    Cobb salad
    Julianne G.

Deli in the Vons plaza near Batter Up at Fowler and Herndon area. Friendly service. They have chowder bowls, soup of the day, salads and sandwiches made with yummy crisp hot sourdough rolls. My husband ordered the dry salami and turkey sandwich with clam chowder, and I got the Cobb salad. He said his sandwich was great with the roll being the best sourdough roll in the area for him. I ordered the Cobb salad, and it had plenty of chicken, blue cheese, avocado, bacon and egg. Unfortunately, I didn't like either of the dressings I picked, the jalapeño ranch or the Greek. I would try either an Italian or just oil and vinegar if I go again. I ordered a large salad but couldn't finish it. I would get the small if I go again. The clam chowder was fresh and you could tell it wasn't just out of a can. Better yet, I will try a sandwich next time since my husband raved about his. You also get warm bread with your salad order. My husband also tried a cookie, which was very good as well. Inside was clean and modern looking . Definitely will be back to try a sandwich.

    Clam chowder bread bowls =Amazing!!

I'm so glad this deli/restaurant came into Clovis!! I've been here numerous times and every time my food is hot, tasty and perfect portions. Today I got the spring special Greek grilled chicken sandwich, I added on the soup & drink to make it a meal! Of course I got clam chowder- amazing as always!! I usually get the garlic turkey pesto sandwich, I've had the French dip as well- ALL great options. The customer service is so good, friendly and professional!! I absolutely love how this restaurant is decorated, it is so stylish, the artwork is really cool. I really like the wood and metal accents. Today I ate outside on the patio, it's nice they have a couple tables on the patio to enjoy great weather & temps. I highly recommend this place, everything is so fresh, the bread is freshly made and perfectly crispy, dunk it into the soup... Mmmmmm

I've been trying to find a really good pastrami sandwich to replace my favorite from Gino's (which sadly closed). I think I finally found a close match!! The sandwich was so delicious. The meat was nice and lean. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

9/19/23 Getting lunch! Ordered via Yelp. Super easy! Veggie sandwich with turkey meat added. Added other ingredients like jalapeños. I went to pick it up. Very nice restaurant. Music playing! Clean and safe. Greeted and let worker know. Only waited a minute and it was ready! Lunchtime! Sandwich split. My half was really Great! Fresh veggies, bread and peppers with pepper jack added a nice spice! Really delicious! Fresh pickle half with it too! Mother said her half was Great and that it tasted really fresh! Good service and great sandwich! Highly recommended!

Chicken poblano Soup of the Day

Came in for lunch and it was my first time there. I didn't get a chance to look at the menu before hand but the cashier was very helpful. I couldn't make up my mind, as usual, but he let me know which sandwich was most popular. Apparently it's the French dip! I love a good French dip. You can get different combos like with chips and a drink, Mac n cheese and a drink, salad and a drink or soup and a drink. I love soup so I was interested in that combo. Their daily soup is clam chowder and their Friday soup is chicken and poblano chile. He gave me a sample of the chicken and poblano and yes, I had to have a cup! It was so delicious. I ordered a 6 inch sub and with the soup and soda it was sort of pricey. Like $18 for a lunch combo! Next time I'll have a coupon haha! And I say next time because I'll be back for sure. The sandwich was so good and the bread was great! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside with a nice chew. I loved it! The restaurant was clean and the staff was careful to wear gloves when handling food. Everyone was friendly and my order was ready quick.

One of their newer locations as I had to add it on Yelp. Nice change to the usual sandwich shop with a California twist. Had previously been to their river park location and service there was amazing. This location needs a little improvement but the young lady taking the order may or just been having a bad day. The food was delicious. Takes a little longer than your usual sandwich shop, but as they say, good food takes time. I tried the French dip, and it was tasty. The sourdough gives it a nice chewy crunch and the meat was perfectly cooked. The store is clean and well stocked (chips) and the bathrooms are clean. Good place for sourdough sandwiches. A little on the pricey side but might just be inflation. Will def be going back and trying out different sandwiches.

Tried this place via a work luncheon. For a place that is named sourdough, the bread was rough. Otherwise, the other ingredients were yummy

The restaurant appears to be decently clean. The service is consistent, but it's just the sandwich. Nothing special.

It's pricey but worth it. The pastrami sandwich is lean and good; not fatty like other places. Had a good first experience.

The tuna sandwich has a sauce, that brings the tuna sandwich together. It compliments it well. The Yukon salad is ok. Wasn't my favorite but it wasn't terrible. I'll still eat it. After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

They accepted the order right away and it was completed in a timely manner. Upon walking in , they were quite busy but the bag was ready for me and the worker was welcoming. They didn't have sourdough, so I just went with the wheat bread but it did not specify that it was honey wheat and thus it was a bit sweet which I'm not a fan of. I also wish they used fresh avocado instead of avocado spread as the spread flavoring is a little overpowering. However, the inner components of the sandwich were well rationed. The lettuce and tomatoes were extremely fresh, mayo tasted good and turkey as well. It was overall a decent sandwich, just need to order different bread and no spread next time around.

Way overpriced for two sandwiches delivered too ($47) and the quality continues to go downhill. And the location doesn't care, I called in the past to ask and they couldn't answer my question around quantity of ingredients, and the corp office said call the store manager, not us. Oh well, lesson learned and time to find another sandwich place. Unfortunate since used to be decent but no more.

Well she is amazing and just talking to her in this short time that I was there you can definitely hear her love for food and our community. Her and her husband put a lot of time into this restaurant to make sure the quality is perfect at every bite in everything they cook. What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I hear they just opened up another location off of Fowler and Ashlan and the atmosphere, music and customers are really good. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect.
