After spending hours in online couch-buying purgatory, and having a few Joybird pieces end up some of my top choices, my husband and I decided to head down to the store to actually check them out in person (what a refreshing concept!). We were so lucky to have Lino help us out; the store is gorgeous, the setup beautiful, and most importantly, the pieces COMFY! And Lino was just the best. Everything felt fantastic and solid, and having the fabrics there (as well as Lino's advice on which ones to go towards for best durability) was invaluable. Seeing everything in person helped solidify and even shift our thoughts a bit, Lino gave us great design advice on top of it all, and definitely didn't hurt we'd accidentally timed it perfectly with a sale - fantastic value for what we're getting, I feel! Strongly recommend heading down to Joybird if in in doubt about the overwhelming couch/decor options out there today, we actually had fun! I had such a pleasant experience shopping in the Joybird SF showroom -- it's a calm and beautiful space with professional staff. Sean was very knowledgeable showing me various pieces and he patiently answered all my questions about fabric and cut SO many fabric swatches for me to take home to help us decide. He politely made sure I was aware of the day's promotions, without being pushy, so I could take advantage of them. Placing the order by phone later that day was a breeze; Sean wasn't available but Haven immediately remembered the pieces I'd been discussing with him. I had been looking for a sofa at joybird.com for some time and wanted to see and try the sofas and farbics in person. I walked into Joybird and Haven provided great support and guidance. She recommended farbics that are pet friendly. We also reviewed several photos of the family room and other materials in there and she helped us choosing a color and texture for that area. When we needed our own time video calling to the rest of the family talking about options, she gave us privacy but answered questions when needed. I cannot wait to get our dream couch! I had the best experience purchasing a couch at joybird! I was doing tons of research prior about what couch would be best for us -- I wanted something modular but super comfy and cozy. Joybird has exactly that! Lino helped me pick out my Lewis sectional and the right swatch. She's awesome -- I showed her pics of my new living room and she was dedicated to picking out the perfect color that would work with the room, as well as the orientation, and she was super patient with me as I coordinated with my fiancé via FaceTime! Do not order furniture from Joybird unless you love sitting around waiting for delivery, only to get defective products that they waste your time claiming they will 'fix' but don't. "Customer service" consists of cheery scripted emails that promise nothing and answer none of your questions. Reality is they'll give you whatever they want when they get around to it and you can take it or cancel the order and pay 10%. Don't waste your money and your time. read more

Not only was Richard Lee knowledgeable, friendly and fun to work with, he was also able to create a 3D rendering of my space which helped me visualize how the furniture would fit in my space. The best customer service!! I ordered a couch from them and when it came it didn't fit through my hallway. They let me return it no problem even though it was made to order. I recently moved into a new apartment and needed to buy all new furniture. I found the Joybird store on Instagram and picked it due to the variety of styles/fabrics available for couches and the prices seemed reasonable. I went into the SF showroom because I wanted to get an idea of the model I was interested in (sleeper sectional couch). I met Lino and she was very helpful. They didn't have the exact model couch that I wanted in the showroom but a few similar ones. She let me know that the sleeper mechanisms are the same in all of their couches, and she let me test out a sleeper bed in one of the models which was comfier than I expected. She also said they had a very similar style sectional (similar cushion and comfort-wise) to the one that I wanted so I was able to test that out as well. She brought out the fabric I was interested in which also gave me a way better idea than the small piece I had from the swatch kit. Lino was very informative on the pricing and ordering/delivery processes as well. I added the protection plan and put in my order that day. My couch is scheduled to arrive by mid-June and I'm sure it will be delivered smoothly. Lino made the buying process easy and made me feel comfortable and confident with my choice!
