Post groom

Our groomer Mollie, is very sweet. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog in her care.

Susan took care of sweet baby Biscuit's first groom at 16 weeks. She was really helpful when I called, and walked me through the process over the phone. She is busy, so I am glad I booked in advance - she did a great job with Biscuit. She even kept her for longer since I wasn't able to make it back down to the salon as soon as she was done. Biscuit seemed to love the staff, because she was so happy when I came to pick her up & she even made friends with the other dogs. I love that I knew she was in good hands when I dropped her off. Susan made sure to ask what I wanted, but since it was her first groom, she just introduced her to the process. Baby Biscuit came home smelling amazing, super fluffy, and sleepy! We will definitely be coming back for all of Biscuit's future grooms.

I only needed nail trims for my two nervous pups. I got an appointment to come in same day in the early afternoon. The groomer was so patient and good with my dogs and was able to successfully trim both pups' nails using clippers & the dremmel in 15 min flat. I apologized for my dogs' nervousness and and was told they have experienced way crazier, so I trust their skills and patience. I've had groomers from pet store groomers give up and only use clippers and come out sweating. We will be returning here for sure for future nail trims and any other grooming needs!

Bear... looking fine!!

We took our 2 doggos to Wagsworth for grooming this week. They are both older dogs and one of them has trouble standing up for long periods of time. There was great communication regarding our needs and how the process works before we went in. When we arrived they were so welcoming and really took some time to connect with the dogs. As a new dog mom I felt more comfortable leaving the dogs because these ladies love what they do!! When we picked them up the dogs looked amazing and weren't at all stressed. I can't recommend wagsworth strongly enough!!

First of all, when my dog showed signs of distress, the groomer immediately started scolding her, as if she was taking her stress out on my dog. Like, WTF? When I tried to step in, she walked toward the door to the back room which was super sus. I could tell the other groomer, who was working on another dog, noticed how bad the situation was getting and stepped in to help hold my dog. So I continued to monitor what was happening. When she finished, she walked toward me with a defensive attitude and said she "trimmed one of the nails too short, but it's not bleeding so it's fine." WTF? I asked her to show me which nail she meant, and she couldn't even identify it. When I saw it, it was trimmed really short and clearly looked painful. No wonder my dog was in distress. Then, as soon as I got into the car, I noticed bleeding on her back paw. I ran back in and told them my dog was bleeding, and again she got defensive, saying "Where? Where?" and tried to yank my dog's paws to check herself. When she finally saw the bleeding, she grabbed some kind of ointment or quick-stop powder and said, "Accidents happen." Uh, no. This wasn't an accident, it was incompetence. Honestly, her license should be reconsidered given her hostility toward animals and lack of technical skill. There was even more BS that came out of her mouth, but I won't bother including it here. Someone like her should not be handling pets at all. I was speechless at how unprofessional she was -- and even more shocked to learn that she is one of the owners, based on the photo here on Yelp. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
