The burgers are big! They are good and filling. We had burgers, fresh cut fries and onion rings. The onion rings come in a half dozen. They are big and crispy. The restaurant is a busy place. We came on a Tuesday afternoon at noon. Seems like a lot of people were getting take out. I think they also have a drive thru. Ok the place is locals packed for lunch at 11:30 and two cops left as we were pulling in. They ate not action. Place order at the counter. Super friendly girls and find a table. The drink bar has a don't miss. They have free beans. Something between a baked bean and a ranch but with a nice kick of cayenne. I am fighting going to get another bowl and waiting for my burger!! So glad we found and tried this place. My husband wanted a burger, and we were coming from Brookeland and everywhere we found along the way was closed on Sunday's. I found this place in Yelp and we decided to check it out. Cowboy melt is a must try. I would never ever mix honey mustard and BBQ sauce on a patty melt myself, but I trusted their expertise and I'm so glad I did. The only thing that made it better was me putting some of my onion rings on it (which are made in house and delicious)! If you are a small eater like me it's a big enough burger/sandwich for two. The Junior burger is good for a big kid. If you are a ranch connoisseur you would likely find their ranch was gross (as we did). As many other noted, there are free pinto beans if you dine in, which is a nice touch. And they were good. Also, the soda machine has a ton of choices which is a plus. We came for the burgers after seeing some really high ratings. Well, they exceeded our expectations. They hand press fresh patties every morning and the patties are a half pound or more. These are definitely old time hamburgers that just ooze with flavor. For a side, we tried the fried green tomatoes. These came out in a very large portion and the flavor was the best we have ever experienced. They also provide a complementary side order of barbecued beans and they also were exceptional.
