Although the online booking showed $60 for a 60-minute Full Body Oil Massage, I was told the price was $65 when I arrived. 3. The massage was okay, but it focused mostly on my back. My calves were barely touched, and my feet were not massaged at all, despite it being advertised as a full body massage. 4. After the first 60 minutes, the therapist recommended adding a foot massage and said the total combo price would be $100. 5. I asked if they accepted credit cards and she said yes. After the additional 30 minutes (90 minutes total), I went to the front desk. 6. The man at reception told me the total was $100 and asked for a tip. I had already tipped the therapist in cash. 7. He entered $100 on the credit card machine and showed me the amount. I confirmed it and completed the payment. 8. While the receipt was printing, he left. 9. The therapist then handed me the receipt to sign. 10. The charge was $103.50, not the $100 that I had agreed to and confirmed. 11. When I asked why the amount was different, she simply said, "I don't know." 12. English is not my first language either, but if you run a business, you should be able to explain basic charges, credit card fees, or pricing differences. We were walking the mall after having sushi and came across this store. Went with my cousin for a 30 mins massage. I chose a chair massage and he got the hot oil. Hot Oil: basic massage not bad, the hot stones were really hot, the room seemed kinda old or dingy. Chair massage: I'm only 5'7" and the chair was too short. They kept trying to tell me to sit properly but I couldn't because my face went passed the pad. For about 5 mins I tried to tell them to raise it higher because trying to do it their way and scrunch up hurt my back. Only the cashier knew English but not fluently and he was the one trying to adjust the chair. He lifted it a bit and I just gave up and sat in it. Because mine was at the entrance to the place it was very noisy with people walking by. The guy doing the massage had strong pressure which I didn't mind but he must've been new because then the cashier guy told him something in Vietnamese and took over for him. This guy went harder, and because he was thinner he had skinny boney fingers which hurt when he dug into my knots. It's obvious he knows that he's doing but it was a bit painful. They also put a kitchen timer right by me so with that, the people in the mall walking by and he chatting off and on with others, it was not at all relaxing. Both me and my cousin also noticed that the face pillow wasn't lined up properly so he had to keep adjusting it to breathe and mine dug into my face so when I finally opened my eyes they had a really hard time adjusting. There massage people do not know how to communicate or ask you where to focus on when giving you a deep tissue massage. She was trying to translate to me thru her phone. I ignored the other reviews regarding the use of elbows for most of the time and unfortunately it was true. I was asked what I want to concentrate on which was my left shoulder and the guy spent the same time as the rest of my back. This was a chair massage so I figure it would be a targeted area. Had a great chair massage today. Would definitely visit again. I've only visited the chair massage area which is just inside the entrance. This portion of the massage areas is not super private, but that actually made me much more comfortable as a first timer. There was enough privacy and courtesy that I felt catered to and respected, with enough visibility and openness that I could've still looked out into the mall if I had picked up my head. Mind you -- the massage was so great I didn't pick up my head aside from commenting to the masseuse on an adjustment that I would prefer. The staff was kind and courteous. Note that they will definitely try to upsell you, as it's understandably a business, so don't be afraid to say what you want and no to what you don't. Definitely worth the money. read more

Me and my husband went to get a full tissue massage , we each got a female to do it. The massage we got was a 60 min and free hot stone rocks. It did not feel relaxing they both were using their elbows to deep and it hurt , I request can you do it softer and she did for a min but went back to doing it with alot of more pressure. At the end it was the hot stones , they were so hot they burned our backs, not waited a couple mins for them to cool off a bit. This was our third time for me going and my husbands first. I've always have a male and he did a fantastic job! Anyways when it got to payment it was $120 for both. The female was insisting tip which we were goin to give but the way she asked, was not it, we left $10 each and she still rolled her eyes. I've been here twice. Once for a massage where they take you to the back with all the beds. That massage was great except I was a little concerned that the guy slipped my bra completely off while other employees passed by. Made me feel a little uncomfortable being out in the open with others laying next to me. The other time was just a regular back/shoulder massage in the chair. A lady did it this time. Boy oh boy!! That was torture. She did not use her hands to massage at all, she used her pointy elbows the entire time. It hurt so much that I was eagerly waiting for it to be over. I've been visiting this gem for many years now and it's such a nice place to wind down for a massage after a long day. I typically take my family and close friends here; I sometimes even recommend it to my close health care practitioners and professors! I usually have a lot of tension in my muscles from a demanding work schedule. However, an hour or so of deep tissue massage truly improved it and I feel so energized afterwards. If you are fairly new to deep tissue massages or haven't been to one for quite some time, I recommend telling your massage therapist beforehand to go easy at first. I love this place! After reading everyone's reviews, I am quite surprised. I have never been forced to give them a tip- but I tip every time! And yes, they offer you to stay longer if you are tight in the muscles, but you can say NO! Of course you'll have to pay more, they are offering a service. What a wonderful concept!! A quick massage and reflexology session at the mall and in the middle of my vacation and shopping day. For $15 I opted for a 15 minute neck & shoulder massage to alleviate a kink in my neck. I was immediately assisted into a neck chair (face down) and received a deep tissue massage that delivered relief to back and shoulder tension. I liked that I was treated respectfully, without chatter, and clinically. The shoulder massage chairs are near the doors facing the mall. Five years ago, while going through a very stressful time I started having terrible pain in my back and neck. I knew it was due to streets and didn't want medication so my husband drove me to the Buena Park Mall so I could get some relief. I had hesitated getting a chair massage with them, because it was in the center of the mall and normally I would pick a more private situation. I'm not kidding about the pain I was in! The more stressed I became the closer my left shoulder got to my left ear. I was starting to look like Quasimodo and couldn't take much more. At that point I didn't care about the public situation I just wanted relief so when I got to the mall and found their space in the middle of the mall empty, I nearly cried.
