I've been to cookies & friends on a few occasions and each time I've had a different issue. Against…read moremy better judgement, I booked a reservation here again. It's the close at grooming place near me and they already have my dogs information so I figured one more time can't hurt. Unfortunately all it takes is one time to do damage. I took my dog in for grooming earlier this week and she was eagerly trying to get away (I should've read that as a sign too). The dogs from the daycare were barking at her from behind their pen (they're apparently kept separate from the grooming business). The groomer took my dog to one of the rooms in the back and told me To come back in about an hour. Am hour later I get a call to come back. I see that my dog's behind is closely shaven down. She looks almost bald on her butt. They said it was matted apparently. OK- I let that one go. It wasn't the best look but it grows out. Then when I got home, I noticed my dog was tracking something red. I thought maybe she had stepped on something, maybe a berry? No, it was blood! This was after I had taken her for a walk outside for 30 minutes too. That means she was bleeding all that time! I immediately called Cookies and Friends to report this. As you can see in the picture, it's clearly bleeding from the nail. They cut her nails down to the bone. Way too short. The woman told me to bring her in to put some lotion on it. She first tried to say that it wasn't caused by then and it must've been something outside. I sent her the picture of her paw and asked for a partial refund due to the poor care they took. She got very nervous and said she can't do that. She said "whatever. No, bye". Is that the way you talk to a client? Especially when you're in the wrong? Never again. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

(He goes nuts when I try) so I knew this was going to be a huge milestone. I called and squeezed me in the same day. We showed up and the dog in back started barking so of course my little guy got very excited lol. The groomer was a little taken back by how loud my boy was lol. He packs a loud bark but is the sweetest boy. Maybe bc I'm the mom idk lol but I was nervous. He took him into the back said I'll see you in 2 hours . I was so nervous I kept checking in . The groomer called and said "your baby is ready" haha the way he said it was just so funny and loving you can tell they really care for their clients as if they were theirs . Soon as I came in my little guy ran up to me I didn't even recognize him!! He was a different dog !! They did such a good job. This is my go to place now and so grateful I found them. Try them out ! You won't be disappointed!

Had a great experience today at this new dog grooming place. Always felt that a pet grooming place…read morein this part of the town was needed. Parking is right in front of the door, so drop-off and pick-up were super easy. The place felt very steril and clean. And the people seem very caring towards the dogs. There is a pet waiting area in front of the shop. Everything from the washing station to the grooming table is open and visible, so you can see the process. Owner was very attentive and friendly. Most of all, she did a great job with bathing and grooming my dog. Will definitely return.
