I went to the Joybird showroom in SF and had a great experience with the representative who patiently showed me various options until I decided on the best one. After going home and reflecting I called and placed the order for the couch I wanted. All of this was a great experience. When the couch was (white glove???) delivered, they dropped the pieces in my living room and half assembled it but didn't finish completely. When I called to request that someone complete the assembly, I was told that wasn't part of the service of delivery. I ordered a chair May 20th. They IMMEDIATELY charged me FULL price. It was supposed to be delivered by June 26th. Then, they changed it to July 11th-17th. Then less than a week ago, they told me it had shipped and would be delivered July 5th-8th. Today, on July 2nd, they now say it will be delivered July12-18th. They've had my money for 1 1/2 months and all I get are constantly changing delivery dates and aggravation. They think sending out these ridiculous "touchy feely" emails about how they're "gathering and inspecting the materials" and "crafting the furniture" makes up for the aggravation. Nope. Not gonna buy from them again. If I knew then (May 20th) what I know now, I would have bought the chair elsewhere. read more

I knew I wanted a couch but I didn't know any more than that. I also didn't know if I wanted to go with Joybird, but Lino was really helpful in walking me through the different considerations, such as style of couch (sectional or sofa), seating depth, aging of the sofa cushions, and how it worked with my space (size and color), as well as the warranty policy. This review relates to my experience at the store with Richard - Richard was very professional and placing our couch order with him was a smooth process. A few weeks after we placed our order, I noticed that the custom color we ordered became available as a "ready to ship" option. I emailed Richard to see if we could have the ready to ship couch sent (so we wouldn't have to wait for fabrication) and he reached out immediately to let me know he was checking in with the customer service team. Within two hours, I had a second email from him confirming that customer service would help me as well as an email from customer service offering to make the change. Lovely place and friendly people! I was there yesterday and saw a table I liked. I wasn't actually shopping for anything! I came home to measure the space.
