So glad I found this place! I had been going to the same dentist since I was a toddler but because I moved to San Leandro, I needed a local practice. All the staff are friendly and Dr. Bach is so knowledgeable and kind! She takes the time to know her patients. The dental assistants are helpful and cheerful. You can tell staff are treated well here. They practice COVID protocols and I always feel safe coming in. My husband And I both enjoy coming here. We love that there's easy parking and we can text them to communicate. Office is located in a one story building across the street from Kaiser so very accessible. All their forms are online so it makes the process smooth and quick. We've had cleanings and cavity fillings here and all have been great. They take the time to explain to me everything being done. I've never felt rushed and they never have me waiting long or at all. They go over your insurance benefits so you're not left with any questionable bills. They have a great system and I recommend this place if you want great customer service and dental care. read more

This review is for a "free consultation" that I called and requested before hand. When I initially called I asked the receptionist if the doctor does free consultation in which she stated they did. So I scheduled an appointment. When I got there I filled out the forms as requested. I was given a tour of the office and taken to the exam chair in which the dental assistant tried to take full exam x-rays of my teeth. I stopped her bc I know your insurance only allows you two full xrays a year and I did not want her to bill my insurance bc I wasn't sure if I would be changing doctor's. She keep trying to insist bc I would not let her. So she leave and comes back and takes two exams in which I figured i would not be billed for because again I didnt want to exhaust my yearly allowance with my insurance. I thought I made it clear but I guess I didnt because I received a billing invoice from my insurance provider. After the doctor looked at the tooth in question I proceed to sit with the billing coordinator. She went over my insurance and what I was covered for. She also gave me a quote for services I need which was the purpose of my visit. At no point did she mention she or the office would go behind my back and bill my insurance for the "free consultation" I specifically requested and called for. Now I don't know who dropped the ball or authorized the billing of my insurance after I very sternly stated in my visit multiple times not too, but it's seems like bad business! If I would have had a low yearly maximum I would be even more upset with this office. read more

Went to see Dr Angeles for a follow up visit to receive check up and cleaning but I got so much more. I got a chance to meet her husband Buddy and share my story of losing my beloved JoJo recently. They took had experienced the loss of their beautiful pets. We shared special moments as human beings and touched each others hearts. I left feeling a lot better after having shared such a tender moment with them and besides this Dr Angeles is a great dentist. She won't hurt you. She has soft hands and is very gentle. She has been doing this over 20 years. She followed in the footsteps of her mom who was also a dentist and one of her daughters has also following in her footsteps. People always complain about their dentist but I've never had that problem. Unfortunately I just switched jobs and don't have the right insurance anymore and can't go to then at the moment. Dr. Bach and the Judith Angeles team were hospitable, informative, and efficient. Prior to seeing them, I would constantly fear going in as my previous dentist worked abrasively. I had also experienced many a needle trying to fill a never-ending list of cavities. Dr. Bach was gentle yet firm in executing a detailed examination and cleaning. As opposed to my previous dentist, she clearly communicated my problem areas with x-ray photos and a live macro lens camera. Dr. Bach offered solutions as well as preventive measures. I don't think I have ever left a dentist office so calm and satisfied. I tell my friends and family that it was the most delightful appointment! I may even reference it as a mouth spa from now on. I cannot recommend Dr. Bach enough! She thoroughly explains everything and listens to my concerns. I have sensitive teeth and she is careful around my exposed roots from teeth grinding and also offers fantastic advice with my kids teeth and dental habits. Unfortunately I had an abscess and the office got me in the next day and she made what was a scary and hard situation feel more optimistic. the whole staff and office is 10/10! read more

My wife and the kids went for their checkup a few months ago without me and told me they had a very positive experience, so I decided to check this place out for myself. From the moment I walked in the staff was very kind and cheerful. They gave me some paperwork which I filled out in a massage chair. There were a lot of things they really took up a notch in regards to service like providing sunglasses during the cleaning and providing a play room for kids. They also showed me pictures of teeth that needed attention on the screen. Everyone there seemed not only to know me but every member of my family, even that we had just had a child. They did not just remember names but actually knew each of us like we were family. Dr. Hong and Joy were very personable and friendly. After the cleaning and checkup, Candy left me with a detailed explanation of what work was done, how much it cost, and how much of the cost was my responsibility. Candy was far more helpful regarding my dental insurance than calling them directly with questions. I certainly did not expect such a great customer experience to come from the health care industry, but life is full of surprises. read more

He's honest about what you need done (unlike some "used cars salesman" dentists I've experienced int the past), and the procedures hes done for me (i.e. deep cleaning) have been virtually painless! I have been coming to this dentistry for the past several years. Everyone is very friendly and they send you a birthday greeting every year. Dr. Hong and Dr. Angeles will genuinely ask how you're doing and engage in conversation during the cleaning (but of course they are paying attention to the cleaning). During covid, they are taking extra safety measures like taking temperature, asking patients to use hand sanitizer and providing a covering for your shoes at the front lobby before entering the dental care area. Best dentist around! My entire family has been seeing Dr. Angeles and Dr. Hong for about 5 years now. Always a friendly and good experience. They are also very honest and transparent with their fees, insurance process, and explanations. I went in today with what I thought would have to be an entire filling redone. They were able to just fill in the tiny chip. In the past I've had dentists do fillings when it wasn't necessarily to get the extra buck! They are also very good with my young children.
