She arrived on time on Monday and had it fixed in less than 30 minutes. She was very efficient, professional, and had no problem answering my many questions about the process. The result is almost invisible, just a small spot where she had to drill into the glass to start the process. In the after photo, it's the tiny spot in the center of the photo - it looks more like a spot on the center lower half of the door to the house. If I am ever unlucky enough to need a windshield repaired or replaced again, my first call will be to Olivia. I knew with temperatures getting into the 40s at my house that night, that star was going to turn in to a crack across my windshield if I didn't get it taken care of right away. I did a quick search and Auto Glass now popped up. I didn't even call or anything I just drove up. I walked in and was greeted really quickly I asked if there was any way I could get a star repaired to keep the glass from cracking all the way. They took a look at it, it fit the parameters for repair, and they immediately took the car back. I was shocked. $60 and a half an hour later I was back on the road. Well, what was about a nickle sized starburst chip is now about a 2" long CRACK. It looked shitty immediately after, but of course their paperwork says if it cracks, it's "not their fault". I understood that the repair it wouldn't be invisible but was supposed to stop the chip from becoming a crack. I wish they would have said, "nope, we won't even bother to try", because this seem like a quality attempt. $50 for a longer crack, money I'd have put towards a new windshield instead.
