The El Bandito burger was pretty decent. Some classic American mixed with some Mexican twist.

Depending on which location the one on Hwy 80 is very good! Eastman road they don't cook the meat as well! It all depends on the management on how well chains are I would go the extra miles to get great versus barely fair! read more

After eating at Jucy's for 30 years I'm sad to say that we may never go back after last Saturday. As soon as we opened the door I knew their air conditioning was out. We went ahead & ordered hoping it would be cooler in the back - it wasn't. The floor was so nasty with ketchup, soft drinks and other unknown condiments that you either slipped or stuck to the floor. Tables were dirty and the coke dispenser hadn't been wiped down in days. And then, flies. Flies on your food, the table, in your face. It's not because they were short-handed that the restaurant was such a mess because there were 5-6 kids at the front counter laughing and talking totally oblivious to the nasty state of the restaurant. I hope the manager reads this and gets the place cleaned up. They had a B rating at the time, but I won't be surprised if it drops to a C very soon. read more

Normally I love going here but the last few times at this particular location my order has been messed up. I love the cowboy melt but I don't eat red meat so I asked to substitute the ground beef patty for a black bean patty. To my surprise I get home and it's a ground meat patty. A note to management: Perhaps the staff needs to be retrained at this location to better understand mobile orders / read through the details of a mobile order. We've had numerous long wait times through the drive through (which has also been a challenge to get order details correct, and many times we are the only car in the drive through). Thus, we have been attempting mobile orders -- average amount of time to get food has been around 20 mins. And that is if the mobile order is even on their radar - we shouldn't have to call the restaurant from the parking lot to re-give the order... Seems very off and disappointing for a place we really enjoy the food. Update: After today, they did bring us a gift card as an apology (thank you!). ... and then got home and the order isn't even correct. Extremely disappointing, once again. Not sure that it makes sense to continue to try here for Sunday morning breakfast. :/ read more

The food is always top notch, but the customer service there is probably some of the most hateful I've ever encountered, the people at the registers are always so rude and make you feel like you're not wanted.. it happens every time we eat there, and we've had a few different people take our order, so it's not just one bad apple! This place has been a Longview eatery for quite some time, used to enjoy this place. Disappointed to see the quality of the food decrease, and the price just doesn't fit with the food quality. I'm not making these statements without having been there several times to confirm how I was feeling, each time; long wait, soggy food, and empty wallet. Sad truth for a lot of Longview's food & dining establishments. During these troubling times it doesn't seem logical to wait In the Juicy's line for however or told to park to the side, much less spend a fortune taking the family to get wet and sloppy burgers. I no longer live in Longview, but last night's visit solidified that Jucy's is no longer what they used to be. This place was my all time favorite hamburger spot for over a decade and last night I made a special detour to grab a burger while headed back to DFW. Upon entering, I immediately noticed that the restaurant was filthy. Half was sectioned off to be cleaned but the front half that was open to the public were left with tables half dirty and crumbs still on them, and just as much filth, food and napkins on the floor. There wasn't one open both that didn't need to be wiped down. The food itself doesn't even taste the same. I don't know if they changed the brand of the meat they use, if my burger was halfway cooked, or if I was just turned off by the filth around me, but it just did not taste the same. At all. I was so disappointed. But my hope lies in the location on Marshall Ave. Thats exactly where I should have gone because they have always been consistently better with their food than the Eastman location. Maybe I l'll have better luck next time, whenever that may be. read more

The first time I saw the menu at Juicy's, I thought it seemed expensive. Then we got the burger & fry combo, and realized it easily feeds both of us. Now we buy a combo at lunchtime, and share it. On the weekend or at night, we usually get a couple of entrees - I like the chicken fried chicken, and my husband likes the steak - and have leftovers for the next day. The prices are reasonable and the food is very good. We usually go to the drive-through at Gilmer & Judson, and the staff has always been efficient and friendly. read more

Best burger I've had!! Was headed to Whataburger Nextdoor but came here after I checked yelp. Trust me I love Whataburger but this place is awesome! Burgers are huge and I almost tried the super one which is double meat. Glad I didn't cause regular was plenty. My son and I split some fries and they have goooood beans for FREE! I saw a baked potato on one table and a yummy looking chicken sandwich on another. Try this place you won't be disappointed just wish they had one where I live. read more

Hard to beat their fries and the burgers are consistently the best I've ever eaten in all of my extensive travels the past 35 years. But I had to eat and run. The terrible cookie-cutter, bro-country music ruined my experience. Played the same awful song by the same 2 harmonizers to the same melody the whole throughout the meal. There is so much good roots music out there. Why play the same worn out garbage over and over? There are hundreds of Ameripolitan/Americana artists producing real, diverse music. I've reviewed the Hwy 80 location but not this one and they both have a little different character so this one deserves its own review. Let me first post a disclaimer that we went there on Sunday at about the same time the church crowd was getting out. Battling the church crowd at lunch in East Texas is like getting caught up in a swarm of Africanized bees. It is not something you would ever freely or willingly choose to do. First and foremost, the food at this one is just as good as the other one. Maybe even better. Burgers are great. Great Chicken fried steak. Beans are really good. The salad comes with the dressing on rather than the pack of dressing they used to give you. I like the new thin cut fries better than the old ones. The old ones made my forehead sweat for some reason. Awesome tater tots. Lots on new menu items I'd like to try.They have Blue Bell ice cream so that's a major check in the plus column. All four stars (maybe five) are for the food. Atmosphere is on a par with Golden Corral or Western Sizzler. It is a pre-modern tribute to the East Texas redneck. The service is, well, pretty much non-existent. You'll get a surly 17 year old to take your order and then its off to do battle with the bees! I know this was Sunday lunch but they need to clean the tables quickly and make sure there's ketchup in the bottle so your customer doesn't end up with three empty ketchup bottles on his table (like me). The soft drink machines are a story in and of themselves. They are fancy and futuristic and would be a big hit in, say, Silicon Valley. Here in the heart of the piney woods..not so much! They would have been easier to operate if the instructions were written in Sanskrit. And why do you offer small, medium and large cups with free refills? Oh well, smarter minds than mine will be left to ponder such deep and probing questions. So here's the long and short of it all. The food is great. Don't go on Sunday at noon unless you're looking to engage in hand to hand combat with a deep East Texas blue hair in a $19 Walmart ensemble. Don't expect 5 star service. And get the iced tea as opposed to anything dispensed out of the Darth Vader coke machine. Smiley face (for the food). read more

I love going to this location they have a Monday special 1/2 lb burger fries and a drink for about 9 bucks. Me and my son can easily split this and feel like a busted can of biscuits. I've run in with short temper teen employees before other wise the food gets a five star. read more

I'd like to take the time to talk about this gem today because that is exactly what it is, a gem. I grew up on Jucy's since I was a child. I came back today for the first time in three years since moving away from East Texas. After traveling all over the U.S. and some globally, I can confidently say that there is nothing on this earth like a Jucy's cheeseburger. Some of my opinion might be biased due to the fact that it was the comfort food I grew up on, but I don't care. A burger is something that is very common to get at a restaurant, and it's unusual for one to make such an impression in your head like Jucy's. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment to anyone that is in the Longview area for work or in town to see family. You will not be disappointed. Wayyyy faster than the location on Highway 80. More accurate with their orders also. Really enjoyed the complimentary beans. They could stand to wipe that area down though-people apparently were slopping bean juice on the counter/silverware/napkins. Love the drink machines. Would come here for the ice alone! The menu is slightly different than the highway 80 location. Seems to have more options. I opted for a junior cheeseburger with mustard only and it came out exactly as specified. Hands down my favorite burger in East Texas. Don't ever change! The fries suck, which is the only real downfall of the place. They have zero seasoning and are soggy and tasteless. No amount of salt and ketchup could save them. They give you a giant portion which is nice, but unnecessary. I'll try tots or onion rings next time. For 2 of us, it was $17 and some change. No complaints here! Also worth noting they have a decent selection of bluebell in store. read more
