There was some minor issues but the most glaring was the check engine light. David said the issues would be taken care of, go to lunch and come back in a couple of hours. He called me and said they needed a part that would not be there until Monday. David paid for my flight home and said the truck would be shipped to me. I received the truck late the next week. When driving from where I received the truck, the check engine light came on. I notified him of this issue and he said to have it fixed locally and he would reimburse me. It has been several months and many texts and calls and still no reimbursement. Up until this point, David lived up to his word but I am extremely disappointed to have to write a partial negative review due to not receiving this promised reimbursement. In addition, the check engine issue took two times to resolve, the second requiring an additional cost which I decided to absorb thinking I would get the promised reimbursement. In closing, David did live up to his word on everything until this reimbursement issue so I can't give a 5 star review due to this

Car was filthy at delivery and felt like an absolute scam. For a 2024 vehicle with a "minor" collision reported on the CarFax, it had both front and rear repairs that look like someone did it in there garage. Cracked headlight that I noticed had some condensation. Removed front bumper cover to find bondo and screws holding things together. Removed rear bumper to find wiring for blind spot detection haphazardly thrown in there (hence the blind spot detection issues). In hindsight, spend the extra at a reputable dealership to avoid shoddy repair surprises.

After arriving at the dealership, I was informed the vehicle was actually not certified and only had around 500 miles remaining on the factory warranty. Despite that, the pricing remained consistent with what would typically be expected for a certified vehicle, and I was then encouraged to purchase an additional $3,000 extended warranty instead. As a buyer, that was extremely disappointing and felt misleading. On top of that, several promises made during the sales process were not properly followed through on, including the tint request. Communication throughout the process was poor, and expectations were not clearly managed. The vehicle also was not thoroughly detailed before delivery, as I am still finding personal belongings and food debris from the previous owner under the seats and floor mats. I want to be clear that my frustration is more with the dealership process than with any one individual employee. However, attention to detail, transparency, and follow-through are exactly why customers choose Sewell and pay Sewell-level prices. While I did end up getting the car I wanted I came in expecting exceptional service and a true Certified Pre-Owned buying experience, and unfortunately left with neither.

Took my car in for a recall and naturally they found a couple things to charge me for. They quoted me $2,400.00 for a leaking motor mount. After looking up costs, found out the typical charge to replace motor mounts is between $550.00 and $750.00. Called then back to cancel and the service advisor was adamite that I have it done at the dealership. When informed of the normal market price, she wanted me to make an offer on the service. Obviously, they inflate the cost and unless you call them out; they will rip you off all day long. At the tender age of 77, I replaced the motor mounts myself in my garage for a total cost of $75.00 in about 6 hours. No, not a factory BMW part. Why They don't last over 40k miles. Why replace one headache with another? Bet a factory trained technician with hoist, tools, n help can do the same in less than 2 hours. Not that hard. $2,400.00? The kicker is they were unaware I was planning on replacing the car, buying a new BMW on the same trip. My service experience changed that. Beware of their predatory service tactics. Denny
