I have recommended people to AMP before since my building has several owners who occasionally get locked out, but I've never once needed to reach out myself personally. Andrew, who is the manager, answered immediately, and then immediately got one of his two top locksmiths out within half an hour - this was after two other Locksmiths who boast excellent response time - Guardian Angel locksmith and FLAMMS Locksmith both in Sherman Oaks - refused and said that they were completely tied up... So much for compassion and loyalty. I got lucky and ended up with NICK who (despite me having a higher end lock that requires more effort than the usual), immediately opened it within two minutes. I know from experience that different locks can take upwards of an hour to crack depending on how complex they're created. I cannot say enough amazing things about this company, the price point was lower than Guardian Angel and FLAMMS, they were communicative, compassionate, and got the job done immediately. (And then... After reading all the reviews, I was convinced I need to look no further. Joseph responded promptly to my yelp request for quote by asking me to call with additional details of my problem. After our conversation I went to his store with trepidation that I will have to spend an arm and a leg for replacing the two keys of my Lexus RX 330. He virtually diagnosed the problem and had the solution in the wink of an eye. He proceeded with the necessary correction and I was in and out of his store in a heartbeat. This guy is your go to guy for anything automotive and electronic regarding keys. I bought a used car that didn't have the electronic components but I brought in the keys from a prior car of the same Myk. He installed electronics necessary and re-cut one key and electronically synchronized all of the fobs for $400. That sounds expensive except that when I went to the Honda dealership just the key is 340 without any electronics so I got a huge deal. He knows everything about car, keys and electronics, I cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

Was at the Lincoln dealership across the street to get a replacement programmed key and remote fob for my parent's Gran Marquis. They (Lincoln) had quoted me 3 hours to cut and program the key. Not only did JP save me about $100, but since I had my parents with me, I asked if the could turn it around quickly - it was done it about a half an hour!! Couldn't have been more pleased. Okay so I dropped my keys down the elevator shaft in the Americana Parking Structure. They told me that it would be $500 to get it out. I didn't have that money. So I researched locksmiths nearby and came across this one. I had the greatest experience with them. He met me right where my car was stuck and the key process only took about 10 minutes total! Very nice and helpful. Hard to get keys and remotes programmed for a car once all the dealers are gone (Saab). It took a lot to figure it out but he stayed with it until both a new key was cut and new remote were programmed. door locks on 2001 Ford Explorer were acting up. Ford said could cost $500. JP found that copy of the original key works great, and so does old key with some WD40. They also set me up with a remote door lock key fob. Total time there about 20 minutes. Wish i had handled this problem sooner. read more
