I repeatedly met with flooring people that I felt wouldn't work to my very high standard or made suggestions that were to make their job easier, not accomplish the sophisticated look I wanted. From the moment I scheduled the in home appointment with Joan. It felt right. I received a call to confirm our appointment and I knew they would show up and respect my time. Appointment time and Phil shows up just as scheduled in a really cool retro varsity company jacket. I true professional, very polite and knowledgeable. I explained that I wanted the two layers of existing floor removed and the sub-floor repaired and leveled out. I also let him know that I despise molding where the floor and walls meet and I want the flooring cut perfectly to the edges so the gap could be closed with a small bead of caulk. THIS IS WHERE I LOST EVERY OTHER INSTALLER. Everyone else didn't want to do this type of precise install. What does Phil say? Not a problem we have a team of expert installers and this is all they do. They will receive exact instructions and it won't be a problem. Phil shows me a bunch of floors and I write down everything to do my research. Phil follows up with a text to see if I need anything else? I told him I just need some time. I spend the next two weeks figuring out what I want and never got any sales pitches or other nonsense. I knew he was just a text away if I had any questions. He just let me have my time to figure out what I want to do. I really appreciated that. When I was ready and contacted him he said I could go to the store and set it all up with Joan. I walk in to see Joan and there she was in a company branded sweatshirt, very professional and easy to talk to. We confirmed the flooring I wanted and the price I was quoted. I asked about the particulars of my install and she showed me the instructions right on the order. I left the deposit and got a call 2 weeks later everything is in, and we are ready to schedule the install. Like clockwork the installers showed up on time and got right to work. I had Alex and two twin brothers. Everyone was super nice to be around and worked really hard. Each of the 4 Days there was a substantial amount of work accomplished. I honestly couldn't be happier. I love the new floors and now I have a flooring company I can trust. This is an amazing small business that feels awesome to support and gives the attention to detail others refuse. A true 5 star review for a true 5 star business.

Gave him my email to send me payment. They picked up rug April 12. I got no email for deposit payment. So I called 8 days later saying what happened to deposit payment? And why does the customer have to call and ask where is the deposit being paid too. Fine I sent $200 deposit. Now it's May 12th and no word on my rug. So again I have to call and ask where is my rug? Communication is not a strong attribute of this cleaning service. So now rug is ready to deliver in my new apartment. Timing was essential because right after rug the bedroom set was being delivered. So workers dropped off rug on Sunday morning. And now same guy that says he needed deposit when he picked up rug. He wants to charge me for deposit again. I said no way! And literally had to show him email receipt of deposit paid. Now I did not pay attention to look at rug until right before delivery of bedroom set. And what do I see? THE RUG IS NOT 100% CLEAN. I was like wtf? I paid $550 for a partially cleaned rug. My rug is a Super Kashan model Ivory. (See pic) you can see difference between top and middle. Top is ivory and looking towards middle it's still dirty. Unreal! Secondly I was not going to waste my time with these idiots. Literally would have no place to keep new queen size bedroom set in one bedroom apartment. And imagine having to move bedroom set breaking my back because a cleaning company can't clean a rug. What are they blind? I trusted their work based on reviews but boy was that a mistake. Wish there was zero stars. Because they deserve zero for this failure. I would NEVER recommend this company. My advice would be go to Home Depot and rent a machine. YouTube also shows you how to clean it your self.

I can't say enough about Buono's…read more I had heard good things about the company from other folks in my building, as well as on Yelp, and from the first moment I requested a quote through Yelp, Lou Buono was responsive, courteous, and an actual pleasure to communicate with. If you've worked with a lot of folks in the trades, this is very much the exception to the rule, and as such I was pleasantly surprised. Lou quickly got back to me with a very reasonable quote, and once we agreed on the details and a date, we were off and running. We had some damage and discoloration on our white oak floors, and we wanted to sand and refinish them. Lou was helpful as we got together the paperwork my building required to get it done. On the agreed upon day, his guys showed up on time, and while they weren't the excellent communicators that he is (their English wasn't great), they were conscientious and obviously knew what they were doing. Lou said the work would take 1-2 days, and they were done in just a day. We had a minor hiccup after the fact, but Lou immediately investigated the issue, and handled it well. I'll definitely be going straight to Buono's next time I need any flooring work done.

I am crushed that I have to change my review. I checked with other craftsmen. Angel allowed for his…read morepeople to butcher my floors and explain it away. I learned later, with other craftsmen, that with correct tools and consideration of my desired outcome, it was not necessary to butcher my floors on their edges. This flooring company tore my floor up. I did try to go cheap so I went with them. I did not know that when we negotiated price, I negotiated away the sealant ti protect floors and allowance to butcher my floors. I was told back/forth 2/3 coats on floor. With/without sealant? Angel said 2 coats sealant. Soon dirt is well in the grains of wood. I know because I can see where a rectifying area was made with the sealant compared to everything that sticks with floor. I have question is it the @Bona #Bona product. My first rodeo. Fixing will cost me an entire 675 sq new floor. It aches my heart. I don't have that kind of money and I wanted a nice outcome. If I had been informed more, I would have work harder to have paid more instead to spend so much more now fix in a few years after I save to do it. Why are workers not honest?!!!! Please inform the consumer the cost of cutting price. I have regrets that will cost me now to redo and seal my floors, and more, if I want to resume my useable sq ftg because you ate it away to close the gaps you butchered. Please do not do this to another customer again. Just be honest even if you don't get the job. I am so hurt.

I pre-ordered my carpet expecting a quick install and had to wait 2 years because the closing of my place was delayed and they held the carpet for me and did the install after i finished renovations. Lovely people work there and some of the hardest working crew. the price was amazing for the quality of the carpet. it was soft and plush just like i wanted. Hope i don't have to install again for at least 10 years but if i do i will be using them in the future.
