The check engine light on my car turned on this past week, it also started making this awful rattling sound by the exhaust area. I was told, by friends, it could be either a minor issue or the catalytic converter. As a single mother, I panicked to think it would be the more expensive problem and that as is, in these situations, people tend to take advantage of me being a woman. Friends recommended I take my car to Jorge. Most professional, friendly and courteous business owner I have met. Thank goodness it was the minor issue and that he was honest, actually took me and showed me where the problem was. Issue fixed and I am so grateful to him. Not many honest places like this left. Jorge was great. I had a transmission leak and he showed me where it was leaking and what he was going to do to fix it. Because of his up front and honest approach, I knew I needed shocks replaced, so I had him replace my front shocks as well. I would definitely recommend his work. read more

I would had preferred not to star this. I am VERY unsatisfied with the work that was done on my Civic when i took it to Jorge in May 2015 to replace my clutch. My car had no problems before taking it to his shop other than needing a new clutch. When I got my car back from him the airbag light was on and my motor kept moving when I would shift. He was also trying to charge me for him replacing motor mounts that I did not give my approval for him to change. When I had a Honda technician look at my car they informed me that there was only 1 bolt holding my motor in place, the clocksping had been broken when they put the clutch back in due to not making sure my steering wheel was straight and the motor mounts were still bad. Jorge let me leave knowing that the airbag light was on and put me and my 2 little girls in potential harm if the airbag deployed while I was driving because the clockspring was broken. He was not concerned for our safety. I later found out Jorge had a shop helper not a mechanic working on my car. He said he drove my car and everything was fine. I refuse to take my car back to him and will never refer anyone to his shop. Even after admitting he was wrong he still refuses to take responsibility and refund me the money he promised. My clutch is now going out again and its only been 3 months since he replaced it. read more
