We sat in there because even though they don't have a dress code, we felt too underdressed and were more comfortable sitting at the bar. Right off the bat, the service was excellent. The hostess was super sweet and accommodating, and shortly after we sat, we were greeted by the owner. Above and beyond! He thanked us for coming and left us to our meal. We had: -Raw oysters: a mixed bunch of deliciousness! -Shrimp scampi: packed with shrimp! So much so that I couldn't finish the dish and had to take the rest home. Very tasty, and has a creole flare to it that sets it apart from your typical scampi dish. -Dessert: faced with the choice of vanilla OR chocolate crème brûlée, we dared to be different and it was a fabulous choice. The mint with the chocolate was a marvelous touch. -Drinks: I had a French 75 and my mom had a different 75 that I'm blanking on the name of. Both were fantastic! The bartenders were both awesome and they truly take pride in their creations. The owner came back around to check on us, and while we ate, we had noticed him giving what looked like tours to other patrons. We asked about some of the history and he was more than happy to share with us. Very interesting and an added bonus to our visit! All around, I had a wonderful birthday dinner and highly recommend this place to anyone who finds themselves in the area.

It was close to 15-20 minutes between when I had finished my first drink and was asked if I wanted a second one. I asked for blue cheese crumbles with the steak and the waitress never brought or mentioned them. When I asked for fries to come out in addition to the steak (thinking the kitchen may have messed up), the waitress sounded like this was the first time I had asked for fries.
