They give great massages and the prices are reasonable, but the only thing that I wish they would do is stop talking to each other when clients are getting a massage. I know it's probably just me, but instead of focusing on my massage, my mind starts focusing on their conversations even though I don't understand what they are saying. My Fiance and I used their services when there were located in the middle of the mall. They have now moved into a suite of their own. We received an hour massage for $25, so $50 total for the massages. I had Charlie do my massage. This man applies alot of pressure, so you have to ask for softer if that is your thing. For me, he literally turned granite into a gummy bear. The massage first starts off with your feet soaking in a round little tub to get your feet all clean and soft. The water is lukewarm, so no worries of burning your feet. They give you a shoulder, neck and head massage while sitting up. Then you move to the table, they place a towel over your eyes and a towl over your entire body, then they massage your feet. I have a rare genetic disorder on my feet (Ledderhose Disease) where tumors grow out of control along the plantar fascia. Luckily it's not at a horrible stage, just a very uncomfortable stage. Without me saying a word about it, he felt them and massaged everywhere else but there. I was impressed that he is very aware of medical abnormalities and accomodates those. So serious Kudos for that, because I don't think he speaks english at all. After the foot rub, while you are on your back they massage your shoulders, arms and hands. Then afterwards, you flip face down and they massage your shoulder, back, butt and thighs. Unfortunately, I have several problems with feet, knees and one elbow. Despite these medical issues, without hesitation he made sure to work those areas the best he could without causing pain. Hands down, I have been to MANY massage places and no one is as good as this place. At least none that I have found over the past 25 or so years. When you ask for pressure they apply it. Also, our son is 8 and he gets a massage tailored to him. We can't say enough great things about them. En-JOY!! HORRIBLE! My husband and I went today, he wanted 30 minutes back only and I wanted the 1 hr reflexology.....the one where they soak your feet and cost $25. Well, $75 plus an additional $10 mandatory tip, I am so frustrated to say both of our experiences sucked! I got a 35 minute foot ONLY massage and instead of soaking my feet he sprayed them with alcohol, that cost me $40! And my husband got a 30 minute some back, kept trying to rub his legs even after he kept saying back only, that cost $35! THEN.....the guy I am assuming is the owner was yelling at both the guy who massaged me and the one who massaged my husband. I've had massages here and generally they've been a good experience but not today. The guy was inexperienced and had no idea what he was doing. I originally asked for a 30 minute massage but, because it was so bad I changed it to 20 minutes. To make matters worse, he jipped me on the time and I watched him do it! I was ripped off, while going to Joy Reflexology, which left a bad taste in my mouth. I wanted a 20 minute massage. The cashier would not accept my money before the massage. "It's OK, you'll pay at the end." I see now why that is so. Near the end of my massage, the masseuse insisted that because my muscles were so tense, I needed an extra 10 minutes. OK. At the end, the cashier insisted that I pay extra for the extra 10 minutes the masseuse insisted on, plus a $5 tip. I needed a foot massage BAD and this was the only place available at the time without an appointment! They have several masseus'. Spacious. Easy. In & out in no time. They have 10 min/$10, 20 min/$20, 30 min/$30 minute neck, shoulder, foot & full body massage. Quick, easy, convinient! This is my new go to spot. I've been here maybe 3 or 4 times. I've had both the full body massage where you lay down on one of the beds/benches in the back and the chair massage. The prices I've paid range around $25-30 for one hour full body to $30 for half hour chair massage. My neck and back are tight and sore often. I work out daily and work hard behind a desk mostly. It just build over time. When I really get tense and tired and strained I have to come by. I firmly believe relieving stress in this way is a great way to take care of your health. I came here with my dad on a Monday afternoon and did not have to wait at all for treatment. I got the 1 hour reflexology package which came with a back massage while my feet were soaking, a full body massage lying down, and reflexology treatment on my feet which was so worth it for the price. I personally like more pressure during my massages and my massage from Joy Reflexology took out all of the knots in my back and soreness in my feet, but if the pressure is too much, just tell them! Whether you want to treat yourself to Reflexology treatment or just want a 30min massage, Joy Reflexology is incredibly flexible and offers massages both in a massage chair and lying down all for very reasonable prices. The reason why I went was becasue I had an eye twitching problem and ive done some mexican home remedies and sleep but still didnt stop but when I came here I did the 15 min for 15 bucks massage I did not tell them I have an eye twiching problem. And after that I got in my truck and notice my eye twiching was gone. I could not believe it...it was amazing. Joy reflexology is located inside the Buena Park mall next to Buffalo Wild Wings. I enjoy deep tissue. You can't really get that at these reflexology places, except HERE. (I've only had male therapists work on me) because I'll ask for "Strong hands" and that what they usually give me. Today I had a Soon or Sun-Lee work on all of my knots. Basically in places on my back and legs I didn't know I had knots. He hits pressure points and even tagged someone in when he got tired. I appreciated that. A friend recommended this place and I thought it could be a great mid-month addition to my normal massage therapist I see. I requested a female and the first part was fantastic for the reflexology. Once I flipped on to my stomach she started in on my shoulders and it was great; perfect pressure. Within a few minutes I heard a man speaking to her, then a shift of hands. Holy cow, this man inflicted sooooo much pain on my entire back, spine, shoulders and buttocks and my legs. Anyway, I get horrible knots in my neck and shoulders from time to time due to a bad car accident two decades ago and from working a stationary job where I sit in front of a computer all day. The pain was worse than usual this week so I finally made my way in today ... AMAZING! The masseuse attacked the knots like they insulted his mama; that kind of "hurts so good" pain. Each point he focused on was like, "ah, that's the spot!" I've paid a ton for massages at Burke Williams and Glen Ivy recently, while they were very good, this place was just as good if not better. Plus, it's like a third of the price. Obviously, this is not the place to go if you want "ambiance" or to be "pampered."
