We were staying at the hotel, so just dropped in. We were so glad we did! I ordered the sirloin steak medium rare and it was the best steak I have ever had. The waiter was attentive without being overbearing. I had a salad and baked potato to accompany the steak. Also perfect. We also had cocktails that were made perfectly! I will go out of my way to come here again.

Sad romaine salad with over cooked beef.

Thursday evening. Didn't have restaurant reservations so I ate in the bar downstairs. Got a table but no chair. It was awkward standing there waiting for well over 10 minutes. Another newly seated patron brought me their extra chair. Very loud but whatever. Service was slow but friendly enough. The small bar was busy and only had the one bartender/server. Was really imagining slices of the medium-rare local steak I ordered. This salad was about as meh and not rare as they come. I mean, look at it. Kinda sad nearly well-done Cubed steak over almost only romaine. Tiny bits of carrot strings and cucumber. A bunch of croutons. Dressings weren't so great either. And pretty expensive at $25! Not even close to worth $35 for salad and a beer. I think this place is normally pretty good. The restaurant upstairs looked pretty nice. My experience was just mediocre, at Best. Do reservations if you want to try their steak. And hopefully go on a night when there's a chef that knows what medium rare means.

A happy and very satisfied customer from California!

Loved this steakhouse. Wanted to go to the 'best restaurant in town' and my friends brought me here. Our waitress was very kind & patient and seemed pleased to serve us. Started off w a delicious side salad w yummy bleu cheese dressing. Then it came time to order- we were torn between all the amazing steaks so we decided to each try a different one. From the largest steak on the menu (rib eye) to the filet mignon to the 8 oz sirloin everything was cooked to perfection! I think the steaks tasted extra good because they come straight from their own cattle ranch. I was blown away by the juiciness of the steaks and how they were simply melt in your mouth delicious. The loaded mashed potatoes were delicious although I also would've loved some gravy! :) ** please do my friend a favor and ORDER THE SCALLOPED POTATOES!!! She insists these are the best ever made! I'll be back, JT's!!

I really enjoyed dining here. I was very impressed by the quality of the local steaks and the service was excellent. I really enjoyed the blueberry mojito. It was very refreshing! The bread that they brought out was pretty stale and cold so I'd skip eating that. The crust on the filet mignon was perfect and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. It was one of the best steaks I've ever had! It came with two sides and I decided to get the Mac n' Alfredo and the sauce was made in house and was very delicious and filling. The crème brûlée had a great flavor and a nice sugar crust but it was a very odd texture. It was almost as if tapioca or bread pudding was added to it. I'd definitely recommend coming here especially for the local steaks!

We love going to JT's. Always good, consistent, and I am obsessed with that Mac'n Alfredo. So yummy! Next time I want to try their loaded potato with the mac and steak. We also went to breakfast this morning, and we ordered the biscuits and gravy bowl and French toast, both excellent!

New York Strip, Alfredo-Mac and mashed potatoes.

Ate here on a work trip and it was decent. The New York Strip was tender but almost too tender if that makes sense. Had a strange texture so I wouldn't get it again. The sides were better, the Mac-Alfredo was the best part of the meal so if I ate here again I would just get that most likely. The wait steady is really good though and very friendly. They made me a cocktail off the non alcohol menu but I had them make it with vodka and it was great. Maybe I'm used to higher end steakhouses but the atmosphere being insure a tiny casino with smoke filtering in and hotel rooms 5 feet from the restaurant entrance was not ideal.

Two New York strip dinners, both with brussel sprouts, one w/ baked potato and other Mac and Alfredo

Mind you, we are all natural born American citizens who speak two languages. I understand that children can be loud at times, but no one deserves to be spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a meal. Therefore I was disrespectful back, and while I understand two wrongs don't make a right, the restaurant acknowledged the situation but did not do anything about it. What was most disappointing was not the behavior of the other patron, it was the restaurant's response. The staff apologized, but no one stepped in to de-escalate the situation or address the customer's behavior. Instead, I felt like the only option was to leave after addressing the patron myself. I wasn't expecting anyone to take sides, but I did expect management to ensure that all guests could dine without being harassed. A simple intervention or request for the other customer to stop would have gone a long way. I hope the restaurant reviews how situations like this are handled in the future so that families and other guests feel supported and safe. This happened on 08.04 at about 6:30 pm.

The food truck is set right in the middle of the cabins that the owners also run, and the whole setup has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There are two small patio areas where you can sit outside, rest after hiking, and enjoy the mountain air while eating something fresh and comforting. Sandra herself was an absolute pleasure to talk to. She shared parts of her story with me, a story of immigration, resilience, hard work, and success that genuinely warmed my heart. You can feel that this business was built with determination, hope, and a lot of love behind it. The food was excellent. We ordered chips and salsa, pork street tacos, and a chicken salad, and everything tasted fresh and homemade, care came through in every bite. Simple, authentic, sincere food done really well. After days of standard road-trip meals, this felt refreshing and personal in the best way. Overall, if you are in Baker after hiking or exploring Great Basin National Park, this is absolutely worth stopping for. Good food, kind people, and the kind of small business story that reminds you why local places matter.

The restaurant is located inside the hotel, but has its own walkway entrance from street side. Traditional original old school interior, has a certain charm to it, nothing fancy but clean, comfortable and plenty of space around you. This eatery is family run and operated, and the service is friendly and kind. I had several different family members wait on me or stop by my table to check on me during my meal and visit. I opted for the Chili Rellenos, a pair of beautifully prepared cheese filled rellenos with rice and beans, along with a lemonade. Served with a basket of house chips and two salsas. My entree was very good, the pablanos were nicy prepared and stuffed and breaded in a traditional manner. Flavorful and well seasoned, a solid choice if I like rellenos, this is a good plate. I enjoyed my meal at a relaxed pace and made to feel at home while there. A fair price with good service. Worth a visit and your support. 4 Stars recommended 01019

I started with dinner menu item # 8, 2 Chile Rellenos with flower tortillas, beans, and red rice. They serve bottled beer and drinks so I chose a Negro Modelo. For my second coarse I ordered the Chicken Mole. The mole sauce was wonderful. This time I chose the corn tortillas. I had a second beer. This is a family run business which has been here since 2023. I would recommend you stop for lunch or dinner as you travel along the loneliest highway in America. After your meal you can walk up and down the Main Street of Eureka and see this old western town.
