I really like this place, the beer is cold, the food is good, it is unexpectedly good as I would have thought that this was a bar with a restaurant, not a restaurant with a bar. There is a difference. The food here would be good with or without the throngs of people. The bands they get are also top notch. My buddy Paul Scheb plays here from time to time and it is generally packed when I am there. It's a good kind of packed. Mainly there is a lot of younger people there but I have never been hassled. In fact everyone there seems happy, laid back and ready for a good time. It's a nice vibe. The bartenders are quick with a drink. They poured a good pint Guinness. The bathrooms can get beat up, but like I said it is packed, so this is expected. I obviously have not been in the ladies room, so that may be a different story. The place is well managed and my only regret is that it is a little bit of a distance from me. Not too far, just not too close, if I lived around the corner it would be my weekly haunt. read more

You have to be "in" with the staff. I live one block away for ten years. Every time I go in.... I get treated like garbage( maybe 4x) . And I went to bartending school and work in the restaurant industry. I'm from Media which is a bar walking town. Zero problems. But this place takes your money off the bar if you go 6-pack shopping with your jacket still on the chair. I have never had a good experience. read more

Very nice friendly neighborhood bar. I got a Brewski Cheesesteak. Not on the menu. They were nice enough to make their famous Brewski Burger as a cheesesteak. It comes with fried onions, bacon, mushrooms, cheddar and spicy mayo. I liked it. I forget which beer I got, Kimberly picked it and I liked it. $5.50, I really liked that. Friendly, chatty bar. This place is in what used to be Thomas'. In my quest on St Patrick's Day for a semi-authentic Irish meal, I decided to give them a try hearing that they had a special menu on that day. From what I gather, this place is a pretty basic Delco style place. They have a healthy bar, but they seem to be attempting to have a decent menu as well. There are a couple of Irish themed dishes along with pub fare. I was mildly impressed with the selection. On this day, I chose an item that was only on the special menu for the day, bangers and mash. I figured that it would be a test. If they cared enough to find a decent plate of bangers, I'll know they are somewhat serious about being an eating destination. To the new management of this establishment, I officially say mission accomplished! It was a very tasty plate that went well with a pint of Guinness. I don't know how good the rest of the menu is, but I do think they deserve a shot. read more

Love this local bar. The people are very friendly and there's always a variety of interesting folks at the bar. The bar menu is great with plenty of appetizers and sandwiches to choose from. Daily specials also help to keep expenses down. Love that they have Dogfish Head 60 min on tap as well as Stella. The bartender Bridget pours an excellent Guiness. Live music on the weekends is a plus too. My only reason for giving this bar 3 stars is the fact that it is a smoking bar. It is terrible on the weekends and sometimes even during the week. Despite open doors and air systems, you still leave smelling awful. I wish they would just nix the smoking and this place would be just the perfect neighborhood bar. read more

I like the bar we go here all the time usually but last night the bartender had an attitude with me and my friend's from the start as if we did something wrong by being there. I walked into the bar with my face mask a lil under my nose and she says hey you you know better can you pull it up please. I respond back my names Jordan call me Jordan and proceed to do as she asked. I go back to sit down and the security guards are kicking us out. I had just walked back to my table and gave nobody any problems the whole time. I didn't get loud with anyone or smart with anyone or say anything rude back to anyone. I asked the security guards what we did and my friend say yeah he hasn't done anything he's been chilling the whole time. They proceed to walk us out the door. Especially being two black guys I felt especially discriminated against and embarrassed. read more

Don't come here if you wanna feel comfortable or welcomed. Also it's disgusting. I was here on a Sunday with two friends and was harassed by two bouncers & an older bar tender who continued to tell me that I was lying about my ID when I told them I was very much of age they called me liar, asked for second form of ID. The bar tender even had the nerve to threaten me saying "you're lucky you're a Prendie girl".. lucky for what, lady? I am 21!!! I told the bouncer how uncomfortable he was making me & he said "I don't really care about your comfort" as a 21 year old female out with two other female friends of mine that isn't something you would wanna hear either. I have never in my life been so uncomfortable or felt so harassed; i wanted to cry. I will never again go this hole in a wall bar. Great news though- the new Irish pub in Drexel Hill is absolutely AMAZING!! But as far as this place goes, throw it in the garage and find a new bar. You guys should be ashamed. read more

I frequent this place often. It's my go-to bar and I love it. The food is always good and the drinks are steady. The prices are cheap and the bartenders are friendly and know what they're doing. If you're walking in expecting a five star dining experience, you're going to be disappointed. It's a BAR. A BAR in Delco. I think given those circumstances, JTs exceeds expectation. It's always a good time and since the expansions is a nicer. You can smoke here but I don't notice the smokiness as others have commented. They try to put the fans on or open a window or two if it's nice to circulate the air. I have no complaints, I love this place. read more

I was at this bar on Sunday and if I could give this place no stars I would. I was out with 2 of my friends and we were harassed by the staff the ENTIRE time we were there. They continued to say my friend was under 21 because she was short and small. She showed them her police badge and multiple forms of ID and they even scanned her ID and still insisted it was fake. when she asked if the police could come to determine if it was real or fake they said no. They also told her they don't care if she's uncomfortable or not. As a young female and with everything going on that made me very uncomfortable. The lady at the bar even threatened her saying "be happy you graduated from prendie" what could that possibly mean? Also no one was wearing masks. Definitely will never come here again. we are taking legal action at this point in time. It's completely disgusting here and they don't care about young females it's very sad. Nice bar however one of the owners pretty much lives there is constantly drunk, cannot see this being a plus for business, there are many occasions where there are toddlers running around the bar, which makes for an uncomfortable setting. The staff is great except for a few that bring their problems to work and take it out on the patrons. The only reason I am giving this two stars instead of one is because they sometimes have amazing top shelf Bloody Mary's on Sunday's. That said, Sunday is the worst day to go because you will be forced to listen to "What's New Pussycat", "Mama Mia" and Abba's greatest hits the entire time you are in the bar. I had to listen to "What's New Pussycat" three times in a row before I played music to make it stop. As soon as my first song ended, "What's New Pussycat" played again for another four times in a row. The one owner there thinks it's funny to torture everyone. What's worse is that he actually uses his own money to play these songs and will force his songs over yours just to keep the same songs playing on repeat to drive everyone crazy. I couldn't even enjoy my food while I was there. My last visit was the worst. So bad that I will probably not go back. My Bloody Mary tasted like dish soap and my BLT was not toasted and completely soggy. I was gagging trying to eat and drink my lunch all while having my ears raped by audial diarrhea. Screw this place! I hope the bar goes bankrupt. This is no way to treat customers! read more

I always have a good time at this place on a friday night. Management is super friendly and my bacardi and diets are very reasonably priced. Try the fried pickles! They are awesome! A good spot to go after work with some of the girls. Only downfall is the smoking. I'm not a smoker and all of my friends are so I end up leaving stinking like an ashtray. read more

Horrible place for holding any kind of function. Service is shared with bar patrons. You have to run after them to get their attention and even then it might take awhile to get what you need. Also you don't get much food and need to remind them to refill it when its gone! Trust me they want to give you minimun. Hello Nice. Big open space. Very roomy. Friendly atmosphere. Staff is very nice. They felt like friend hanging out, that take care of your every need. Me & my Best friend Jay hung out there after a friend performed At a Comedy club in Philly. We got "Wings" . They were great. They were't drenched with hot sauce. They were crispy & tasty. I got a Jack & Ginger. Jay got a beer. We kicked back and enjoyed the rest of the night. 2nd time my fiancé dropped us off. We walked home cause it was a nice night. It was funny. It reminded us of old times when we were younger, doing the let's sing out Loud in the streets as we walk home @ 2 am. lol We have been back there about 5 times since that day. Seen Tommy Conwell... Absolutely TERRIBLE. Will never eat here again. Called in an order for pick up, their menu online hasn't been updated and EVERYTHING I ordered was either gone or changed. Finally figured out our order picked up and went back home. Realized they gave me bone in wings instead of boneless which I was certain to specify, I ordered the Bavarian pretzel which was literally COVERED in salt (I love salt and this was even way too much for me) and this is supposed to come with a side of cheese.. probably the tiniest cup of cheese ever, no where near enough for even half of this pretzel. The mac and cheese balls were so so but pretty greasy and pricey if you ask me. Overall too expensive for poor quality food and experience/service. Save your time and money. read more

A great place with 2 bars. It has a big dance floor, gaming area and tables with chairs for a chance to rest your feet. A real good sound system and the best bar tenders in town. It also has about 6 refridgerators where you can find your favorite drink to go. Parking gets tight but there is a big parking lot right across the street, within a 2 minute walk. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because of the smoking the bar. This bar would be the spot for myself and a lot of others I know but the smoking in the bar is a major turn off.
