I brought my grandparents RAV for a new radio a while back. Had a good experience then. I had no issues with the install since, my family still uses it, and most important I have zero regrets getting it. Back to now, I bought a brand new truck so I had to give this place serious consideration. Emailed a few places but ended up back here. After talking with Ryan and thinking things over I went from planning on getting an amp, new front speakers and sub to installing the door speakers entirely, adding the amp with the option for a future sub install. I'm glad I went this route. The quality of sound I'm getting makes me debate if getting a sub is necessary. The wires are neatly ran and zip tied, I can appreciate this since I do a lot of network cabling and some low voltage work myself. The future subwoofer knob was mounted clean onto a vacant plate. It was not cheap and I have no buyers remorse. Great audio isn't cheap, and cheap audio isn't great. read more

When the stereo I originally had installed took a crap and it did so pretty much immediately after having it installed I decided I didn't want Best Buy touching my truck again.... I then brought it to mobile car audio. They rewired the whole truck stereo system because Best Buy put lighting wires in instead of wires for sound. These guys took on a very challenging job and nailed it for a little cheaper than their highest rated nearby competitors quoted. This was not a normal job...it required replacing the entire system (speakers, amp, head unit) and fabricating a harness so the new head unit will fit in a place it normally is not supposed to go! My husband's stock truck speakers finally started sounding very worn out after 9 years. He purchased new speakers and it sat in the house waiting for him to install...now that I'm driving his truck while he is out to sea, it needed to get done! I called Mobile Car Audio and they gave me open dates and times. Next day install was done within 2 hours and was charged very reasonably! I appreciated their help with getting this done and how efficiently they worked for the install! Their work was clean and it seemed like nothing changed except for the awesome quality of the new system they installed! Ms. Tracy at the counter was very responsive when the work was done. In fact, she gave accurate estimated time to complete even when they were backed up on installs. She also verified the speakers we purchased would fit properly. When the install was done, she showed us what the crew removed and asked if we wanted to keep and offered to toss for us. I highly recommend this place for your stereo needs! Ryan and Chris are phenomenal!!!! I actually came in for a license plate LED light installation. My car speakers and amp haven't sounded good for almost a year. I asked Ryan if he could take a look at my car speakers. My Alpine amp/sub for some reason was weak. Also my JL speakers were installed properly. I ended up getting everything new and replaced. I got all Rockford speakers and the Diamond amp/sub installed. I got there around 4:30pm. Ryan and Chris were so great and installed everything for me even though they were going to close. They were incredible with their customer service! They know what they're doing! Their quality is top notch! They spent 4 hours doing my installation and finished my car at 9:30pm! They stayed 3 & 1/2 hours just to do my car because i couldn't come in the next day! I gave them a cash tip each because they worked extremely hard! Ryan and his team (Tall Guy with Afro) did a very good job with the install. Clean and professional. Wires are hidden, Bass knob integrated into the dash, and amp mounted behind the back seat. For the quality work that was done the price made it even better. Needed a replacement remote for my viper alarm. First place I called is mobile car audio. He said to come by, so I did and didn't even take 45 min and I was on my way out with my replacement remote. He programmed it to work with my alarm and showed me how to override the alarm if I can't shut it off with my remote. I forget the guys name but he was really cool and very professional. Wow! Okay, where do I start. I've always been the type to find the best and cheapest deals wherever I go. I always want to save money and that definitely bit my ass this time. I had no knowledge in installing audio equipment into my car so I went to a guy who charged me real low for the labor cost (less than $100). As a result, he didn't know how to install my rear speakers, and completely messed up my dashboard while installing the double din, claiming I got the wrong dash kit and he even cracked my dashboard in the process. Due to this I wasn't happy, and I was able to find this place, Mobile Car Audio. Upon arriving to Mobile Car Audio, Joey did an amazing job in keeping me confident that the issue can be fixed. The prices were very reasonable, and in less than 2 hours, he got my double din issue resolved, and was able to install my two rear speakers with no problems at all. The guy is completely honest and you can tell he isn't in it for the money, he sincerely wants to help you out. Gives great advice and I enjoyed watching him fix and install my audio equipment. Even while I was there, they were kind enough to offer me a drink while I waited! If you have to install any type of audio equipments, stereos, etc. go to Mobile Car Audio. I DO NOT recommend going to a person/shop that charges installation fees for super low. I now believe in "you pay for what you get." Looking at the Yelp reviews, Mobile Car Audio seemed like an easy choice. I brought my wife's 2008 Prius in to have a new Apple Car Play installed. I could not have asked for a nicer experience in the initial contact. We talked about all the options, and settled on one that would work for us. This morning, we dropped the car off for the install. The installer (not sure who it was...might even have been Ryan), was concerned about the Prius dash with some well-known brittle sun-burned plastic issues, but thought it would be OK. We were home only a few minutes, and got a call that despite being "surgical" (as it was described) the first plastic vent broke, and we had to make some decisions. So we drove back, and looked over what our options were. The plastic vent was so brittle that a part broke in my hand like a corn chip. We understood that the other two vents would likely break, but went ahead with the install. Tracie (the famous Tracie always mentioned in the Yelp reviews) already had the needed parts on the computer screen, and was ready to take care of what we would want to do. We decided to defer to after the install, to see what survived being taken out. Despite a late start, we got the call that the car was ready for pick up earlier than we expected. They did a marvelous install, even the broken, brittle vents looked pretty good, but we know they have to be replaced (dang Toyota...over $700 for three plastic vents...are you serious???). My wife was given a full debrief on how to work the Car Play unit, but we were missing something we did not expect to need to bring from home to make it functional for the maiden voyage. ...that's when Tracie, without hesitation, fixed the issue for us by doing something unexpectedly kind. I won't share what she did for us, but let me emphasize it was really a kind thing to do. I am finding myself concocting reasons to go back to Mobile Car Audio to have something--anything--installed just for the customer service experience. Thanks to the entire crew. It really did feel like we just swung by our O'hana to have some help getting a car stereo installed. I cannot recommend them enough. read more

I've been searching for an alarm but MOST of the installers I've seen are young guys, 20 somethings. It's never good to hear someone say , "ahh...we'll figure it out". Most have never installed an alarm on the newer Corvettes. I spoke to Tracy here . NICE girl. When you meet her in store , the same, SUPER NICE. The reviews reflect their work and attitude. The installer took his time to make sure EVERYTHING is ok and not just "ok". He looked at the Corvette's schematic and went to work. I'm super happy. The parking lot is wide and install bay is wide not like some shops they squeeze in cars and parking lot is crammed. This is definitely the shop to go . You won't be disappointed. read more

Awe yeah!!! Called at lunch.....got a new stereo with speakers later in the afternoon. Can't beat that. The service was excellent. From start to finish. Very friendly, and really the most important thing....not pushy in anyway. I wanted to update my really old speakers in my ten year old car. After getting an education on wattage and the different ways I could go with my stereo system....I went with what I considered a full upgrade. My stereo was completely replaced with a new console kit, and my front, and rear speakers were replaced. I'm not into all the fancy gizmos or subwoofers. I just wanted something that could play music, and sound good. I got EXACTLY what I asked for, and could not be happier. When I have another car, and need an upgrade, going to these folks. It's been a good 11 years, but my deck decided to go crazy on me, stop working properly and you could tell my speakers put in some time as well. Anyways, fast forward, needed to get it replaced and I found mobile car audio and I am so glad I did. My original setup was from another audio shop, and it's nice that it lasted 11 years, however, I can still remember the service there. They were pushy on selling and trying to upsell and push extras on to make an easy buck. Luckily I was young and literally had a set budget to work with. But I've also been to and inquired with other audio shops and....same shit just different stores. But, that was not the case with mobile car audio. I went in and talked to Tracie, I explained my situation and that I don't plan to have the car for too much longer but I do need to want some music while I drive. She showed me there stock which was slightly limited, but didn't push it on me and actually suggested I look online for one and they'd be more than happy to help with the installation. So that's exactly what I did, went online, found one that'll work and for a deal too. I ordered it, got it, and went back to mobile car audio. Ended up wanting some new speakers also, but for those I just went through mobile car audio and it was still reasonable with installation. Tracie and her team got it installed, and my car definitely gave them some stress with the 11 ear old steering wheel control and sub I had, and I appreciate all the time and effort they put in to make sure everything was installed properly and showed me how to function everything before sending me on my way. If you are looking for new sounds or even a new alarm definitely come here! You won't regret it, they will work with you and provide you recommendations but you will never feel like you are being pushed to buy something. No services or products purchased but assisted in troubleshooting and left an amazing impression! My 08 Honda CRV randomly started going off even with it unlocked and the only way to diarm it was to turn on the ignition. I tried taking it to another "EXPRESS" alarm specialist down the road first where they just looked at my car as it was going off and just said "you need our alarm installed and it will override your factory alarm.. 250 dollars will take 2 hours" I asked them if there was any way to disarm my factory alarm or if there was anything else I could do and they just said no before I could finish my sentence. I felt making that kind of expensive decision quickly would be a bad idea so I took my car to Mobile Car Audio. I first initially called them and even though they were busy they still told me to come by so they could check it out. They were so welcoming and honestly I felt less stressed out just seeing them work so hard to troubleshoot my car. They told me that installing a car alarm over the factory one wouldn't necessarily fix the issue so I am happy that I didn't make the spur of the moment decision to install. They tried literally everything in the book and did research and tried looking for solutions on internet forums and any other trick to resolve my issue. Alas, my car must be haunted. After an hour of them trying to resolve my issue nothing could be done and they recommended me to take it into a Honda dealer since they would be my last hope. I felt reassured with his opinions and reccomendations and knew they were being honest and upright. I felt so relieved I didn't make a bad decision and pay 250 on another car alarm that probably wouldn't fix my issue. They didn't charge me for looking and troubleshooting but they left such a deep impression on me if I have any needs for car audio/alarms etc in the future I will reccomend and go to them.
