My husband and I recently visited this nail salon. He received a manicure, and I received a…read moremanicure and pedicure. We were serviced by two different nail technicians. A few days after our visit, I developed a rash that initially appeared on my right hand. Additional rashes later developed around both ankles and on the top of my left foot. Because the affected areas corresponded with areas involved in my nail services, I was very concerned and felt it was important to bring the situation to the salon's attention. My husband and I returned to the salon to inform them about what had happened. Unfortunately, instead of responding to our concerns with professionalism, compassion, or even an apology for the experience, we felt that the staff became confrontational. They demanded that we provide proof that we had actually received services there. We provided the requested proof. Regardless of what ultimately caused the rash, I expected the salon to take a customer's health and sanitation concerns seriously and respond professionally. The way our concerns were handled was extremely disappointing and made an already upsetting situation worse. Based on this experience, we will not return to this salon. I also intend to report my concerns to the appropriate health/licensing authorities so they can determine whether any sanitation or infection-control issues need to be investigated. Made an appointment again but ended up not getting started on for over 45 minutes. When I walked in I was a bit grossed out by the sewage smell that never went away. I asked the head lady in charge if they had the color I showed her on my phone...she said yes. I finally get Lisa who asks why I'm getting powder and tells me UV gels better and kept asking why I don't get it instead...I said I'll look into it if it's healthy or not...she persisted...I declined repeatedly..she started laughing and talking to the technician next to her-all I could make out was uv and powder in what sounded like a complaining, condescending tone. (The first time the leading lady tried to convince me to get gel as well but in a much nicer way-so it appears they don't like doing powder and removing it) Once she's done removing my last manicure she pulls out uv gloves and tries to put them on my hands...I asked her if she was going to do UV gel anyway even though I said no....she says yes, I tell her no, she starts complaining again in her language to the technicians near her. I had to ask if she knew how to do powder as I was beginning to get worried. After 2 hours the end result was fine, but in a color other than what I asked for and I'll probably have to go get them redone. So Be warned if you do go here...make sure you get gel! (And bring a translator) *also know they do not give complimentary massages while your nails dry as most other salons in the area do, instead they have a man who asks you if you want a massage, starts and then tells you the fee. Thankfully I picked up on this from seeing him do this to others before he got to me.

The same technician who did my eyebrows last time did…read morethem again today, and she ended up trimming way more hair off my left eyebrow than my right, leaving them completely uneven. When I pointed it out to her, she casually told me to just use an eyebrow pencil to fill it in. I told her I don't use eyebrow pencils! The salon is spotless and the ambiance is so relaxing - heated tables, comfy throws, etc. It all ends with a delicious tea Evelyn makes herself. As for services, I've done brow lamination, clean-up and tint - all have been amazing and last longer (for me personally) than the normal 2-3 weeks. I've also had a lash lift which was great too.
