chat with you while they hustle to get your order together. I recommend their breakfast sandwiches highly. So far, every sub has been perfect. Their cold cuts are premium and packed up nicely in folded paper and zip-locked tight. In Brick, we have many choices but I'm happy to go a little out of my way for the extra quality. They also have a small sitting area and they're happy to bring your order over to you quickly. The coffee bar is limited, but it's fresh and the milks and creams are ice cold and well presented. I always grab some tropical fruit as well, just to try some new flavors from their produce stands. Finally, a deli with great sandwiches that's local. Hubby ordered a turkey supreme a while back and I thought I posted a review, I didn't, So I will now! Tonight hubby ordered a Ruben sub; outstanding. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap on a spinach wrap, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and spicy mustard; awesome. And the turkey club was great too. Pretty sure this is a family owned buisness. I walked in and they were pretty much closed and still offered to make my sandwich. She even stopped vacuuming while I was in the which I thought was very nice. Really customer oriented people and really good food as well! I always come here when I go to the salon next door. I have been to a lot of different Deli's in the area and for subs/sandwiches, etc., I have not found a better sandwich, especially for the price, than at Jovo's. The staff is very friendly ( if you go in often enough, they'll greet you by name) and the service is very good. If you stay for lunch, they bring your food to your table. Added bonus, their cold cut prices are REALLY competitive with the local supermarkets. I shop at the Fort Dix Commissary and their prices are even lower than there. And as for breakfast sandwiches, try the "Hangover"; you won't be hungry before lunchtime !! read more

Finally! A deli that has REAL SUBS!!!!,which is very hard to find these days when all that's around is chain delis. Jovo's is GREAT, and their subs are unreal! They also had a nice size salad menu...which looks awesome. I'll have to try one next time! But, I just can't stay away from their subs! They're all so good, loaded with fresh cold cuts, and huge! I live in the neighborhood behind Jovo's, and I've been there a few times. Unless you are a known regular customer, first-come, first-served is not in their vocabulary. I've had to wait over 30 minutes one time for four sandwiches (2 subs, 2 BLTs and the bacon was already cooked). The last time I went in there, the counter lady watched me walk in and proceeded to chit chat with another waiting customer until the CUSTOMER acknowledged that i should be taken care of. Another customer walked in and waited while the counter lady continued to chat with the same people without acknowledging him until her conversation was over. There are too many other quality delis (Princeton Deli, for example) in the area for me to even consider going here again. The food is okay, but nowhere near the rave reviews I see here. They must all be known regulars. I won't be back. read more
