Came here on a Wednesday after work. Sat in the bar area. Beautiful restaurant and bar. Could tell many people were there after work but we were disappointed to see no happy hour specials. Drinks were amazing but pricey. Food was delicious. We will be back but would probably return more if happy hour specials became a thing

Pulled pork with long hots and melted provolone. Side of perfectly cooked fries.

Was in Malvern for a work trip and we stopped in here for lunch. Awesome selection of beers and a menu with great sandwich options. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a no frills spot with great food and ambiance.

We're visiting from out of State. We found The Flying Pig by accident. Took a wrong turn and got lost. Turned out it was the BEST thing that happened. It's absolutely awesome ambiance, atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious! We are beyond happy with the entire experience. We will definitely be recommending this hidden gem to everyone we know coming to Malvern or anywhere near here!

A fun place in Malvern. Went here on a Saturday night, it was pretty busy. It definitely feels like more of a bar than a restaurant but they have plenty of tables and a pretty sizable food menu. They were unfortunately out of some of the items on the menu. I had a buffalo chicken wrap which was pretty good. Staff was super friendly and service was great. Would definitely go back.

Stopped in for lunch over a weekend visit to the area. Neighborhood bar with a vast tap selection. I don't drink but if you're a drinker you'd likely find something you liked as the choices were abundant. I got the Barnyard sandwich and the food was excellent. Everyone in our 7 person group enjoyed their food. Service was adequate but definitely on the slower side. Atmosphere was a loud bar, so if you like a quiet meal...this isn't the place. Would eat here again though as the food was amazing.

    Spicy cheese fries

We came here to grab a drink and grab a bite to eat. We tried a few appetizers: the spicy cheese fries, the potstickers, and the jalepeño poppers. I think the fries were my favorite (I combined the spicy fries and the cheese fries on the menu). It's a pretty neat bar. I loved the decor -- there are flying pigs everywhere. There's a large drink selection. Plenty of beer options, but others as well (like cider). This is a good place to grab a drink, but I'd probably go elsewhere for food. It seemed like pretty standard bar food. We would have stayed longer, but it was a nice day and we wanted to go somewhere that we could sit outside.

Staff was very rude. Bartenders kicked everyone out early while many people still had full drinks.

Cute place with a lot of ambience and friendly people. Our dinner was delicious but I think the draw was their beer selection.

If you time it right, it's fine. If you don't, enjoy wandering around awkwardly with a beer while hunting for a seat that does not exist. I've definitely bailed a couple times after realizing I'd have better luck finding parking in Center City. Beer is... fine. Nothing life-changing, but there's enough variety to keep you from complaining too much. Usually a couple decent IPAs--I've been into Coastal Quest lately, so there's that. Food? Also fine. Specials? Also... fine. But credit where credit's due: the Italian Grinder Pizza actually fantastic! RIP Happy Hour beer deals, which is a choice I will continue to side-eye. Bombers still exist, though, so I guess we take the small wins. Real talk: this should be a 3-star place. BUT--the staff absolutely carries it to a 4. They're fast, friendly, somehow remember your name and drink, and will magically find you a seat when the place looks like a human traffic jam. Also always down to chat when it's slow, which makes you feel like a regular even if you're not. So come for the convenience, stay because the staff is awesome, and just emotionally prepare yourself for the 5pm chaos.

Ordering is easy enough up at the bar and you can get both food and drinks from the bartender. Food came out relatively slowly for the fairly muted crowd of people, but came out as it was ready so nothing was cold. We got nachos, smash burgers, and a brat. The nachos were pretty bad. They use nacho cheese on them and a lot of it so you wind up with just a goopy pile that's incredibly messy. The "smash burgers" were just regular burger patties that were cupped pretty badly so I'm guessing they were just frozen and thrown on the cook top. Beers were all solid, as you would expect from Sly Fox. I would probably go back again for drinks, but skip the food.

It is a tiny building but they are doing it right! There is complimentary valet parking which was great because I have no idea where we would have parked. We were seated at exactly 4:30, and our server was friendly and fast. RJ and I ordered Downeast Peach Mango Cider which was refreshing and delicious. We started with crab and artichoke dip and beef and weck eggrolls, and our table ordered 2 fish and chips, the "Luxury" seafood pie, shepherd's pie, and the beef on weck sandwich. My weck included onions, mushrooms, swiss, and bacon with a side of au jus and horseradish. Yum, what a salty, savory, spicy combo. The roast beef was very tender and juicy. The fish and chips were all enjoyed, as were both pies. We did not make it to dessert but will try that again another time. We were in and out in about 1 hour without being rushed at all. We will definitely return to the Whip!
