I have plans every night while in Jersey and have some free time, lemme fill up with some sunshine. This Wawa had plenty of charging bays. I arrived after 7pm and the gas station was well lit. While you're charging, you can use the bathroom facilities or buy a cup of coffee. It's a clean station and there's lots of people filling up with gas so if you need 15 minutes to charge, be secure in knowing you be charging in a busy parking lot. read more

I've stopped inside the store part of this Wawa a couple of times now. I'll visit when I've taken Exit 1 off of I-280 Westbound. It's open 24 hours. The store is clean and organized. The self-checkout kiosks are easy, and I'm in and out of there quickly. *This location has/had the Oreo Coke Zero drink, so it's most likely a Wawa store that will have limited time only items like that. This is an extremely EV friendly gas station! There are 12 Tesla charging stations available. When I came (around 2p on a Sunday) there were 3 available. I know it can be a waiting game sometimes. I needed to fill one of my tires up with air, so I looked for a gas station that not only has an air pump but that has a FREE air pump. And this was the only one in a 5-mile radius. Did I need to go out of my way for this air pump? Absolutely not. But could I grab a bite to eat and kill 2 birds with 1 stone? You already know! I've heard great things about the sandwiches so I figured why not give it a try! I pulled up to 1 of the 2 air pumps they have available. Before I got to Wawa, I placed my sandwich order on GrubHub prior to getting here. Once I was done with the air pump, I headed inside to get my order which was already ready! I highly recommend ordering in advance if you're in a hurry, impatient, or just hangry. I ordered a Custom Double Meat Sandwich (~$8) on a classic roll. The sandwich included oven-roasted turkey, roast beef, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, BBQ sauce, garlic aioli, and creamy chipotle. The whole sandwich was toasted! I also got Zapps Voodoo Chips (~$2) and a Diet Coke bottle (~$2) to complete the meal. You might be thinking that sandwich has way too many conflicting flavors and you might be right. But somehow it all hit the spot. The bread was fresh and not too hard. It was easy to eat and held this monstrous sandwich together well. The double meat is a must and I found the combo of turkey and roast beef to be great! All the sauces actually combined well and didn't clash. The Zapps Voodoo Chips are a nice add-on. The best way I can describe them is a mix of BBQ and salt & vinegar flavors. Luckily for me, I had ordered a 2oz bag of chips and was give a 9oz bag of chips, so I was going through this bag for a few days! And nothing like some Diet Coke to wash it all down. Wow, I love Wawa. Growing up in the Bronx, we never had a Wawa. I didn't have their food until I was already in my adulthood and I started traveling a bit. Their sandwiches are delicious, seriously. Anytime I'm in NJ, PA, DC. My mouth waters, and I start crave one of these sandwiches. So me and my family stopped in while I was in the area and man it hit the spot. We ordered several items from the menu, all placed from the very easy to use kiosk. (A staple at Wawa) I ordered the the classic Italian Combo, regular mac and cheese and a french vanilla iced coffee. MY family ordered two mac and cheeses with bacon, chicken quesadilla, chicken tenders, the junior Pepperoni sandwich and misc snacks. We even got another large mac and cheese to take home. So incase you have never been to Wawa, it's not gourmet food by any means but very tasty. The biggest take aways are ordering are quick and easy, it's hot if you want it hot and they have a big selections with tons of variations. Pretty busy wawa with good coffee but mediocre food making. When you ask for mayo on the sandwich, and the sandwich comes dry, you get sad eating 10 inches of dry sub. They also don't give you that many sweet peppers. Breakfast burrito is good but they hide the pico in it, giving you two tiny bites of it. Food comes out quick but obviously creation isn't the best. This review is mainly to thank one of the greatest attendants at any facility. There is an African American gentleman who has been working at this facility for probably a year or 2. I cannot say enough good things about him. Always pleasant, always professional and always on the move. They could not ask for a better person to represent their company. This was my first time visiting a normally booming Wawa location. Not impressed. The place is usually slammed in the morning. I went after work at about 6:20 PM looking for a black iced coffee and a snack. Unless you know the lay of the land, and what comes through a computer order and what doesn't be prepared to spend 20 minutes there. After searching for the ingredients to make the ice coffee for two minutes I finally found what Wawa calls ice coffee which is a coffee mixture with creamy sugary the additives to it. The ice is in a separate location, on the touch-screen soda machine without a button for it. Again, had you been a regular it would have been known. Turns out regular iced coffee is only ordered through the food and beverage touch-screen machines. Oy! I move over to the food and beverage machines and decided on chicken buffalo Mac n cheese. Great, get a receipt and watch the team make subs, frozen coffee concoctions, and after 7 minutes pass, I still don't have my food. I decide to go and prepay and then return to wait 7 more minutes for my food, only to discovering that my food was waiting on the counter and they didn't call my number. It was a customer loss for me. Nothing was intuitive, even for a millennial, and the choices I ended up with were far to processed to be edible/enjoyable. I finished almost all the coffee mixture before the Mac arrived and felt instantly nauseous. I debated leaving without my paid Mac. Once in hand I grabbed the Mac and opened it once home. The chicken on the Mac looks like cat food and finally induced my gag reflex. Having an iron stomach and being easy to please (hence ordering gas station food) I was truly disappointed. Reasonably priced. Not dirt cheap like Costco gas. Their coffee is the best around. Always fresh. Tons of different choices. Sandwiches are really good. I have to say, it takes a lot to amaze me these days, and it would take even more for a gas station/convenience store to amaze me, but this Wawa came pretty damn close. First off, because of its location adjacent to Rt 280, it has to be one of the busiest gas stations in the area, but they have a lots of pumps, staffed with a lot of guys, who actually seem to be friendly and like their jobs...it's uncanny what a smile and a 'good morning' will do for someone's demeanor in the a.m. Second, I've never been a huge Wawa coffee fan. I know, I know, everyone tells me it's great, but I didn't think it was anything special. This location may have changed my mind. I had a great cup of coffee and the people inside we're SO friendly. I only come to Wava for two things, gas and milkshakes. I really have a thing for their milkshake machine. My favorite is the cookies and cream and it's very easy to handle. Compared to some other wawa's i find there sandwitch ordering menu odd. I feel like not everything is in right place.
