I called for a simple quote to patch a tire and was told it would be $20-$25 'depending on the size of the tire.' Since when does that matter for a basic patch? The guy insisted it was normal because 'some tires are bigger than others.' I told him it was a stock tire for a pick up truck with nail, he said the puncture didn't matter only the size of the tire, completely backwards, logic. The guy had a childish attitude and if this is how they price things, I wouldn't trust them with anything. read more

Went to Utah June 28 and bought what was suppose to be 4 "new tires" from them (JR TIRES PHELAN) barley made it to the 15 fwy and two of them popped went back to jr tires they gave us the other two and a rim luckily made it to Vegas and then the other two popped the entire time the guys were laughing when we went back and now we know why we went over to discount tires in Vegas and they said the tires were not new they just cleaned them up to make them look new and to check the DOT it was from 2/14 about 9 years old! Ran over median at 18 and 138 split and they fixed us right up! Others lined up for repairs and new tires all of the time we were there.

My tire popped on me on Phelan Road a few weeks back and they were a couple miles up the road. I was able to make it to them. They had me in and out in 35 minutes with a reasonably priced used tire that was actually in really good condition. They were so helpful! They really helped me out that day!! read more

We had a flat tire in the middle of no where and located this tire shop close by since we were driving on a doughnut. I called in advance while we waited for the doughnut to be put on, was told they had 2 Michelin tires In the correct size. my husband called to confirm the price. both times we told them the size and both times they confirmed the size. when we got there they informed us they did not have that size but one size bigger, the situation got worse I refused to trade with them since they flat out lied and I told them that. on our way out a man came out claiming be told me the tires were a different size which he knew was untrue. I pointed out he talked to me and my husband and he told us both the same thing!! read more

Every time I have came to this shop it's always been an issue. If you're waiting and someone they know shows up after you they will help them over you. They lie over the phone about what they have and how much it is. I've given them 4 tries now and every time it's the same disappointment. read more

I drove a tire to them today that had a bad valve. Firestone had quoted me over $25 on the phone, saying they needed to charge me for a "patch", even if it only needed a valve replaced because it's "company policy". Stupid people irritate me. Other Firestone dealers have been exceptional, but NOT the one in Hesperia. Local is usually my first go, especially locally owned over chains. This experience reaffirmed why. I would have gone to them first, but I was under the impression they closed early on Saturday. I'm glad I was wrong! I brought the tire in and they fixed it in about 3 minutes, and only charged me $5 - barely more than just the valve stem would have cost me at an auto parts store! Since they treated me right, I'm looking at giving them more business - I need a new spare and rim. HIGHLY recommend them, thanks!!! read more

My husband took tires there to get mounted that he bought somewhere else and that is because we are on one income family with a new baby. I was experiencing a slow leak for over a month (psi 26, I'd fill it up and by the next week it would be 26 again) so today it was reading 26 AGAIN so I stopped by Jr's Tire shop and they had me in and out within 10 min after looking at the tire, diagnosing the problem (small nail), then patching it. They didn't take advantage and charged me a very reasonable price for the fix. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! read more

This place is the biggest joke in town in such a small town in Phelan California. I had these guys order a tire for me because they cannot repair my tire, they said they can order me a semi new tire for the next day and then they will call me when the tire was there. They never call me the next day and then they told me that they will have it the following day so two days later they still didn't have my tire. I have six cars in my house and now they lose all the business because they're a bunch of unprofessional people. Don't go to this place is a joke. read more

I happen to be in Phelan doing some work. As I was leaving the job site I noticed my passenger side rear tire looked a little low. After checking it out I saw two nails in the tire. Jr's was the 1st tire shop I saw. Pulled in and Jesus took great care of me. Patched it up and sent me on my way. Hopefully I won't be in this situation in Phelan again, but if it does happen I know where to go. read more

Poor service. Went to have my flat tire fixed. Watched while worker removed tire found nail right away. Put plug to patch hole placed tire in water made sure plug worked. Put tire back on went home next morning tire was flat. Went back told owner worker failed to check if tire had any other leaks. He didn't believe me said i had to wait over an hour because worker was at lunch. 10 minutes later worker returned and both ignored me and started working on another vehicle that came after me. Moral of this review stay away from jr tires if u need your tire fixed. read more
