Some bait and switch action... the cheese dip I ordered ($6) vs the cheese dip I received

We live and drive by this restaurant, and finally decided to try it. It did not disappoint. It is an elevated version of Chipotle. You order at the counter and get a number to place at your table (where they bring the food). We got the kids a quesadia to share and it came out really fast and hot. I ordered the Loco bowl and it was huge and so filling! The toppings and fillings were the perfect combination and there was tons of steak in the bowl!

Service was great ! Very friendly and helpful the food was tasty but my burrito was filled with rice and a couple of small pieces of Al pastor sadly paid $10 for rice and a flour tortilla . $1.00 for a small sour cream too . . My dad got the steak bowls with rice etc also hardly any meat small pieces of steak and a lot of rice .

Great food at fast food prices! This our go-to restaurant and it doesn't break the budget. You can't go wrong with the shrimp tacos, but almost everything I've tried has been great.

Juan Loco is a wonderful spot for casual tacos and burritos in Cornelius. The menu includes a wide variety of tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas and even fries. I ordered the Pastor burrito, and I really liked it! The burrito was large and stuffed with rice, beans, very tasty and tender pork and even a little bit of pineapple. There's really something for everyone on the menu--- options inside include fish, shrimp, chicken, and veggies. I think everyone can find something here. They also give you a tasty basket of chips with a really delicious tasking chipotle sauce. I only wish the basket of chips was larger The atmosphere is really fun. They've done a great job at making this place festive and unique. There's a mix of bench style booths and tables. Even though this place is casual, I would say this is a great place to hang out with friends and family. Giving 4 stars because this place is really quite good, but still not my favorite casual Mexican restaurant in the area. However, it did give my rankings a run for my money.

My husband had I visited Juan Loco shortly after they opened. We've been to their sister site, Burrito Loco in Mooresville, and were hoping the food would be just as good as BL. News flash - it is! I ordered the fish tacos, and my husband had the Chori Pollo Burrito. They give you free chips, salsa, and guacamole while you wait. The chips were so light and crispy, and the salsa had just the right amount of heat. The guacamole serving was generous and outstanding! You get two fish tacos with the order, both with double tortillas. These aren't just any standard corn tortilla out of a bag, either. They heat them up on the griddle, and fill them generously with whatever you choose. I had a reasonable-sized piece of fish in each, along with the perfect accompaniments of cabbage, pico, and poblano tartar sauce. These tacos were outstanding! My husband's burrito was huge and also nicely filled. It had just the right amount of heat from the chorizo. Service was friendly and efficient. Even though they are a new restaurant, they likely benefit from being a sister to Burrito Loco, as they were a smoothly-operating business. We'll definitely be back!

First time trying this place as I received it as one of my offline offers. Has a lot of space and the menu is very interesting so it was hard for me to choose. The hot dogs definitely sounded interesting but that is not what I was here for. Decided to try the chicken taco-they have them for $2 daily, chicken, steak or chorizo. It was cooked well and was pretty flavorful. After standing there staring at the menu forever I decided to go with with Loco Bowl. It was just ok for me. I was expecting more flavor and spice. The steak was chopped up pretty small and I kept getting hard pieces of rice. Definitely wouldn't order again. The meal also came with chips and salsa. Also just ok for me. The chips has a nice crunch but they tasted a little like the grease they were cooked in was old. The salsa also didn't have much flavor. May try again when I'm in the area.

This was my second visit to Juan Loco. I came here today with my friend and it was her first time. The manager is so nice and attentive. He took our order and made a few recommendations! I really enjoyed the quesadillas and loco tacos on my last visit so I definitely wanted that again. The meat is well seasoned and well marinated. The chips are made fresh on-site as well. They have daily specials including $2 tacos everday from 11am-3pm. What we ordered: Chili Chorizo dog Taco Loco Quesabirria Arrachera Quesadilla Jarritos Everything was Amazing and there was plenty of seating, great customer service and affordable prices. Also there is free parking!

If you like tacos, these are some of the best I've had. So very flavorful. My companion had the burrito and it was even better than my chorizo tacos. I'll get that next time. You'll order at the front, and they'll bring your food out to you. It is very quick. Each order comes with chips and salsa, but be sure to get some of the queso dip. It is made with either Velveeta or American cheese, but still so good! The salsas are fresh and delicious, the chips are also fresh and warm. We were seriously full, but had to try the sundae with the churros. We shared one with both caramel and chocolate sauce which was heavenly. What a wonderful way to end the meal. Prices are reasonable, food is delicious, service was quick. 5 stars!

I am always looking for a good burrito place and have found it with Juan Loco. They have a very extensive menu to cure any hunger that you have. Whether it's burritos, tacos, bowls or quesadillas they have an option. We have been there a few times and have always had a good experience. I typically get the loco burrito and change out the refried beans for black beans. They are good with substitutions so make sure you order it your way. Also their chips and salsa is pretty good. You can always tell a place by their chips and salsa. Recommend and please support this business.

OMG I won an Instagram giveaway to Juan Taco and decided that I would cash in on my winnings on a Wednesday night! This place is popular. Juan Loco Taco is located in Cornelius in a strip mall with other businesses. They have a shared parking lot. The menu is displayed at the counter. You order and pay for your food first and then the employees bring it to your table. It was young people working they were courteous and provided good customer service. There were soft drink and beer options. I ordered a bowl with steak and an American taco! I opted for a beer ! I enjoyed my food the presentation and taste was very good. The bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. Thank you!
