When a crack appeared on the foam surround, I brought it back expecting help with a warranty claim. Before even looking at the sub, the owner muhammad, immediately dismissed me, claiming it must have been "hitting something." I explained there was more than enough clearance and invited him to take a look for himself. He walked outside, glanced at it for barely 5 seconds, and said, "Yeah, sorry, nothing we can do. Rockford has a different warranty than brands like Kicker. You could buy a new one though." Guess what? I reached out directly to Rockford Fosgate myself. Within 24 hours, Rockford inspected photos of the sub and fully approved the warranty replacement. Elite Audio couldn't even be bothered to do basic homework for a customer who already spent $1200 in their shop. They aren't interested in helping you after you walk out the door--just in selling you another unit. Take your money to a shop that actually backs what they sell, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

The shop is extremely clean and the bay looks organized, seems they work on many different makes and models. After picking up my car they didn't install the O2 sensors because I didn't need it. The guy at the front went through what the cause was and gave me some tips on preventing it and they didn't even charge me! Car is running great so far. I was able to schedule an appointment fast and easy, and the second I walked in, Jeremiah and his team treated me like I was a good friend. Everyone was so professional and friendly, and he took his time to explain to me each option in detail, and the pros and cons of each package. He also helped me choose exactly how dark I wanted my tint to be, making suggestions when I was unsure. I ended up picking their premium option and I couldn't be happier. Before, getting into my car after a long day at work felt like I was getting into a sauna running at full blast, and driving on sunny days made me feel like I was cooking alive in my car (the UV protection is also a godsend--I'm very pale and burn so easily), even with the AC blasting. Now, it's so much cooler getting in, and it also cools down MUCH faster as well, making summer driving way more bearable. The appointment didn't even take long at all. I dropped my car off, went out for brunch nearby, and it was done right as I was finishing up my meal, and I am NOT a slow eater. When I picked up my car, Jeremiah explained the aftercare process to me very simply and concisely, which was very easy to follow, and I was provided an aftercare package! While I will admit it was a little pricer compared to other businesses when I was shopping around (and I DID get the most expensive option, so I'm sure even if you're on a budget, the cheaper options are just as good), with the level of care and effort the team put in, as well as the lifetime warranty that's included, I'd say it was well worth the price. I'm so happy with my tint and would highly recommend Hi Tint to anyone that's looking for great quality and care! Whenever I come around to getting another car in the far future, I'm absolutely coming right back here to get that car's windows tinted as well!!

Did my lift here years ago, also this event happened years ago. (review is very late, but started…read morethinking as I saw ads for them on Facebook regularly, people need to be aware of their practice) apparently they didn't tighten the steering knuckle lower 2 bolts on my Tacoma, clearly before I left I saw a thread sticking out on the lower control arm bolts, didn't say anything as I'd thought they'd honor their work, and thought they possibly even messed up the threads on that bolt that was loose which is why it didn't go all the way in, (as a mechanic I'm not going to touch something I'm afraid will break which would turn to my fault, liability is pretty important in the automotive service industry) they reassured me before I left that everything was perfect even though the skid plate wasn't installed as well until I said something, then within less than 6000 miles down the road and within less than a 6 month period, lower control arm came loose and went straight to the floor, took it back to them with a tow truck and they charged me for the labor to replace a lifetime warranty part from rough country as well as a CV axle that got damage due to collateral damage from the bolt coming loose. Clearly they didn't tighten the bolt with their response as "we loctite everything" well loctite only goes a long way when the bolt is torqued with a torqued wrench. A real shop would've comp everything and own up to their mistake and repair it for free due to technician negligence. But that didn't happen, rather just down another couple hundred dollars, around $800-1,000 to fix their mistake. But I mean the lifetime part was free which was great, one company at least honored something. Never coming back here again, neither will ever be involved with this shop ever again. Still have my receipt and can easily warranty stuff yourself on rough country website. Wasn't going to argue with these guys in person as they're pretty intimidated and aggressive when you put them on the spot. So it's easier to result in online reviews and let people know their practice as they're also firm with whatever they say with no room for talk or solution unless I'm guessing legal action is taken or a harsh review is made. They honestly just hungry for money, made the victim an even bigger one.

The only reason why i came back this many times is he is literally across the street from me and i didnt want to go far He always tries to small talk with you. And in that time he will ask you what you do for a living and how much the car is worth (in my case after he knew i had a car rental business each time i came he asked me hows business and what i am making per month) Based on those questions he will give you a quote. Which is unfair because you shouldnt be quoted based on your job and the cars value. It came to a point i told him "dont worry about the cars value just give me a quote". Another thing he does that i dont like is he will ask you "tell me EXACTLY what you want" and as an amature who doesnt know what their talking about, he will do exactly what you said and when its incomplete you are left worse then before. Youll see what i mean when you read about the accord The first time i brought a a 2020 soul that i tried to paint myself. It didnt come out right so i asked him to repaint it. He suggested i sand and buff it for $300. I agreed to it and altho the sand and buff was good he sanded thru the paint in several areas exposing bare metal. I had to get it repainted after his sand and buff Another time i brought a 2015 versa. He quoted me 450 and when it was done he asked me for $200 more because he did more work then he expected. He called it "unforeseen instance" which i knew that wasnt true because it was simple bondo and paint. Another time i brought an accord. I paid him 200 to mount the bumper because it wasnt aligning. He cut thru the bumper that wasnt aligning and a 1 inch sliver was hanging off. I asked him "what am i supposed to do with that sliver?" He said "just tuck it behind the headlight" i said "thats so ugly" and he said "well you said get the bumper mounted and i did exactly that so why are you complaining? Isnt that what you said?" I said "i didnt know you were going to leave a tab hanging off" LASTLY i brought a 2016 scion IM to mount the bumper because it wasnt aligning. He just put kitchen silicon and painted over it. We all know silicon is oil based and repels everything. Sure enough 1 week later the paint he put on the silicon has peeled off even tho i didnt even drive that car yet. It was also so ugly my girlfriend even said it was ugly and why i paid him. I txted him the situation and he ignored me. I am never coming back to this place again. He is dishonest and doesnt do fair business and his work absolutely sucks for a pro. I dont have pictures of the other cars but i do have a picture of our txt he ignored and the last car he did. You can see how ugly it was at the beginning and how 1 week later the paint peeled off making it look even uglier then the ugly

I had a paint job for my Versa, and the shop removed the letters and car insignia on the trunk door…read moreof the station wagon. They replaced the large insignia, but they said that I would have to put back the small letters myself. Also while cleaning the car for an inspection, in addition to finding the small letters for the trunk door, I found water in my wheel well for the spare tire in the trunk. I told them that they forgot to reattach the other end of a plastic tube that ran rain water in the trunk door top right corner. They said that they don't detach that. But they had detached the rubber foam seal on trunk door when they painted the car. The seal is in the same area of the door as the plastic tube. If I had known ahead of time about the small letters, I might not have gotten the work done there. Usually shops will replace whatever they took off the car, and not leave everything inside the car for the owner to put back. To be fair, they did put back some of the stuff I found in the car after I picked up the car- like the car insignia, the rubber foam seal on the trunk door.

So after negotiating a drop off date (16 May) to get my truck repainted, it took 11 days to start…read moreworking on it. 27 May. It was finished and ready for pick up on 6 June. I was off island until that evening. They were closed 7 June and I picked it up 8 June. The repainted color I am satisfied with but the detail work was mediocre at best. There is a ton of overspray on the rubber around the windows and rear view mirrors. Additionally, there are already a few chips in the paint in a few spots which will be a problem in the near future. This has been months of frustration. I am now just over it and will not return to this establishment again for paint work. I will say that the manager was apologetic about the delays due to staffing issues but honestly due to the way this was handled initially, I should have been a top priority and more detail and attention should have been given to my vehicle. In the manager's defense, he did take matters into his hands and conducted a majority of the work himself and I am appreciative of that. I have spent the last 2 hours attempting to clean up the overspray and it will take me several more to get it all removed. Overall , I wish this would have been handled better but you live and you learn. Again, I am satisfied with the color but not the delays in service nor the level of attention to detail. I paid a pretty penny for my vehicle and the paint job was not cheap. The expectations were high but not met. This is my honest assessment and I have no hard feelings towards the establishment nor the folks I have dealt with during this process. Mahalo!

Now they told me I gotta spend another $2400 to fix the same problem. My other half and I talked business with the owner's daughter Shay Nakamura about the situation and asked certain questions and she couldn't give any feedback to the situation at hand. She tried to give me a discount, but I don't think it was enough, considering I know for a fact they are charging me 3-4x the actual cost for the parts and then will eventually get more money back because of the cores. I text the number they text me with explaining my situation and there were no response. 2 phone numbers they text me from I left a text message, no response. That right there shows me that that they have poor communication skills. Communication was done with text. To be honest, I prefer real conversation with a person/company. After issues were identified, they were honest when explaining what was truly necessary versus what was simply a "nice to have". This is particularly helpful when you're on a budget as car repair costs can really add up quickly! I was able to schedule my car drop-off ahead of time, which was super convenient since their location is a bit cramped (right off the highway off-ramp next to Seafood Cartel). This made drop-off and pick-up so much smoother. Fair quotes, great communication, and trustworthy service all around. Recommended if you're in the Salt Lake, Aiea or Pearl City area! P.S. They also do safety checks! I was able to schedule an appointment ahead of time and they completed it within 15 minutes while I waited in their office.

They found a leak caused by a small nail, and they patched it up. Asked them if they could just check my other tire, and funny enough they found one there too. Got two tires patched and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. The pricing was very fair and felt it was worth bringing in for them to locate and repair. As someone that's also in the Waipahu area, this place is great for getting my tire services done.

Chris at JSP Auto Audio went above and beyond. I had some stereo issues and he found them right away right after I was ready to pick up the truck and fix them he stayed extra late for me. Had plenty of unwanted lines running through throughout the engine and undercarriage found them all pulled them all out. And then there was a small leak after I got home and it's after hours after 5 o'clock and he asked if he could come by right now and fix it. Would highly recommend Kriss at JSP Auto Audio to take care of any of your problems especially if you got a Chevy Toyota that's what he specializes in. Back to now, I bought a brand new truck so I had to give this place serious consideration. Emailed a few places but ended up back here. After talking with Ryan and thinking things over I went from planning on getting an amp, new front speakers and sub to installing the door speakers entirely, adding the amp with the option for a future sub install. I'm glad I went this route. The quality of sound I'm getting makes me debate if getting a sub is necessary. The wires are neatly ran and zip tied, I can appreciate this since I do a lot of network cabling and some low voltage work myself. The future subwoofer knob was mounted clean onto a vacant plate. It was not cheap and I have no buyers remorse. Great audio isn't cheap, and cheap audio isn't great.

When a crack appeared on the foam surround, I brought it back expecting help with a warranty claim. Before even looking at the sub, the owner muhammad, immediately dismissed me, claiming it must have been "hitting something." I explained there was more than enough clearance and invited him to take a look for himself. He walked outside, glanced at it for barely 5 seconds, and said, "Yeah, sorry, nothing we can do. Rockford has a different warranty than brands like Kicker. You could buy a new one though." Guess what? I reached out directly to Rockford Fosgate myself. Within 24 hours, Rockford inspected photos of the sub and fully approved the warranty replacement. Elite Audio couldn't even be bothered to do basic homework for a customer who already spent $1200 in their shop. They aren't interested in helping you after you walk out the door--just in selling you another unit. Take your money to a shop that actually backs what they sell, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!
