Food: Great. Customer service: TRASH. And will result in my family (and anyone else I can alert) to never order from here ever again. The on-line order I placed, (which was quite large and placed over an hour before the pick-up time I scheduled by the way) went through twice. Rather than make a phone call to question a probable mistake, or use common sense, they made both orders. When I arrived they said "your order went through twice so we made both." When I complained they said "we already made it and we dont refund online orders." So I arrive to 4 bags full of tacos and chips and a depleted checking account (more than $100) Gracias alot Juancho!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered a burrito and when I got home there was no meat in it. I called back to let them know. I was told to come back when they were running the burrito deal again. I did and they wouldn't honor the receipt. They said they don't exchange it after 7 days. The lady didn't say that over the phone. I will not be returning to this establishment. read more

I have been going here for YEARS. I love the food and MOST of the staff is kind but there is a redhead male who works the front who the most rude person I have ever seen. Never again will I step foot in this dump. First off what Mexican cuisine puts nacho cheese on steak nachos, a food truck maybe but not a brick and mortar store. So I come in pay for food and go to McDonald's order my kids food pull in 20 min later and food still not ready a burrito el pastor 3 steak tacos a side of rice and beans and a large chips and guac is $40 not terrible but definitely not fast. Like this place sounds like it should of never left the food truck business. When I inquire about my order she asks for my receipt I tell her my name (which young man took when I ordered) and she makes me go dig thru my car for the receipt. Like you really think I'm gonna steal someone else's food, this is the most ridiculous place that serves food ever! Slowest restaurant ever with zero customer service skills. i will never spend another dime at this place. I ordered $58 worth of food. They messed up my order and I realized once I got home in Glenwood at 9:30pm. I call and tell them. First, they denied what I asked for then said to bring it back some noodles for a refund tomorrow. While I can certainly hold on to the noodles. I think it was bad customer service and instead of being apologetic and saying the next time they'll give me the correct ramen. They expect me to drive back tonight or save them until I can come back. Never again giving these rude azz people any of my money ever! read more

This taco place used to be amazing as they have chile relleno tacos but apparently they only add about 1/4th of a chile relleno in the tacos now. It was the saddest looking taco I have ever seen. This is something that must have changed within the last 2 weeks and now I need to find a new taco place that actually adds the full chile relleno in the taco as Juancho's Tacos used to. Just moved here from SD so my expectations were a little high. This place was okay. Would i order from here again, yes. I had the burrito and it was definitely a good size. Was able to actually have it for two meals. I was disappointed in the tamale though. It was hard and dry. Couldn't even eat it. My husband got the birria tacos and the consommé was great. I dipped my burrito in it as well, but it couldn't save the tamale. Giving it 4 stars because I'm being generous and feel like this might be the best this city has to offer. read more

I so badly want to go back and give this place another shot, but the memory of how sick I was the last time won't let me do it. They got two stars because the people are so friendly and gracious. But the food would be a 1 for me. The beef is so greasy. It was dripping down my arm and on my clothes. No matter how many napkins or paper towels I wrapped around the taco it just wasn't enough to deal with the grease. I got rid of the shirt and washed my arms. Then the sickness set in. Upset stomach for two days. I won't do this to myself again. I've tried asking others thinking maybe my experience was unique. I'm afraid that's not the feedback I'm receiving. The reviews are pretty misleading on this. I was visiting town and this place was nearby so we went and the service was excellent, the meat was tender, and would highly recommend trying the tacos de cabeza. I had to go order a second plate because they were that good! If you're in the area you should give this place a try. read more

So, I feel like every time I go to this place is get more and more disappointed. I have 3 stars because the rice, beans, tamale and steak tacos are good but it's always something when I go here. The first time I went there they gave me the wrong order, the second time I went there the steak meat had a lot of fat. The food use to be good, but now taste terrible. I placed a order yesterday, since I'm rarely that way and wasn't surprised. The last few times I've came here it taste bad. Im not the person who usually call in to complain, but I had to call in a few months ago and complain about the hard pieces of steak meat and the owner lady remade my meals fresh. It was a big difference, in taste. I ordered steak taco dinner the other day and same thing like last time. The meat had over cooked pieces, like some pieces were soft some was hard. Rice was old tasting like they reheated it. Beans were somewhat fresh and hot. But overall this place sucks. Seems like they mix old meat with new meat. The only thing I approve of is the guac sauce they give you, to put on the tacos. That's different and that's the reason I like the place, but won't be back anymore. Had way better tacos. read more

Even though I didn't know, I can't even regret it because it was so freaking good. And not just the Birria, the chicken and the carne asada are like the best. The consommé is like heaven for goat broth and I just drool every time I think about these tacos and how I can literally devour 5 a day and turn around and eat them again the next day. I had to knock a star off for customer service. I repeated my order 3 times at the register and they still got my order wrong. I wasn't given a receipt so when the manager called out "my order" I told him it was wrong and repeated my order. He argued that my order was correct. I nicely repeated my order and he walked away. He returned minutes later (after I had already waited for 25 minutes for tacos). I repeated my order for the SIXTH time, the manager looked me in the eye and assured it was correct. I took his word for it and drove home. Guess what? My order was wrong. It was only one taco that was incorrect but considering the time I wasted stating my order repeatedly, you'd think they would have been more ethical with their customer service. I love the flavors of the food at Juancho's. My current favorite would have to be the birria tacos, but the burritos and tortas are tasty as well. However, 2 out of the 3 times I've ordered from this location have resulted in at least one missing item. It's usually a side item that we've ordered such as corn or rice, so it's not the worst of all possible outcomes, but it's still not ideal. This was my first and last time here. The girl with the red hair at the counter didn't even greet us. The meat was seasonless and greasy. It also had fat chunks of fat. They messed up my order of tacos. I ordered one lettuce and tomato and the other onion and cilantro (they gave it to me with only meat). I stopped in during the morning hours because tacos are in order anytime of the day. I ordered 2 steak tacos and an al pastor taco. I believe it was the owner; he was very chatty and pointing out items on the menu that were good. He suggested the COW HEAD taco, stating it was very good. I replied that I would try it on my next visit. Upon receiving my food, the same man told me he put one in my order for me to try. I didn't like it at all. The meat was very tender and fatty. It also lacked flavor. The steak tacos were average. The true winner here, the reason I gave 4 stars as opposed to 3... THE AL PASTOR taco put the steak and the cow head taco to shame. It was very flavorful and absolutely delicious. I'll returm definitely for the al pastor taco and probably try some other dishes.
