And I loved that she gave me nail color books to choose from while she shaped my nails. In Boston, 80% of places expect you to choose about 30 seconds before being seated and it was so nice not to feel rushed and to be able to browse leisurely. Great experience! This nail spa is 3 mins from me so decided to try something local for convenience. I knew it was a lot pricier than my usual place and I was okay with that. The service and spa experience was just okay and for the price point I would expect a much better experience. I initially was going to do a mani/pedi decided on a spa pedicure pricey for $75 but I needed some extra care. The whole experience was just mediocre for $75 felt rushed on top of that. It came with a 15 massage which a timer was set but on my end as I looked at my phone ended up being 11 minutes and honestly didn't matter as the foot/leg massage was just terrible! The woman and staff were nice but this caused me to skip on doing the mani. At my usual nail spa place my basic $30 pedicure is a lot better and I come out with a great massage feeling relaxed unlike here where I left needing a massage. I paid & tipped 20% and putting this place as one and done. Just add The paint also chipped on a few nails after just 4 days! Makes me question the polish quality! They have shields between you and the nail tech and it looks like no one has ever cleaned them. They wear black outfits with white nail dust all over them. The girl who did my nails seemed angry and was insulting my nails. Afterwards when she lead me to the dryers, I had to ask her to bring my handbag. I brought my own polish and she just put it on the table, not in my bag. Forget about the little massage while drying. She said thank you and walked away. There's a reason why they had no business on a Friday afternoon.
