    Chicken Gigante Burrito

This was our first time eating at this restaurant, and we were very pleased. The service was quick, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was very clean and there were sufficient waiters to take care of business even though nearly every table was full at lunchtime. we will be eating there again!

Been following the truck on Facebook since I moved to Bardstown 6 months ago. They finally opened a restaurant so I thought I would try it. I got the Burrito Grande and Guacamole and chips. It was absolutely delicious! The burrito was bigger than my foreman. Loaded with delicious ingredients. Lettuce, rice, tomatoes, beef. So good. They have a lot of options for protein and if anyone does keto, they have keto friendly options. The guacamole had the best flavor. Staff was super friendly. Can't wait to go back and try something else.

Great experience! This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Bardstown, has traditional Hispanic drinks and candies for sale! Chicken tacos we're really good and my sister enjoyed her Juanito Bowl. If you're looking to try authentic Mexican food in Bardstown, I recommend you stop here.

Most authentic and best Mexican food in town, and possibly KY. It's just a simple taco shop. They don't pretend to be anything else.

Love the street tacos. The meat is always so tender. I get the carnitas, asada and grilled chicken.

I tried their Pollo Loco taco and their steak taco and the elote loco side. The Pollo Loco taco is dry. The tortillas were hard and felt like they were microwaved instead of warmed up on a stove top. Pollo taco Had good amount of meat, but it lacked flavor and tasted dry. The steak taco was better, It needed more onion and cilantro. I wish they had added some hot sauces because that's probably what they needed. The limes I was given were very dry, no juice came out of the 5 I was given. The Elote side was very oily to my surprise. I don't know what the oil was but traditionally it is with mayo, and or butter, lime, cilantro, and coteja cheese with Tajin or cayenne. Don't get me wrong I ate it all to try and give it a chance but I just wanted to give an honest review it was all very bland for my taste. Will be open to try other menu items in the future.

Also, the price points are awesome, well below any other Mexican restaurant, along with better tasting food. It's a win-win. Service was SUPER fast but they weren't very busy while we were there. It's not a fancy date night place but it's a delicious date night place! Extra points for an extremely clean bathroom.

The new restaurant off of Water street is nice and much larger than the old restaurant on main street but they usually only have one server working. With one server working 15+ tables they cannot give each table adequate service. I spoke to our server twice. We asked for tortillas and after 10 minutes ended up going to the host counter to ask for them. I think this restaurant could be much better with the correct amount of staff.

Due to a tornado warning, we decided to skip driving to Agave + Rye (big mistake) from Veterans due to living over 30 minutes away and needed to get home stat. So we ordered from what we thought was an interesting menu compared to most taco spots. Sadly, the tacos received were child size, yet cost $7-$8. My shrimp taco had one shrimp on it, and the rest sauce. While my chicken taco that was supposed to have quirky ingredients was missing said ingredients and the chicken was raw. I immediately spit it up and threw it in the trash. While my stomach did hurt for two days, I'm still alive. So, it luckily didn't kill me but there is a serious disconnect in the kitchen. I attempted to contact the business to discuss the order issues but a manager never called back. Wouldn't have left this review if communication was followed through on. I work hard for my money and was expecting a loaded high-quality $8 taco worthy of the investment. Torchys, sadly, didn't deliver on that promise. From the muddled flavors, missing ingredients, raw chicken, and dollhouse sized tacos... Torchys won't get my hard earned money again.
