Changing my review to one star. We will NEVER give this place a chance again. This time we tried the pizza again, and added wings. The pizza had toppings this time, but it was obvious that they'd changed the crust, because now it tastes just like a prepackaged crust from the grocery store. It was very burnt, hard, dry, and so nasty. My kids didn't even like it. That wasn't the worst part, the worst part was the RAW CHICKEN WINGS they gave us! I'm glad I didn't bite into the wings, I used a fork instead to pull a bite off. When I pulled the meat off, blood leaked out and the chicken was bright red, bloody, cold, and no where near cooked to a safe level for consumption. They gave us BLOODY UNCOOKED CHICKEN WINGS!!! This could've seriously made my family sick. Thinking back now, I should've reported this. Totally unacceptable. I don't know how this place isn't shut down by now. I guess the patrons are too trashed to notice or care, because there's always people in there that are obviously over-served. But anyways, if you like to play a game of "chicken", and want to risk your guts, be my guest. We will never go back and will warn others if they suggest eating there. Great bar staff, beer selections and all the food is amazing. 1 star is for ownership. They have 15 or so TVs that can only show two things at a time. One is usually stuck on golf (even if it isn't live). The unlimited screens with YouTube TV is a minimal fee. Also, local Ranger fans stay away. They refuse to pay for Victory Plus. I have to watch on my phone and the guest wifi rarely works. Will switch to 5 stars if ownership gets their act together. read more

Pleasantly surprised by their food! Pizza, wings and fries are what you expect for a pizza joint. But they are good! Highly recommend getting your bone in wings extra crispy! Gets a little loud with the music and bar area, but good noise blockers when enjoying a family dinner. Trivia and a couple things to keep the young ones entertained. Went in two weeks ago and it left a lot to be desired. 5 orders and each meal came out one at a time. Several minutes apart. They actually forgot the last two orders and when I asked about it, the bartender said some foods take more time than others. Would have been understandable had I not ordered a cheeseburger and a meatball sub. Meanwhile the kids, or cooks, were clearly dancing in the back kitchen having a great time. I've wanted to try this place for a long time. I live in Denison and work in Frisco, so I pass it nearly every day. Finally went. The atmosphere is cool. Nice place to relax. Watch the game. Drink a beer. The food was very good, but lesson learned that their "sizes" are not what I'm used to. I ordered a small pizza, which should have had the "inches" listed because a small there is very much a PERSONAL size. 4 tiny pieces. For nearly $10, that was a bit eye-opening. It was very good, but not a typical small pizza. I've read a lot of poor reviews based on service, which is my hot-button issue, but when I went, there were no servers and I wasn't having it delivered, so I simply ordered it at the bar and the food came, so no real service to judge. read more

Juba's Pizza Bar provided us a great atmosphere and good food. The food (pizzas) were a little greasy but hey, it's a bar so it can't be expected to be health food. The music was good and fun, the bar was full, the tables were constantly full of families and adults alike, lots of take out orders too. I live locally in this used to be a great spot to hang out. But it is not being kept up. It's filthy inside. No wait staff only bartenders. Bartenders are very young people with no social skills and are extremely rude. One bartender brings her child to work so you've got a kid running around the restaurant. Loud aggressive drunks on the patio smoking. Overflowing ashtrays, and broken patio furniture. Police are called regularly due to fights. Bartenders over serve. Anna Police department watches closely for drunk drivers leaving. I feel bad for one of the owners Amelia she opened up the place and she did a great job but this place needs real supervision from the owner. read more

Tried this place out with my kids today. Definitely are short staffed; but even so service was pretty decent. We popped in around 1 ish. There were a few people at the bar and one other table. There were instructions on the chalkboard to take a menu and order at the bar and sit where you like. Bartender got to me rather quick; I ordered the fried cheese curds, a small half cheese half pepperoni pizza, and mango habanero boneless wings. Food came out decently quick; the cheese curds were probably our favorite. Nice portion served with ranch. Kids loved them! The small pizza was more along the size of a personal pan pizza in my opinion. It did work out for my kids (5) and (4); the got two pieces each. But in my head I was thinking a small would be a tad bigger. They got thin crust; but the pizza was a tad over cooked. Pepperonis we're kinda burnt and some parts were really crispy; flavor was good though. The mango habanero boneless wings were ehhhh; the sauce was okay but the wings were super crunchy; they had been over cooked for sure. I probably should've went with traditional wings and normal crust pizza.... But oh well. Food's edible; service was decent; definitely bar like vibes; cheese curds we're great! read more

Decided to come check this place out with my wife tonight. I got the Philly sandwich and fries, my wife got the teriyaki wings and cheesy bread. The wings were great, as were the fries. I wasn't really happy with my Philly, though. I wish it had more flavor. Overall, the store was clean and neat. The music was perhaps a little loud, but good. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Indoor seating is at the bar, high-top tables with stools, or regular height tables with chairs. They also have four pool tables (coin operated, apparently $1/game), a prize grabber game, and a video golf game in the back. Overall, it seems like a decent place. read more

Was excited to see a new place in Anna. The inside was really transformed from when it was the Italian place and they expanded their space. When entering, you grab a menu and order at the bar. When paying, it asks if you want to tip. No thanks. We recieved a number and found an empty spot at the bar. They have several big screen tvs surrounding the bar area. They have a short list of local and domestic beers on tap. I ordered a patty melt and hubs ordered chicken tenders with fries. When it came out, I asked for utensils and was directed to get my napkins, ketchup and utensils by the drink station at the back of the room. This made me feel a bit hesitant. In the face of covid, people are traversing the room, grabbing into a communal container with forks and knives. Also several ketchup bottles to take to your table. There was a spray bottle makes "sanitizer" which confused me as what to do with it. I asked for a side of thousand island for my patty melt and was handed a salad dressing package. My fingers were no doubtedly covered with grease from the bread, so had trouble opening the package. The napkins were the biggest let down. If as a restaurant you're serving greasy finger food, don't provide hole in the wall diner napkins that are so small and thin, its just unpleasant to use. The burger and onions were good. I wish the bread was more toasted or even rye. It was a lightly toasted white bread that ended up soggy. The fries were seasoned and crispy. Hub said that the chicken fingers were not seasoned well.. Appeared beer battered, but was unfortunately overpowered by oil. The music was loud. Someone must have said something bc an associate turned it down half way through our visit. Our bill was $30 for 2 Lakewood Temptresses, patty melt, chicken fingers and fries. read more

My wife and I thought we would check this place out as it looks like a cool place from photos. There are lots of tables, TVs, and even pool tables which is cool. I cannot speak for the food there but be aware of the price on a pint of beer. I wasn't expecting $6 for each glass for Dallas Blonde! My wife got Woodchuck and it was $4.50 a glass. By the way that is the happy hour price. That's the first time in my life I have ever paid that much for a pint and I'm 43. I don't know what the price is for normal pint (Coolers, Bud Light, etc) but I'm not going back to find out. I'll stick to going to Goodie Goodie to get a 12 pack of Dallas Blonde for $18. We like to support local places but not when they rip you off. read more

My boyfriend and I came here since it's right next to the Pilot in Anna, Texas (for truckers it's great since you can walk from the pilot lot). We had a small Hawaiian pizza with jalapeños (I forgot the name of it on the menu ), 6 boneless garlic Parmesan wings, 6 bone-in mango habanero wings and mini corn dogs. Let me tell you that wings are SOOOO GOOD. Everything was good but the wings were so tasty. We washed everything down with a nice cold Michelob Ultra on draft. When I say nice and cold, I mean it. The glasses were pulled out of the freezer and then the beer was poured into it. I loved the service here! We had 4 each and each one of them, we were given a new icy glass each time!!! First time here. Ordered the small pizza, the Doug is definitely pre-made and frozen. If it's not, all can do is hang my head in pity. The waitress was new only 2days and her lack of training showed. I FIND NO FAULT ON HER. I ordered to dine-in and they gave it to me to go. That made the 6 wings that were sitting in a closed container all soggy, not good. Made them remake it. So now the order is corrected for dine-in, so why would the mgr give me blue cheese in a package when everyone else got little bowls. They tasted like they were precooked then reheated. Again not good. Now the prices... small personal pizza with 4 toppings $9.99 6 wings $8.99 and 2 Blue Moon Beers on tap $11.50. Now it's grab a menu at the door, order at the bar AND pay at the bay. What kind of tip do you add when one does not know the quality of the service other then them taking your order. This a bar that sells food, it's not a restaurant that sells alcohol. For the price I paid, and the quality of food I received, it's not worth the money. My wife & I were excited to try this place, as it was a new local spot with two of our favorite things- pizza & beer. We were sorely disappointed by our experience and do not plan on returning. We walked in, grabbed our menus and proceeded to sit at the bar. The bartender acknowledged us briefly; but was too engaged in small talk with other 5 patrons at the bar to serve us. We waited 15 minutes to be served, and the other 2 women behind the bar ignored us as well. We decided to leave quietly, and heard the staff behind us make comments as we left.
