We really loved it here! We snagged a last-minute reservation before a concert since we were…read morecraving something light and fresh, and this place was perfect. We started with the tuna and guacamole--both were fresh and delicious. Then we shared a flatbread and the special watermelon arugula salad, which paired perfectly. The portions were great too--we even had leftovers! Our waiter was excellent, kept our drinks full, and recommended the flatbread, which we're so glad we went with. Since it was still early, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, with just a few couples enjoying date nights nearby. Definitely recommend if you're in Golden--we'll absolutely be back!

We had a great experience at Indulge Bistro & Wine Bar recently. The first thing you notice is the…read moremassive selection--they have a plethora of wines available by the glass, bottle, or through tastings, but they also have a full bar with beer and liquor if wine isn't your first choice. I opted for the Chateau Ste. Michelle Sauvignon Blanc from the Horse Heaven Vineyard, and it was lovely. It was very refreshing with light citrus notes that weren't overpowering and a really nice body overall. I also have to give a shout-out to the staff for the presentation; the glassware was crystal clear and spotless, which always makes the drink taste a little better. The atmosphere is perfectly casual, with TVs playing the NFL playoffs (and presumably other sports), making it a relaxed spot to hang out without being too "stuffy." We dove into their large food menu and started with the fried pickles and the spinach artichoke dip served with veggies, both of which were delicious. The service was friendly and jovial throughout the visit, which made us feel right at home. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is that we had a small lapse in service where we had to ask a second time for lemons for a glass of water, but the staff was so pleasant that it was a minor blip in an otherwise excellent visit. I'll definitely be back to work my way through more of that wine list!

I had high hopes for the Eddy but my experience there was that the food was just OK. I ordered…read moreburnt ends from their barbecue food truck and they weren't really ends or burnt. They were kind of just fatty pieces of barbecue meat. Still delicious and the sauces were great, but not really what I was hoping for. We ordered cheese curds, which were actually cubes and that is the first time I've ever seen shaped curds. They were pretty good, as was the sausage and mac & cheese, though the cheese sauce was a little thin. My mom had the focaccia grilled cheese, which had awesome flavors in it, but the focaccia itself was super thick. If we could decrease the bread by like half I think this would be an awesome choice. I think the main reason I would go to the Eddy is to hang out on their patio, especially when they have live music. It's a good view of golden in the foothills and its probably a great sunset spot. They also have a lot of good nonalcoholic options which we really appreciated - including nonalcoholic wine, which you don't see very often . I think I would stop back here on my way back from hiking or climbing in the canyon but I hope to be a little more impressed by the food next time.

Yes we were told we could even bring her inside. This made all the adults so happy. We sat in/out near a huge back patio set with games and other dog owners came and went. Food selection was nice, and there were a few options for a diner with gluten restrictions, though not a dedicated gf prepared. Two men ate burgers, and I had the fried green tomato blt it was very good. So many fries on the side. Service was a smidgen slow, the waiter was attentive until near the end of our meal as more folks came and went in the restaurant. We waited a little to get final check. Great patio/pub dining inside the restaurant. Super dog friendly.
