You can order pizza and eat it at the bar or pub tables in the bar area, very convenient. At the bar I ordered a beer and immediately left a 55% tip. I walked next door with my beer to order my pizza. The young male was pleasant when he took my order. I told him I would be at the bar. 15 minutes later he was nice to deliver it. Back to the bar staff. I sat for another 30 minutes eating two slices of the pizza never once did she ask if I wanted another drink. While she poured several drink refills for the couple directly next to me. I don't know about you but I really need beer to wash down my pizza well maybe not need. LOL. The bar was dark with heavy wood throughout, the walls were decorated with local memorabilia. It appears to be two floors maybe the upper is for special events? I'll never know I'm sure! As for the pizza it was very good. When hot it was off the hook delicious no bitter sauces but a nice balance of cheese and toppings. As it got colder is was good but hot it's GREAT!!! There is a large parking lot making it convenient. The outdoor space has many tables and fire pits, and lots of turf to make it more cozy. While they didn't have anything while we were there, there was also a stage which sometimes has Irish dancing and other entertainment under a large outdoor tent. There are also outdoor TVs. The indoor space looks decent too, but we only popped our heads in - seems like a typical bar type setup with a festive crowd. We chose our own outdoor seats since they weren't busy, and were quickly brought waters and menus. We ordered the Bavarian pretzel, and opted to split a roast pork sandwich. (Sadly, I was too hungry and didn't snap pics of that part). The pretzel is huge and came with mustard and cheese -- overall, the perfect soft pretzel. Good thing we decided to split the sandwich because it was also huge. Flavor was good and we were both satisfied. Simple presentation and no fuss - kind of what we expected with the name Yard Pub. The beer I got wasn't great, nor were their options, so keep that in mind. Overall, the service was friendly and we found our meal and experience to be exactly what we were looking for. There were 7-8 inside, and 3-4 in the outdoor area. Every seats got a view making it a great place to catch a game. We sat at the bar and the other patrons were all friendly, as well as the staff. The bartenders were well versed in soccer, and many of the patrons were tuned into the game too, but some just came for drinks and food. They have a nice selection of beers handy and the menu had a surprising number of good options. I finally went with the burger and am so glad I did! It was absolutely gorgeous and cooked a perfect medium. My first bite and I knew it was a fresh patty. I asked if they made them in house but they actually get them from Wells, a Philly staple for good meats. Came with an ample portion of shoestring fries which were hot and crisp. Great flavor, good heat, chicken extending far past the bun a win for me. For him, not so much. His omelet was on the small side, and favors were lacking. His side of scrapple thin - his toast unbuttered. Nothing worthy of complaining or sending back but definitely not like omelettes that we are used to getting.
