I'm a repeat customer. I was losing power when I tried to accelerate on the gas. I didn't know what was happening. I called Ernie to schedule an appointment to have him diagnose the problem. It turned out to be that my intake air valve was cracked. I needed my spark plugs (bought that on my own) replaced too since my car had over 100,000 miles, plus my air filter was filthy because I didn't change it during the summer. Intake air valve $43, air filter $30, labor to replace parts needed $157, quoted at $230, plus taxes. Dropped my car off at 9:30 am, it was ready by 3 pm. I'm a happy customer. read more

Had my smog check done here recently. Had to get my smog done, and this was my second time coming here. Service is consistent. It's very quick (granted, last time it was only me and one other customer, and this time I was the only customer). They are very efficient so their business lives up to the name. It took around 15ish minutes. They are responsive. Last time, I needed a smog check, I was pinched for time and they were available so I walked in. This time, I reached out to a couple of other businesses for quotes and Minute Smog not only responded quickly, but they were also the most cost-efficient (and again, available to see me right away). Fast service and very HONEST. I was here for a smog check and asked them to check my brakes, too. Edgar told me that I still had a plenty left on the pads and that I just needed to wash the tires with a brake dust cleaner to stop the squeaking noise. I was lied to at two other places where I was told I needed new brake pads and rotors when I actually didn't, so I was happy to talk to someone who was honest with me and gave me a helpful tip. They do repairs and maintenance work, and their prices seem a lot more reasonable than many other places. We got there right when they opened at 8am, when i tell you they are fast and amazing!!! THEY ARE!! They helped us immediately and we were in and out in 35 mins. I don't think they do appointments just walk ins but hardly any lines. Our smog was only $65 and they only charge if you pass. Guys were so nice to let us have our animals in the car since we were moving that day. They were gentle and friendly and super helpful. Just letting you guys know there is no restroom!
