She even rescheduled my initial appointment when I needed to cancel (with notice). I showed up to my appointment 10 minutes early which gave us more time for the consultation. Once the appointment started, she told me she hasn't taken new clients in over a year because the wait for her existing clients became too long. I asked, "so how did I get here?" She said she didn't know and that maybe I just emailed her at the right time. When I left my appointment with frizzy hair (I guess she doesn't flat iron hair or normally work with curly hair) she told me I could reschedule a new appointment next season or next year, it's up to me... I'm sure she is far more friendly and helpful with her existing clientele. I'm also sure I won't be returning but that is probably alright with Amy.

She kept the length as much as she could while also taking off what needed to be refreshed. They were both so nice and we chatted away during the appointment. I am making another appointment in early August for a cut and color! I highly recommend you make an appointment to see these ladies. No walk-ins --- appointment only. No public restrooms. Right next to Dunkin Donuts. Plenty of parking and multiple chairs for multiple appointments at the same time.

What I love about her is the fact that she took her time checking my hair, how to achieve the color I want and the haircut I was aiming for. She did a hair test first before applying color all over my hair which all salons should really do first. Then she explained every process and how long will it take. I called in a couple of days prior to see if I can get an appointment with Pinky. Luckily she had availability the next week at a perfect time for me! I walked in and was greeted right away. It was a bit chaotic, but I was able to get a wash easily. Unfortunately once Pinky started combing thru my hair, she saw that there was still some residue of conditioner left, so we had to rinse again. No problem, though. Onto the cut- I told her exactly what I wanted, how many inches off, and showed her an inspo picture! She blew dried my hair and started styling and omgoodness, it was better than the inspo picture! I was genuinely so impressed by her work, I couldn't stop taking selfies! Pinky now has a loyal customer! Thank you so much for making me feel so glam!

My hair is also curly. Bleach & curls don't normally mix. Every time I've gotten it professionally done, my blonde breaks off, my hair is dry & the hairdressers are quick to whip out a paddle brush after washing without conditioner/cream which leads to my wet hair breaking and stretching. When I showed pictures to each hairdresser (chocolate brown with light ends), I always end up with bleach blonde highlights against my black hair. It was always the worst. I told myself I wasn't going to pay $400 anymore to come out looking worst. I took the chance with Janelle. She sat with me and talked about what I liked about each picture I sent, she recommended specific products she used (her line of products have left my hair so soft), & when I told her that my blonde usually breaks off and that it's dry... she gave me a specific plan to get my hair where it needed to be & she told me she would used Olaplex on each step to maintain the integrity. Most of all... Janelle used a wide tooth COMB to de-tangle my hair and used a leave-in conditioner WITHOUT me saying ANYTHING!!! She was so gentle with my curls. It really let me know she cares and is conscious of curly hair & the patience it takes. Lastly, after I left... my hair was immediately healthier and more manageable. I didn't think that was possible. Janelle mentioned she will gradually go lighter to ensure no breakage & that if I wanted, I could go months without coming back based on how she colored it. My goal is lighter, so I will be going back within a few weeks using her curly hair plan. I will always recommend Janelle for my curly hair girls & I am so happy that I found her!

The contrast was significantly noticeable. She simply stated to me I don't like putting bleach on client's hair. Then proceeded to get worse. I asked her to blow dry my hair. She said I have a client so I can't don't want them to wait. After this horrible experience I telephoned the manager and explained the situation. She offered me to come in to fix my hair free of charge. When I arrived it was a completely different story! Said it was a different service and proceeded to charge me $200 to fix another stylists mistake! I honestly just wanted it to be fixed because I am going out of town for my son's college graduation. Should have never been charged in the first place, now I am out $200 which will never be refunded! Needless to say I will never step foot in there salon again. Now tasked with the headache of finding a new stylist!
