    Salmon, ravioli

Six of us shared the back room private table. Second time there for us. First time for one couple and the other couple are there often. Did not disappoint. Also a plus BYOB. I believe our server was Emily? She was new and did an amazing job. Attentive when needed. Special for the evening: salmon, with I think butternut squash ravioli with a hazelnut cream sauce and mushrooms. Suppose to have Brussels with it however we found out it was just shavings in the sauce which none of us found any so I received my own side of sprouts. Ohh soo good if you love sprouts! Mussels, sausage gnocchi's, scallops, peanut butter pie and a few other goodies round out the evening. We will be back and request our favorite table.

My daughter and I decided to go out for dinner and just order appetizers. We tried the special which was a crab and corn dip. What we liked about this dip that it was not full of melted cheese like other crab dips. You could see the kernels of corn and the large chunks of crab along with some bacon Pieces. It was fresh and delicious! We ordered the Arancini which was flavorful from the inside out. The sauce that came with it was top-notch. We ordered the shrimp tacos, which were our favorite! The sauce was amazing, the herbs and vegetables on top or fresh and we wish we ordered more of those! We decided to pass on dessert and go next-door to get ice cream, but they had a great selection of desserts! We will go back and try some of their fabulous meals. We at outside which wa a nice treat! Our server was attentive as we ordered each app one at a time. Our waters were topped off!

The food was amazing. I went for my birthday dinner and everyone enjoyed the food. It's a little pricey however it's worth it for a special occasion and the quality ingredients. The atmosphere is nice. It's very modern but not sterile. The noise level was moderate which made it comfortable to talk amongst your table. The server was kind and attentive. The food came out in a timely manner.

We came here to celebrate our Anniversary. This was our first time. I made reservations which I recommend. (A group of three were you able to get a table without any) The menu had a lot of good sounding options. We usually get an app and an entree and share but this time we ended up getting four apps. 3 initially and then reordered the steak medallions. Service was pleasant and good. Shea Quinn was singing. The fries were awesome and a large amount for the two of us. The stuffed peppers were good and the steak medallions we loved and ordered twice. I wish we had asked about desserts earlier. They sounded fantastic and we will have to try them next time. There seems to be a decent amount of parking available. This restaurant is BYOB. The burgers and some of the other entrees all sound good. Really enjoyed how everything tasted. If I had one suggestion it would be nice to have some additional sauces for the fries. Like sriracha mayo or spicy ketchup. I asked for mustard or something else and was able to get Tabasco with ketchup. I recommend this place but not just for special occasions. It isn't as expensive as I thought it would be.

So we walked in before 5pm we got lucky and were seated right away! We ordered the COCONUT SHRIMP Hand breaded in house. Served with Mango sauce as our appetizer. The shrimp were large and cooked perfectly the mango sauce is a perfect complement to the coconut breading. My wife ordered the BEET & ARIGULA Salad Arugula, goat cheese, herb crème fraiche, beets, pistachios, polenta croutons and lemon honey vinaigrette. I ordered the SWEET AND SPICY BURGER Pepper jack, bacon, and jalapeño fig jam on a rustic roll. Thea is pleasantly comfortable with a modernized decor with art hung fashionably on the walls being in a newer development of Arcona it's a perfect match for the surroundings. Olivia F. Our server did an excellent job she was very knowledgeable of the menu even suggested her favorites. Her friendliness and hospitality left a lasting impression on us on our first time visiting Thea it definitely won't be our last. FYI THEA is BYOB

I've passed Watershed Pub a million times and never stopped, so when I met a friend for lunch, it…read morefinally felt like the right time to check it out. Naturally, I had already done my due diligence (read: stalked the menu for a full week) and had a game plan. At the top of my list? The deviled eggs and the Kale Caesar salad with salmon. The only problem...I absolutely did not need $40 worth of food for lunch. So I quietly spent the week putting "deviled egg energy" out into the Universe, hoping my lunch partner would suggest splitting them. Manifestation is real, people. I arrived around 12pm and found plenty of parking out back in Watershed's designated lot, which is clearly labeled--a good thing, because parking in that area looks like it could get competitive if you're not paying attention. We had made a 12:15pm reservation (Monday lunch felt safe, but why risk it?), and our table on the enclosed patio was ready when we arrived. It was the perfect setup--sunny and bright, but still warm enough to be comfortable on a chilly day. The vibe was great, and our server was even better--friendly, attentive, and consistently checking in without being overbearing. Then it was time to order. I let my lunch partner go first and waited... "Do you want to try the deviled eggs as an appetizer?" Are you kidding me?!. YES. Yes, I did! We ordered the deviled eggs ($11) to share, and I followed through with my Kale Caesar salad ($15) topped with seared salmon (+$13), officially completing my week-long menu-stalking mission. The deviled eggs came out FAST, and in my excitement, I completely forgot to take a picture--which tells you everything you need to know. Each egg was topped with a cube of candied bacon that absolutely stole the show. Sweet, savory, and just the right texture to complement the creamy filling. We made quick work of all four--excellent start to the meal! Not long after, our lunches arrived, and my salad? Gorgeous. Like, actually exciting to look at. I dug in immediately and it delivered. The mix of shaved brussels sprouts, kale, and romaine gave it great texture, the dressing was well-balanced, and the red onion didn't overpower the rest of the flavors. But my favorite part? The garlic parmesan crouton crumble. No chasing rogue croutons around the plate--just perfectly distributed crunch in every bite. Genius! The portion size was generous, too--I made it through about half before calling it and boxing the rest for dinner later. By the time we were wrapping up, the enclosed patio had filled up significantly, which tells me this is a popular lunch spot--and for good reason. The food is solid, the atmosphere is great, and the service was spot on. That said...$40 for deviled eggs, a salad and water is a bit steep for an everyday lunch. For me, this feels more like a "treat yourself," client meeting, or special occasion kind of place rather than a regular rotation spot. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I be casually popping in every week? Probably not. But those deviled eggs? Totally worth manifesting!

Sometimes the best food adventures start with a friend saying something so ridiculous that you…read moreimmediately assume they're making it up. In this case... "Have you ever had crab rangoon pizza?" Excuse me?! Surely that's not a real thing! Rather than doing any research whatsoever, I decided to blindly trust the adventure. If crab rangoon pizza actually existed, I needed it in my life immediately. That quest led me to Marzoni's. We arrived around 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon in July and almost had the place to ourselves. We grabbed a booth near the bar, settled in and were greeted by a super friendly, attentive server who made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Marzoni's has been serving wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and an impressive selection of craft beers for years, but on this particular day there was only one thing on my mind...the Crab Rangoon Pizza. Of course we ordered a large. A short while later, our server rounded the corner carrying our pizza...and I'm pretty sure audibly squealed. At the very least, my mouth fell open and I was speechless, which is an absolute miracle! It was real! And it was BEAUTIFUL! The crust was perfectly baked with those wonderful blistered bubbles that tell you it's going to be good before you even take a bite. It was topped with creamy cheese, generous chunks of crab and crispy wonton strips that made it unmistakably crab rangoon...just in pizza form. We gave it a minute to cool...and then I took my first bite. Holy. Cow. It actually tasted exactly like crab rangoon! The creamy filling, the sweet crab, the crispy wonton strips...somehow it all worked together perfectly. It was one of those foods where your brain spends the first few bites trying to figure out how something this weird can taste this right. I happily devoured my entire slice and immediately started negotiating with myself about whether I should have another. Or another. Or maybe slices three through ten. My Responsible Adult Self (who is a complete buzzkill sometimes) eventually won that argument, but only because I still had more adventures planned for the day. PRO TIP: Come hungry or bring friends. The large pizza makes plenty, and you'll almost certainly be happy to have leftovers once you realize how good it is. Parking was plentiful in the lot outside, the restaurant was clean, the atmosphere was relaxed and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Will I be back? Absolutely! Because now I know two things. First, crab rangoon pizza is, in fact, a real thing. Second...it's apparently a craving I didn't know I was capable of having until now.

Six of us sat down for a quick lunch about 12:30 in the afternoon ordering a variety of sandwiches, including burgers, Rubens, and salads. The fancy nancy salad caught my eye as did the add-on of salmon. This was a very full meal for lunch, but on the super healthy side. Beside the salmon that they put on top which was very large and not at all fishy tasting, the salad included mesclun greens, almonds, cranberries, feta cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, and their house Italian dressing. What an enjoyable salad this was. I think the best part of it was that it didn't include things I don't like such as onions and croutons!,

Knowing Father's Day would probably be busy, I decided to do my homework ahead of time. Before we even left the house, I used First Watch's online "Check In" feature to get our name on the list while we were driving there. The website estimated a 10 to 20 minute wait and instructed us to let the hostess know when we arrived. Perfect! Or so I thought... About 15 minutes later, we walked through the doors...into absolute chaos. The lobby was PACKED with people waiting for tables despite the fact that roughly half the dining room appeared to be sitting empty. I squeezed my way through the crowd, made it to the hostess stand, gave her my name and mentioned that I'd already checked in online. "Great," she said. "It'll be 20 to 25 minutes." Wait...what? So the online check-in that said we'd be waiting 10 to 20 minutes...didn't actually accomplish anything? If I'd known we'd still be waiting another half hour after arriving, we honestly would have chosen somewhere else that accepted reservations or true call-ahead seating. The online check-in created expectations that simply weren't met. About 20 minutes later, we were finally seated. Unfortunately, things didn't improve. We sat for another 15 minutes before our waitress stopped by to take drink orders. We decided to order all of our food immediately because we weren't confident we'd see her again anytime soon. Good decision! The coffee arrived fairly quickly. The water...tap water, not fancy water, not bottled water, not water that required any preparation other than being put into a glass bottle and carried to the table, showed up about 10 minutes later. Here's what we ordered: Million Dollar Bacon ($6.29) - four slices of hardwood-smoked bacon glazed with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and syrup. This was absolutely phenomenal! If nothing else, order this (or learn to make it at home so you can avoid an excessive wait at First Watch to eat it). Sweet, smoky, just enough heat...this absolutely lived up to the hype! Power Wrap ($11.49) - egg whites, turkey, spinach, mushrooms and mozzarella in a sun-dried tomato basil tortilla with fresh fruit. The wrap itself was really good. The fruit was a mixed bag. The grapes were great, but the pineapple was still hard and noticeably underripe. At this point in the meal, I wasn't surprised and definitely wasn't going to try to get it fixed. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes ($13.29) - these were also really good. The lemon curd completely stole the show and made the pancakes. The menu advertised seasonal berries, which turned out to be strawberries. They were perfectly fine, though I probably would have expected blueberries this time of year. The Works Omelet (FREE BECAUSE THE ORDER WAS NOT CORRECT) - this was my stepdad's Father's Day breakfast. He ordered it WITHOUT onions. It arrived with EXTRA onions. By that point, our waitress had disappeared again, so rather than wait another 20 minutes for a remake, I flagged down another employee near the kitchen. I explained that we'd waited long enough already and simply wanted the omelet removed from the bill instead of remade. To their credit, they handled that professionally and removed it without any argument. While I had someone's attention, I also requested plates for the Million Dollar Bacon appetizer that had been sitting on our table for about 15 minutes and asked if my mom's meal could please be brought out since everyone else's food had already arrived quite a while earlier. Our final bill came to just over $44 after tax and tip. Even after everything that happened, I still left our waitress a 25% tip. It was Father's Day, the restaurant was clearly overwhelmed, and I try to assume people are doing the best they can with what they've got. That said...it was obvious something wasn't working. Whether they were understaffed, overwhelmed by the Father's Day crowd, or simply having an off day, the entire experience felt disorganized from beginning to end. The online check-in wasn't accurate, service was painfully slow, food came out at different times, one meal was prepared incorrectly, and our server disappeared for long stretches throughout the meal. Ironically, the food itself was actually pretty good. If I were reviewing only the Million Dollar Bacon, it would easily earn five stars. Unfortunately, restaurants are more than just food. For me, the overall experience matters just as much. There are simply too many excellent local breakfast and brunch spots to justify returning after an experience like this. I'm glad my stepdad's omelet was removed from the bill, and I appreciate that the staff made that right, but I left more frustrated than impressed. First Watch may have just had a really bad Father's Day. But based on my first experience, I don't think I'll be back to find out.

We decided to take a drive in search of something tasty, and our adventure led us to Brewhouse Grill in Camp Hill, PA. From the outside, it looked like a small neighborhood bar. But once we stepped inside, the vibe completely changed. Bright lights, a welcoming atmosphere, and a lively bar area. The hostess greeted us right away, which was a relief since my hunger was hitting hard. We checked out the specials and ordered two classics: a flatbread pizza and a Philadelphia cheesesteak. As an Eagles fan, I couldn't resist testing how a Harrisburg area cheesesteak stacked up against Philly's best. And if you know me, you know I take pizza seriously think ninja turtle levels of dedication.‍ The pizza came out crisp and well-done, but the cheese was a bit skimpy, leaving me wanting more. The cheesesteak, unfortunately, didn't quite hit the mark either. Luckily, a cold beer and the friendly staff helped balance out the disappointment. What impressed me most was the atmosphere. Brewhouse Grill works for just about anyone: families looking for a quiet meal, sports fans wanting to catch a game at the bar, or summer crowds enjoying the covered deck with a DJ. That summertime setup sounds like a whole different experience, and I'm eager to come back when the weather warms up. Final Verdict: The food didn't wow me, but the service and atmosphere make Brewhouse Grill worth checking out especially in the summer when the deck and DJ bring the place to life.
