Food was ok. It is a sports bar/restaurant so there are a ton of tvs and if you like having volume blasted so loud you can't hear yourself or the waiter, you'll be right at home. Also, I don't think I've eaten anywhere recently where it was clear no one wanted to be there or help me. Hostess seemed put off that i was interrupting a conversation. Waitress also seemed like they didn't want to be there. I only got checked back up on near when I was done. Several years ago, my son was working as waitstaff at BoomerJack's. Out of loyalty to him and his employer, we frequented BoomerJack's. I was never much impressed with the food there, primarily because I love bone-in chicken wings with a high level of spice and frankly, BoomerJack's wings were pathetic. They were tiny (some of them looked like a meatball) and the "Carolina Reaper" sauce was almost OK on the spice level, but it tasted like someone just added spice to ketchup. I ate them a number of times, but I was never temped to order more. Their waitstaff was excellent (even after my son left :^), they have some crazy number of screens primarily focused on sports, but with some on other things like people doing crazy things, animals, etc. We were always able to entertain little ones there and the drinks were cheap, but I suffered enough with their wings, that when my son left, I rarely visited. Time passed and one day, I returned - what a great move! The night that I went, there was a special on large draft beers - like Blue Moons, that were cheaper than the normal size. I was in the mood for a few wings and decided to try them again - I got 5 Ghost Pepper bone in wings. Wow! These things were Great! Some of them were large enough that they could almost be used as an assault weapon. Large and tasty! The Ghost Pepper sauce rocked my world - spicy, but not enough to make you puke and even more important, an excellent flavor! I spoke with one of the managers there and she told me that they completely overhauled their wing program - it made a huge difference - like a different restaurant. I have returned many times since and highly recommend the Fairview BoomerJack's to all. Been here a few times and surprise. The service is always better at night. Went here today for the lunch shift. This waiter/staff person was so busy hitting on the manager, she forgot she had customers. Really sad. Normally, I'd not say a word. The service was one of the worst. She didn't return to our table. She forgot silver ware, straws, and most important the customer. My burger was raw ( I requested well done) and we never received refills on tea or water. I still tipped 25% (cash) and not sure why I bothered. It was crappy service and the food. Well, all raw. Chicken was pink inside. Ugh. Not ONE person on the staff wore a mask. My bad for wanting to eat out here. However, they do post unvaccinated persons should wear a mask??? Pffft. The sign should say "staff is vaccinated, maybe"? Brought my daughter in on Friday to eat and ordered the same thing I have for years, after I explained to the waitress we only wanted the grilled chicken and fries she asked what else for the plate. I've come here since 2019 and am pretty predictable. Had a new waitress who I explained we didn't want the plate, just the chicken and fries. IMMEDIATELY she gave me an attitude, avoided me and my daughter, when I asked for our check she threw it on table. After that when I had my card ready, sitting in front of me she reached across me and snatched it off the table then threw it over the wood wall ( we were sitting at the of bar patio table) her name on receipt is KAY K. Under the circumstances, this was a good experience for my wife and I. We're in the middle of a pandemic, but we drove past this place and had to try it out. As new places open in Allen and our surrounding areas, we're always anxious to see whats out there. We walk in and we're greeted immediately by a young lady who asks us where we want to sit. We choose outside to remain socially distanced as well as enjoy the last bit of hot to warm weather. We have the patio to ourselves and I start to look around. I imagine a time where there was no pandemic and how awesome this place would be and can be once we are allowed to go out and be social again. There are lots of TV's, the patio has a fire pit, and there's plenty of seating. I order a hamburger as well as a side of ranch, and my wife ordered the pesto chicken melt. The food took a little longer than I expected to arrive, and my ranch arrived after my food, but I think the girl was new. I still like this place and will return. The burger was delicious and my wife enjoyed her melt. In the big picture, the food is bar food, but good bar food. I can see myself meeting the fellas here and watching the football game. The place is clean, it looks clean and smells clean. I've been to a few bars around the that serve lunch, and they smell like a bar even when you're eating lunch during the day. Lisa was our server... super sweet and attentive! Great customer service! First time here and not the last... Seating fast! Drinks took a little longer, but normal for establishments like this. Food fast! Getting check took a little longer but it totally got busy. Ok, so the chips, salsa, and skillet cheese is exceptional! Fresh chives make a world of difference. Personally dislike Thousand Island so Lisa recommended the chipotle mayo... and only on suggestion did I get it (not a mayo fan either) but it was delish! The hubs ate all his grub so I'm gonna assume that cheddar bacon goodness was great, too. Margarita (frozen) came recommended and I was so glad I could taste the tequila. Many times frozen drinks cheat you out of the alcohol... so that was a nice surprise I do wish we would have sat outside, it was a beautiful day, low winds and perfect temperature. I love the outdoor space. I also love that they have drink specials everyday of the week. (great job!) I only wish they did a military discount for all service guys. We had a great experience here with our kids on a busy Friday evening. It was pretty packed when we arrived but it felt like the hosts and waitresses got things under control. No one seems frazzled or tired from the dinner rush, which shows that they were well staffed and prepared for the crowd. They weren't still trying to iron out their kinks like most new restaurants would. Food and drinks were not only reasonably priced but was also tasty. I enjoyed my Texas sunrise cocktail, they didn't go light on the alcohol. Our burger was cooked perfectly and was not dry. There was a good selection for the kids menu for $5.99, which includes drinks and an ice cream sundae. There were plenty of TV to watch a game or show. The patio had two fire places that seems to keep the people warm outside. This might be the third restaurant at this establishment but I am pretty sure this one will be staying. read more

The food was still warm, everything was there, even tons of ketchup packets which usually you have to ask for. The sandwich was delicious. The jam was super good with it.
