Good service, good coffee. Really mellow vibe on a Thursday afternoon. Quiet chill music and amazing mochas. I chilled back and sat in a big leather couch and had my mocha and just was really comfortable. Nice place to take somebody to impress. Right behind discount tire which also had great service. They lost me. Formerly a big fan, now an extremely disgruntled customer. This is the 3rd time I've driven all the way across town only to find that they're closed. Why claim to be open on Saturdays if you're always going to be closed? Used to sing their praises to all my fellow coffee snobs and people I encountered but it's been so long since I've even had a chance to try them that I've just given up on that. They get that second star simply because the people are genuinely cool and awesome, but this isn't how you run a business for those that were loyal to it. I love the atmosphere of this place, there is secured WiFi, an outdoor space, and lots of windows on garage type doors that can open up to the patio. It's sunny with lots of seating, a great place to get work done. I got the hibiscus iced tea on tap. $3.75 plus tip for iced tea is a little steep in my opinion, especially considering how small the glass is. However, I am excited to return and try their coffee sometime soon. read more

Amazing coffee. I love to visit local coffee shops when traveling and Jubilee did not disappoint. I ordered my breve Capp and wanted to try the cinnamon honey simple syrup but am not doing sugar. The woman at the counter offered to make my capp w cinnamon sans the honey . The barista made an excellent drink for me. I want another right now but am back home in Seattle. I'm so glad I swung by before heading the airport and look forward to more visits in the future.. next time I'll buy some beans as well. Coming to Jubilee is like making a pilgrimage. It's not that close to anywhere I usually go, but it's worth a deliberate detour to enjoy some quality coffee, a delicious pastry, and possibly a seat in the nice space they've got. I went here to get some writing done on Saturday. When we first arrived around 9, there was hardly anyone in there. We ordered our coffee and had a seat. I had a Mexican chocolate mocha. It was tasty, as was the ham and cheese croissant. I then tried their Ethiopian coffee (because the writing was good that day), and it was smooth and delicious. All in all, I would say that is was a good experience. There didn't seem to be any access to the wi-fi without perhaps asking. Luckily, I was able to log in to my Xfinity without issue. There was also a hesitance, it seems, for the baristas to even greet us when we arrived. They did, and they were gracious to us thereafter. The owner, it seems, was perched at the coffee bar, and he did get up and greet a few people and chatted with them about it being their first time, or with folks he seemed to know. He didn't stop by our table to say hello or ask about our experience though we were there for quite some time. I did get somewhat of a vibe that was...unwelcoming or dismissive. The coffee was good. The service was acceptable, though it didn't feel "warm". read more

An excellent micro roaster and cafe. Great espresso that's lovely in a cortado but also very balanced as a straight shot. Also appreciate that they serve their espresso shots with the little glass of soda water, which seems to be the universal marker of a coffeehouse that knows what they're doing. They're my go-to for beans as well, they usually have a nice selection of light, fruit-forward roasts which are my personal preference. read more

I picked up a bag of coffee as a gift as well as a small cup of coffee for myself. I recommend this coffee shop. The coffee itself is superior! Deep and flavorful without accompanying bitterness. It took a while to get my coffee, so if you are in a hurry or think this is similar to Starbucks please be prepared to wait just a little bit. The gentleman behind the counter who took my order and made the coffee was extremely helpful in helping me choose what coffee to get as a gift along with recommending the brew for my coffee. The storefront is great and the interior of the store is very clean and visually minimal in the best way. It has a millennial hipster feel. I am loving the Fika passport experience- I've visited more "new to me" coffee shops in the past few months and found some new favorites. Unfortunately, Jubilee will not be one of these new favorite spots. This area of Denver Metro is SORELY in need of a good coffee shop but Jubilee comes up short. One caveat: I came hungry/hangry. I'd gone to a killer workout in the morning and had yet to eat. Still... you tell me if I'm over-reacting. Problems I encountered during my first (and probably only) visit: 1) I ordered the fika special (shot of espresso and a cortado with skim, pls) and a lunch sandwich. Cashier rings me up. we find out there's no more ham n cheese. I switch order to less expensive breakfast sammie. He does not change the order and would have overcharged me if I had not spoken up. 2) when breakfast sammie is brought to my table, I took one satisfying delicious bite. Mmm. Second bite... the sausage patty is cold. Bleh. I take it back up to the counter and ask them to heat it up some more. 3) After the gentleman who had come in 5 minutes after me was served his fika special, i went up to the counter to inquire where my beverage order was.... oops. they forgot. They'll make it right now. 4) My beverage order comes out... and ... augh. The cortado was made with whole milk. At this point (four mistakes in one visit?), I was done. I don't want to have to keep correcting mistakes made by the servers b/c it makes me feel like a bitch. My friend took my cortado back up and asked for it to be re-made the way I had ordered it. I own that I am higher maintenance than I like to admit. But after all these errors, you'd think I'd get more than just a "oops, sorry." ANDDDDDDD....while I was there, another gentleman came in with a Fika... and was given a different customer's drink. (He didn't mind - he said it was delicious. But I bet the customer who waited for his drink wasn't super pleased he had to watch someone else drink his beverage while he waited for a second one to be made...) To sum up: It looks like I visited on an off day. Almost overcharged, cold food, they forgot my order, made my drink with whole milk instead of skim. The two stars are b/c it is located in an area with a dearth of local/independent coffee shops and it has potential. But if I'm out this way and in need of a spot to grab a cup, I'd rather head to the place on Quince or to Starbucks. read more
