Judy's Donuts is located next to the bike shop at Willow and Nees. Honestly, not the nest donut store. Prices are high for donuts, but they do great designs such as unicorns and cookie monsters on their donuts. I'm a simple gal, so I don't need all the fancy designs. I just want a dozen donut holes, which are priced quite high in my opinion at $2.50-3.00 I believe. Which is even more disappointing is the lack of glaze on the donut holes. Room for improvement in my opinion. read more

Solid classic donuts and everything I expect from a donut shop. I ordered a half dozen which was less than $9 and included three filled donuts. The lemon filled was a bit too sweet for my taste. The standout was the blueberry cake donut. I'll be back to try more flavors. read more

Went closer to closing, so smaller selection. Great donuts, fast service. Why 3 stars? Because I ordered a half dozen donuts ($6 something on the board), and it ended up being $12.80! There is no mention of differing prices for specialty/non-specialty dozens. When I went back to clarify (oy! The perils of using plastic to pay and not collecting a receipt--my choice), she mentioned that two of my donuts were specialty costing $3.00 (not on the price board--most expensive posted was $2.00). The three stars are not for the product; but for deceptive/inadequate price posting. read more

Gorgeous donuts, lots of variety! This was our first time trying Judys. My kids were drooling over all the options. I like simpler donuts and I thought the plain glazed were delicious. The donut with icing and strawberries was decadent. My kids wanted the fancier looking ones and got the rainbow donuts. My 7yo said the icing was too hard and she didn't care for it. read more

Most of the donuts are just great- fresh, slightly crisp on the outside, light and soft on the inside. Best maple bar ever! The apple fritter very good- a little crisp in texture. The one big disappointment was the Strawberry whipped cream donut. It was gobs of nasty fake whipped cream and I ended up scraping the stuff off. Management: if you call it a whipped cream donut, please use real whipped cream, not that nasty cheap stuff! read more

Have loved this donut shop since I was a child. It brings back such fond memories every Saturday! I generally have a great experience for a donut shop. Today I visited and was disappointed when I purchased donuts-they very much were yesterday's donuts-which I paid full price for. The maple bar frosting was runny and liquefied and the donut wasn't as crisp as it typically is when made fresh. I am just disappointed. I get having leftovers but please discount them instead of having clients pay full price for day old donuts. read more

I go in for a donuts and coffee, I pay in cash and they give me back too little change (10 cents). Not a big deal. I realize I forgot to grab some donut holes for my kids, go back in to grab them. Donut holes are 2.50, I have 2.45 , I'm 5 cents short (yes a nickel) and they won't let the nickel ride, and they won't charge my card for the 2.50 donut holes. Wow, great "mom and pop" establishment here. Good job earning a 1 star review over a nickel. read more

When I first walked in the display of donuts looked beautiful, A dozen donuts were ordered and that donut was one of the ones I got which was extra, I told the lady it was fine then we paid and went home, a day later the donuts that we paid extra for looked unpleasant, and when I reached for my special donut which had strawberry's and whip cream I saw that one of the strawberries had fuz and I came to conclusion that it was mold and it was! When I called the lady tried to make excuses saying they wash the strawberries 3 times before they go into the donut and that they are fresh but that should not be happening to one day old donuts if they were made yesterday morning. read more

Worst place in Clovis... donuts were old and dry .. And they don't take credit card ,cash only ,I guess they are so special that they don't have to pay taxes..another shady business in Fresno. He told me go to the Union bank and get cash from there. read more

Came to Judy's Donuts for the first time on Valentine's Day after reading the reviews and seeing the pictures of previous VDay treats. Arrived and there were no special VDay donuts. Picked up a treat to take to my mom and a dozen to bring to work. I did like the texture of the buttermilk loaf. Nice and dense. I don't buy or eat donuts very often, but would probably come here again if I needed a donut. read more

I don't give out 5 star reviews very often but I figured they were very accommodating and there was nothing I could have complained about with this donut run so it would be hard to go any lower than 5 stars. My brother and I were looking to grab a few donuts. We had nothing but change, and lots of it. The store had all the donuts we were looking for. Side Note: They even had powdered donuts. Even though every grocery store in the world has powdered donuts in boxes e.g. Hostess, Entenmann, Van De Kamp etc. it is very common to not see them in donut shops. I appreciated it when I do see them even though I seldom buy them because of the other options available to me. And finally they were not only willing to take $8 in change (mostly pennies) to pay for the donuts and drinks, they were happy to take the rest of our change and give us 3 dollar bills in place of the nickles and dimes we had left over. (at their request!) The donuts tasted good too. read more

I just love this donut place. I have been here about 6 times in about 3 months. The owner is super nice, friendly and his donuts taste the best out of the other Judy's Donut shops I have visited. This place is really popular on the weekends though, so if you are planning on getting donuts for a Saturday morning or Sunday morning, you will need to get here early. Before 9:00am. read more

I love this donut shop!!! The donuts are fresh and they make French cruellers! I'm from out of town and the donut shop closest to me didn't carry them:( I also tried a powdered cream puff donut hole...yum!!!! The customer service is excellent too. Donuts are ALWAYS fresh and perfect! Just get there early or they might be sold out. (Which says a lot right there) We've been more then once where there wasn't much left. But even then we have always been happy. This is the only location I'll go to. We haven't had the best experiences at the other locations. My favorite are the "French" donuts that are sometimes hard to find so I love that they make them. My girls LOVE getting their donut holes too, so grab some of those on your way out! read more

Also, the filled donuts seem to be sliced in half with filling spread between the halves, rather than filled via a piping bag and a hole, so they were an awful mess to eat. Definitely wouldn't recommend those even though the flavor was good. However, the blueberry old fashioned was delicious and so was the maple bacon bar. Pretty good but not the absolute best, hence the 4 stars. Plus the staff were friendly and helpful. We took our donuts to go, so I can't speak to the dine in experience, but it certainly fulfills a craving for donuts, just pick the right ones.

Even Peter North himself would be humbled by this glazing technique. Is this the most unassuming donut shop in all of the land? Maybe not the land, but at least in Clovis.
