Our couch was supposed to arrive in 2-3 weeks, it too 2-3 months. The couch feels awful and very cheap. The padding in the cushions is terrible. They are very uncomfortable and almost bowed-shaped, making a loud sound of uninsulated springs hitting them whenever you sit down or move. This feels like a very cheaply made couch with no quality control, not a handmade quality couch. We sat on the display couch at the store and this feels nothing like it. I couldn't be more disappointed with the delay and what they ended up delivering... nothing like the one at the store. read more

I visited this store 3 times and worked with the designer to pick the perfect couch for my new place. They are pricey, but I was willing to make that commitment for a piece that would fit me well. I ordered the Aimee Sectional and waited about 6 weeks for delivery. I received it 5 days ago. It looks great. However, after sitting on it intermittently for only 5 days, the long part of the sectional started forming a very noticeable dip to the point of discomfort when sitting on it. When notifying customer service, I was informed that "this occurs with most oversized cushions" and the solution is for me to "stroke" the cushion regularly and massage out the dips. How is this quality of life? I sit on a couch, then I have to spend time fixing the cushion every time? I have owned several couches in my lifetime, and have never experienced something lose its form as quickly. Joybird needs to do something to address customers' concerns and reimburse them accordingly. read more

My partner and I have been shopping endlessly for a couch for our new house and Joybird hit the spot! We had seen lots of advertisements for Joybird on Insta and after doing some research found that there was a new showroom in LA. We went in and immediately hit it off with Riyah, one of the design consultants there. She knew we were concerned about picking the right size and fabric for our space and she let us know they offer FREE design services. We scheduled an appointment and she and another JB rep came to our house and measured our living and dining spaces and brought large pieces of our favorite fabrics to view in our space. We met again a week later and she had several design options for us! She included the couch in several options of fabric and different chairs, rugs, and even included some of our specific pieces from our place we said we wanted to include in the space! We ultimately went for a monochromatic look with desert tones and bought the Lewis sectional in Crave Irish Crème which as you can see fits beautifully in our space! Best yet is I am a very accident prone individual and for an extra $300 you can add on a protection plan that will cover stains and any damages. We got the couch at a huge discount from their July 4th sale and they even have guys come in to install with white glove service. The whole thing maybe took 5-6 weeks for our couch to get built and it is so perfect! They even offer payment plans so you don't have to pay it all up front!!! So in love with Joybird, their amazing attention to detail and full service staff! Today, I worked with Riyah, and she was outstanding. I had a question about whether I should put glass on top of my Xavier desk and, if so, should I use spacers. She knew her stuff and took the time to explain how one should use glass atop furniture. Riyah even referred me to the proper spacers. I am having a Pulaski piece restored as well and didn't expect her to answer for furniture outside of Joybird, but I asked anyway. She was quite decisive! Spacers it is. Riyah went above and beyond to give me the help I needed right when I needed it. I have to say, regardless of department, I've received exemplary service from Joybird. As another example of excellent service, I had placed two orders about two days apart. I asked whether Joybird could combine them. This was at the start of a big sale, and I'm sure they were terribly busy, but the representative took her time and ensured that we could safely cancel one order and add all the items to the other without them going out of stock in the meantime. (Items were going out of stock as I shopped!) With kindness, humor, and professionalism, she saved me two delivery dates as well as an additional delivery fee! The credit appeared on my card as pending immediately and posted within a few days - as cards are wont to do. I will not hesitate to shop with Joybird or refer friends and family to them. After waiting over a month to receive our couch, the delivery showed up with a completely incorrect center piece. We selected a blue fabric and the couch piece that arrived was BRIGHT YELLOW. When calling Joybird, they had little to offer but for me to refuse my couch, which I have paid thousands of dollars and waited weeks for, or to wait for them to "find" the correct pieces. If they don't find it I'll be issued a replacement that likely won't come for another month. Absurd. I'll be updating in my experience to get this rectified. But as it stands now, I will never be buying from Joybird again, nor will I be recommending them to others. read more

The lack of quality in how bottoms are attached is a constant frustration. Repairmen have been sent from Joybird several times. Joybird relies on a plastic hook and nylon sting through the cushion rathe than a sewn on button eyelet, thus every time you slide your body on the seat cushion a button pulls. Physically, sliding one the button is not comfortable. The seat cushion slides out of place- so then the back cushion falls- every time. I have filled out complaint forms, had service visits- nothing fixes poor design. Seriously- look elsewhere. read more

I honestly don't know where to begin other than to say, I cannot recommend against this place enough. 5 months ago my fiancé and I purchased a sofa and two chairs from this company. When we ordered the sofa and chairs, they each had custom cushions based on the fabric and color that we wanted so naturally, it took some time to make these items so the delivery was scheduled for 6-8 weeks. The problem speak and when we realize that they use the third-party delivery service J.B. Hunt. And for some reason they insist on unpacking the furniture inside the truck and carrying it into the house. Completely exposed. Even if it's raining. In my experience new furniture is wrapped in cellophane and protective packaging and unpacked inside the house. It's for this reason I believe that one of the chairs arrived damaged and was rejected on delivery. But accidents happen, and sometimes things arrived damaged. The real issue was how Joybird handled the situation going forward. Joybird is a company that absolutely does not contact you or their third-party delivery service. There's absolutely zero communication. When we returned the chair, the delivery service did not know enough about the return process to tell us to keep our custom cushions. They simply took back the entire chair, which seemed normal to us. The problem was when the chair was returned to the Joybird warehouse. Nobody took responsibility for the return and the chair, and our custom cushions were lost in the mix. No one at Joybird flagged that the cushions were fine, and only the frame needed to be replaced. When we called customer service, they said a new chair would be coming out but it would take another six weeks. Already we were getting very frustrated because we were hoping to have this furniture for our bridal shower. We patiently waited another six weeks and the chair finally arrived WITHOUT cushions! When we call Joybird, they acted like they had no idea how to manage return, and were completely surprised that we needed the cushions still, possibly assuming we would just keep the cushions when we rejected the original chair for being damaged? It really feels like they keep zero records on their end and have no idea what they're doing. I wouldn't be surprised if this is a very underemployed company. At this point we were laughing and crying at the same time. We ordered this furniture in January and it was now May 1. When we called customer service, they said they would try to rush us new cushions by the end of the month.. We will already be at our wedding and on our honeymoon. We have no idea when we will get these cushions and not once has this company tried to apologize for their incompetence or offer any sort of compensation for what is now turning into a six month delivery of a chair. Avoid this company like the plague. We are not overly impressed with the furniture that they did deliver accurately. The sofa feels nothing like the floor model, it's rigid, and not plush. This is a belated but still very worthy and honest review! My daughter was interested in a couch for her new home. She was interested in joy bird and since I live so close I thought I would stop in! I was enthusiastically greeted by all the staff. I met Ross Weaver who showed me around. It's a beautiful store with gorgeous furniture especially those sofas. They have an amazing list of colors and textures and are made to order. Ross was so patient with me while I was on the phone with my daughter who was asking tons of questions. He knew every single answer and asked her many questions as well. I left that day without purchasing but the minute I left I called my daughter back and said we are buying the couch from Ross even if we pay more in person than online. We went back the next day to purchase and Ross gave us an even better deal. My daughter got the sofa delivered today and it's perfect she said! Thank you Ross! Not worth it, not much is included, everything excluded. They hype up the pet protection plan, but yet you have to call for every incident, and then cross your fingers that the picture that you are sending them is clear enough for them to agree that there are stains. Furniture companies partner with companies who then partner with the actual technician that will do the work. Joybird partnered with Servco who are partnered with a sofa cleaning company. It's just not worth the waste of time, money or frustrations. You can probably clean or fix the furniture yourself or get someone to do it, an overall it will be cheaper. read more

I visited the showroom in West Hollywood. I was immediately greeted by Pierre and he was so warm and friendly! I wasn't exactly sure on which sofa I wanted and he took his time to give me the spec and details on each sofa he showed me. He offered me water and went above and beyond, because I had a lot of questions and I was overall unsure of what I wanted to do. He took his time and was extremely patient with me and we finally decided on the Lewis. He knew I was still a little nervous about the decision so he suggested the "decide later" option so I could go home and think about it. And I'm so glad he did because I came back a week later with my mom and decided to switched the Lewis out for the Braxton. Again Pierre handled the transaction with ease and with a smile. My overall experience was great and I would recommend Joybird... and Pierre made my shopping experience that much better. read more

I had been seeing ads for Joybird for years so when I was moving into a bigger space I stopped into the show room to see if it was worth the hype. Ya'll, it is WORTH THE HYPE!! I fell in love with the Bryant sectional because it is BEYOND comfy. What I didn't expect was to be walked into a FULL ROOM of colors and fabrics to choose from to customize my couch. A super lovely worker named Jorunn explained it all to me but was not pushy at all. I wasn't quite ready to buy at the time and I wasn't made to feel any type of way about that. Jorunn gave me her card and told me to reach out when I was ready. A couple weeks later when I called Jorunn wasn't in but another lovely worker was able to pick up and help get everything ordered. It did take two months which felt like forever because I was so excited (obviously supply chain issues, nothing to do with joybird). Once it finally arrived it was brought up and put together without me having to lift a finger. My friend was in the market for a coffee table, and as Ross was taking care of her. I wandered around the store and saw the Chelsea sofa in the Barbie collection. I thought this is my couch and then saw the Ruby color and thought I have to get this. I thought the sofa might be too long.
