Went here not expecting much. Not by the way it looked or anything. Just kinda figured it'd be quick and alright. I was pleasantly proven wrong. We were with a group of 12. Were seated quickly. The menu was a bit overwhelming. So many choices!!! There were so 2 full pages of drink options alone!! It's been some time since we have dined at this location. We didn't want to fight the lunch hour crowds as Chinatown on a Sunday afternoon. When we came in, we were sat fairly quickly and were given some time to look over the menu. My kids and I ordered a few boba drinks and also ordered salted fish & chicken fried rice, beef cubes and s&p Japanese tofu. After having been to the Chinatown location a couple times, I decided to try this location since I was in the area. It was a bit confusing when walking in just because there was no signage for food and lots of signage for ordering drinks/boba/smoothies instead. We had to ask one of the workers whether or not they served food at this location to double check! They sat us down and their menu is VERY large with all types of Asian dishes from Thai curries, Korean noodle soups, all types of seafood, Chinese rice and noodle dishes, and more! Despite the extensiveness of the menu, all of our dishes were quite tasty! They also allowed us to do some meat substitutions free of charge when someone in our party changed the Beef Vermicelli to pork instead. The portion sizes are also quite large so be prepared for LOTS of food or taking some home in take out boxes. It also seemed that you can order from their large drink menu while sitting down and eating. We went on a Saturday night and we were the only ones sitting in the restaurant eating the food there which was honestly a bit worrisome at first, but the quality was very similar to the location in Chinatown! If you want a quieter and newer location for pan-Asian food, this would be the location! read more

Although the restaurant had only one table when I sat down, I waited an absurd length of time to place my order. Once the waiter came to me, he was impatient as I flipped through the menu to find the items I had decided on. One of the fun things about this place is that they have a million fruit and bubble tea options. I was looking for the photo of the matcha milk tea with red beans and he told me what he thought I wanted, as if he knew. Which I figured he did. Anyway that came and it wasn't at all what I wanted. The beans were ground up into it. I pointed it out right away and said that the photo had the beans whole and on top but he insisted this was how it came. I tried it, found it pasty and flavorless. Then showed him the picture, which he told me wasn't what I asked for. ALSO, the fried vegetable pot stickers have a photo with a dipping sauce, but came without it. When I asked about it, they scooted the red, sticky, sweet egg roll sauce that was on the table towards me. I was still trying to be a sport at that point and made do with the soy sauce on the table. But the pot stickers seemed to have ground meat in them and the only veggie I could find was some cabbage. I asked what the meaty substance was but was only told, "not meat." I sent those back but was still charged for them. My drink was ultimately begrudgingly remade after I argued about it. It was a lousy experience. I took my chow fun home. The noodles are consistently good. I'll eat them at home where I don't feel unwelcome. read more

Came here on Lunar New Year since the Chinatown location was super busy and the restaurant was almost empty. We were seated right away and treated very kindly. The food was just as delicious as the Chinatown location and the serving size was worth the price. With such a large menu, you're bound to find a dish that you like. The rice was almost white and virtually had no flavor, but whatever I just added soy sauce and kept it moving. My friend and I wanted to try the drinks here since they're close to our college campus. We ordered the coconut milk tea and the frozen ice strawberry drink. The first sip of both drinks was really underwhelming. The coconut milk tea tasted weirdly artificial, while the strawberry drink tasted like unripe banana. Overall not really satisfied with the quality of the drinks, but the portion sizes are big, and their boba and popping boba are really good. I didn't get a chance to try their food yet so I want to leave a decently fair review, but the drinks we got were really not great. I still recommend giving this place a shot, but maybe try a different drink when you do. read more
