Nataliya Babin, the owner, is a Certified Master Groomer. Discovering her business was a perfect timing for me since I thought that salon grooming has become too stressful for my senior westie. Nataliya lets the owners stay with their pets and watch her work, if you choose so. She is very gentle and caring with my dog, and she does a great job making her feel pampered and pretty. Natalyia is a wonderful groomer. She has such a calm demeanor that even made me feel more comfortable. She allowed me to watch and assist at times with the grooming of my medium length hair cat. I at times am concerned about groomers that also groom dogs but the setting was clean, my cat seemed very comfortable and content when finished. We were even given a cute bow at the end. I would recommend anyone bring their pet here. read more

I have an Airedale, a little over a year old, and I have been trying to hand strip him on my own thus far. After trying for a year, I decided I needed a professional. Hand stripping is very hard to find; most people who offer it are not accepting new clients. Thankfully I found Nataliya, and she had availability. Her salon is by appointment only, so your pup is the only one there for his appointment. When we arrived, she let him roam around and sniff everything, giving him time to get comfortable. She invites you to stay with your pup if you'd like to. I decided to this time, just because hand stripping is difficult and I wasn't sure how he would be for someone else. I had also shaved parts of him in desperation and knew that would make her job more difficult. Plus, watching is a good way to learn. She was very sweet and gentle with him, but firm when she needed to be. It's a very labor intensive process, and I was amazed by her patience and stamina, and by how relaxed he seemed for most of it. He responded really well to her, but when he did get tired and cranky, she gave him a break and was very understanding. My dog looks great, and had a very good experience. I'm so glad we found Joyful Pet! read more

It had been difficult to find a great groomer for our cockapoo mix, Pixie, until we found Joyful Pet Grooming. Now, she comes out of her appointment looking fresh and fluffy but still herself (other groomers in the past have way overly chopped her beard and eye area to where we hardly recognize her). This grooming appointment we also got our pup's teeth cleaned for the first time and they look so great. Overall, I'd highly recommend Joyful Pet Grooming for poodle mixes. read more

Wonderful groomer who is very knowledgeable about multiple breeds both cats and dogs! She is familiar with show coats and never pushes me to shave my beloved puppy. I love a long coat for a Shih Tzu and know the maintenance requirements but this is the look I want (for now). We have had three grooming sessions so far and my pup gets more and more excited for each one. She is also noticeably calmer during the trims and blow dry portions which can be challenging for many dogs. I believe it is her gentle touch and positive experience that my dog has each time that helps. Oh and my dog loves her treat bin! We had a cleaning today and I was amazed by the results and how willing my dog was to have the process completed. No anesthesia and no whining. - two big pluses in my book. My only wish is that she was more local to me but the drive is worth it for the positive experience my fur baby has each time. read more

I took my powder puff Chinese Crested (rescue dog!) to be groomed by Natalya today. And I can assure you it was completely Joyful! Natalya knows exactly what she is doing. Living under the so very mistaken opinion, that cats don't enjoy baths or grooming I finally broke down and brought my greasy, dandruffy and matted cat to Nataliya. Since it was the first appointment, I was allowed to stay with Molly. Nataliya was absolutely wonderful! She explained in detail to me how to take care of long hair and matts. Then she gave Molly a wonderful bath, which cleaned her perfectly. I even had the feeling my cat enjoyed the treatment. After the blow dry, she looked unrecognizable fluffy and lovely. Nataliya was so patient and kind along the whole procedure and I cannot say how pleased I was with her services. I will definitely go back and recommend her to anyone. read more
