Great little poke bowl. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. It's set up like a "Subway Sandwich Shop" for poke bowls. You move along the counter and tell the server what you want for the base of your bowl (lettuce, noodles, seaweed, etc. ), then you pick your proteins, and your toppings, and finally the dressing. The spicy tuna and shrimp were good. They were fresh and had good flavor. The toppings were all fresh, including the avocado. It was a great bowl to eat in one sitting. Nothing left over. Perfect sized lunch. It was staffed by two teenagers. I explained that I had never been there before. They were typical teenagers, mopey and impatient, but competent. It's a basic little deli type storefront with a handful of tables. It was clean and bright. I would definitely stop here again when in Enfield. read more

We were really hungry and decided to try out this place after shopping. It's conveniently located in a shopping plaza and it looks fresh and inviting. I got a build your own poke bowl with salmon and ahi tuna. The girl that made it for me added plenty of each topping I asked for and was really friendly. It was a great value for the money. I really really wanted to like this place.... I'm a huge Sushi and poke Bowl fan. When I walked into the place it was completely empty and there was a boy on his phone He felt irritated because he had to get up to make my bowl he asked me and I answered three times that I wanted white rice.. he didn't even ask me if I wanted to go or eat in. I did want to eat in. Once I started to eat the bowl the fish had a weird taste to it like it was just too fishy if you know what I mean I ended up not eating more half of it. Also the trash can is right in front of where the employee was sitting and another employee was there and neither of them even said goodbye to me thank you for the business or is everything okay because literally I threw out half a poke Bowl. I had a couple other errands to do in the area and I started not feeling good I ended up puking because I started getting sweaty and just very nauseous it definitely made me sick there was something wrong with the fish I most likely will never come back to this place. read more

What a beautiful little gift of a gem this place is! And their first week opening?! Lots of restaurants flounder at first... these guys soared. Inside it is SPOTLESS, the staff was extremely nice, and the food... holy god the food. So many options to choose from, all equally as fresh and flavorful as the next. You cannot beat the price for the amount of add-in options they've got. Something for everyone! Enfield is full of pizza, Chinese, and tons of bland American chains when it comes to food. Such an awesome Poke bowl location! I was really impressed by the quality and quantity of the bowl. Obviously it is totally up to you how you fill it but if you know what you what you want and if you are ok with understanding that $12-$15 after tax is what you would normally expect to pay, totally worth it. They have all of the options that you could hope for, I always get raw fish and I could tell that it was fresh. I usually get half salad and half rice just to be sure that I get my fill. I probably could have done just all salad because of how much stuff I was able to add. They note that you can get up to ten add-ins, keep in mind that if you want and if it works out as it did for me that you can just get multiple of the same add-in. I did so for at least one of the ingredients. The friend I was with didn't seem to think that the other person serving him was as generous though. So this may be an individualistic experience. I'm sure we both still got more than enough for a dinner. For proteins I can certainly recommend the Tuna, Salmon, and the Spicy Crab mix (not really that spicy for me anyways). read more

Up to this point in my life, I have never had a Poke bowl. This previous weekend, decided to rectify that issue by trying this random poke bowl place in the middle of a shopping plaza. So how is it? It's pretty good! It's effectively a deconstructed sushi roll. Rice is on the bottom, toppings are layered on top, and there's a smattering of options to customize your bowl. I opted for the Ahi Tuna with some omellette bits, tempura crunch, some soy and some mango chunks for some sweet. At this specific location, the dish came out quickly and had a nice little presentation. The fish was fresh, the sauce was not overpowering, the egg bits were fluffy and complimented the rice. The mango was a little too much sweet for the bowl, but that was my fault for adding it. I also opted for some crab rangoons because I am a sucker for crab rangoons. The rangoons, not what I was anticipating. They came out in little paper football triangles and were kind of tiny. However they were stuffed to the corners in crab, like a triangle of crab covered in a spring roll wrapper. So essentially you don't get the ton of extra fried wonton you normally get with your average crab rangoon but all the crab. As my first experience with Poke bowls, pretty good! Not a destination stop but if you're in the area and want a lazy sushi roll, then this will scratch that itch. read more

Joy bowl is an absolute must if your around, they have a variety of bowls and other great things on the menu. As of recently they have added boba tea and it's great to pair with your bowl/meal. Staff is great and will recommend ideas if you ask. The owner is very nice and will make sure you leave 100% satisfied. OMG! This has been MONTH's of anticipation! We discovered Joy Bowl in Springfield earlier this year and as transplants from CA, were thrilled to find a poke place!! How even more excited were we when we were driving past Stop & Shop in Enfield and we saw signs for Joy Bowl in ENFIELD! As much as we love the Springfield location, making the 30-40 minute each way drive was tough! Now we can go to Joy Bowl in Enfield MONTHLY! SO EXCITED for today's grand opening! Okay - location aside, the food here is just amazing! Fresh and healthy - the seafood is top quality and tastes amazing. I personally am a fan of the build your own bowl - and they are so wonderful with the variety of toppings and the portion size - all are TOP NOTCH! My favorite sauce is the Wasabi Yuzu (like a spicy ponzu sauce) but that is only 1 of MANY different sauces as well. You can build the base of your bowl with white or brown rice or lettuce (or a mix of both!). The toppings are numerous - my favorites being edamame, red onions, corn, cucumbers, seaweed salad, tomatoes, tobiko, avocado - and that's not even all of them! They have a variety of raw and cooked fish - so there is something for EVERYONE! You can pick from a variety of bowls or create your own by choosing a bowl with a rice or a salad base, picking a protein or two or three, then picking from a plethora of mixins and you have the choice of topping it off with a few different crunchy options such as sesame seeds or tempura flakes and lastly, there are a slew of dressings to choose from. I got a salad bowl with chicken (if you're not into raw fish the chicken is a great option), mango, pineapple, carrots shreds, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, avocado, tempura flakes and balsamic dressing. I've been watching for this place to open and can't believe I just found out this week. I stopped by with my fiance with the intention of testing out whether this could be another go-to take out spot. My vote was definitely yes! It seemed a bit weird that their specials didn't include what other places typically lists as hawaiian poke(ahi tuna, rice base, yuzu sauce) so we both chose customizable options with 2 proteins. I had ahi tuna and salmon for proteins and there was a good number of topping you can pick. I picked too many to list out here. It was delicious! My fiance had spicy tuna and spicy salmon for proteins and found that it was just too much mayo even after mixing in a bowl full of other things. Needless to say, he did not enjoy his bowl. However, he did try mine, which he also liked. Next time we crave poke or sushi, this will be at the top of our list. read more

The only nice thing I can say is the bowl was cold and packaged clean. The protein servings are ridiculously small, the fish was low quality and they over drenched soaked it in mayo sauce.
