The time estimate for parts proved accurate, and when the parts arrived, he quickly scheduled a time for the installation work to be done. We did two custom shower casings. He and an assitant completed the installation within the morning. The workmanship was excellent. Only one hiccup that was not his fault. He received the wrong door hardware and so he installed some temp hardware. He came back 1-2 weeks later after the right hardware arrived and swapped it out. I highly recommend J's Custom Glass. Jorge and his team are hardworking, filled with positive attitude and are very pleasant to work with. We have a sunroom/art studio that is comprised of glass panels. It is in the Eichler style, the iconic California mid-century style of architecture that his worker informed me. Luckily, he had a lot of experience with these types of windows. These windows needed to be replaced because the aging glass was leaking its inner air/gas so moisture and condensation permeated throughout, creating an opportunity for mold to grow. Turns out that this job required a lot of work due to the wood panels in which the glass was set; others I had called turned down the job (one said it was a contractor's job because he didn't know how to handle the wood frames) or quoted high $$$$$ exorbitant rates. Jorge and his team had a great can-do attitude and the outcome was spectacular. They have a meticulous eye for detail: Jorge used clear caulking in certain areas (esp. the interior) so that the aesthetics were smooth. Sounds obvious, but you would be surprised how many would miss this detail. They are busy so be patient in response times and do be proactive in checking back. Once they have your glass and set up your appointment, they are on time and do excellent work. They also did a nice clean-up afterwards. read more

I can't recommend Jorge and J's Custom Glass more highly. They installed beautiful and high-quality sliding glass doors on our shower-over-tub. The work was impeccable, particularly the very precise caulking work around the frame. The work was done quickly and professionally and they painstakingly cleaned up after themselves. Fast forward 1 year and the inside handle on one of the doors is rusting. We call them and they say that definitely shouldn't happen and they'll replace it for free. Jorge came out on a Saturday and found the handle was frozen in place due to the calcification. He spent an hour (!!) working on it to get it out and replace it, when I'm sure he expected a 5-minute job. He didn't complain at all, insisted on carefully cleaning up (even though I said I'd do it because I felt bad it took so long), and didn't charge us.
