Blink and you may miss it. But, if you own a vacuum or a sewing machine, this is a great business to know about. Staffed by a family of long-time sewing machine and vacuum experts, they can answer most any question that you can throw at them. They know their appliances. This kindly family is most helpful, too, giving free advice and suggestions, for instance why to stay clear of certain vacuums. Not only will they service your machines, they have a really good assortment of parts and accessories for sale, and even a couple of boxes of odds and ends of vacuum parts, should you be missing a brush or such. What they don't have in stock, they will happily order for you. Someone has made some interesting Hawaiian-type shirts available for purchase. Wonderful, old-fashioned service!

I was able to pick up the next day about 24 hours after drop off. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering they replaced the motor with a used motor he had on hand--such a relief since this Miele Salsa model are now discontinued. When I picked it up, everyone was so friendly and they took the time to show me how to check the beater bar for debris so I can keep it running smoothly. It's rare these days to get such great customer service! Even though I drove 30 minutes from Chula Vista (since there aren't any vacuum repair shops nearby), it was 100% worth the trip. Opukr Appliance responded quickly, and I told them about the issue, also mentioning that my fridge was less than three years old. Later, I found out from other companies and even Google that my fridge is actually covered by LG's five-year warranty. I used this info, called LG, and they immediately scheduled a free repair for me! Meanwhile, Opukr Appliance tried to take advantage of my lack of knowledge and quoted me a repair price of $1000+ while offering the earliest possible appointment -- clearly eager to make money off me as fast as possible. I truly value honesty and always try to be fair with people. But this experience showed me how unethical this company is. They prey on your lack of knowledge to overcharge you. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but I want to warn others -- don't fall for their tricks and don't let them take your money!
