A new coffee place that also services Italian sodas and Thrifty ice cream. The owner told us they will soon be offering pastries as well. The same owner as The Pickled Deli added a coffee place inside the Peacock Market where The Mug originally had opened. The usual coffees plus a few interesting Valentine's specials were on their menu. I ordered a mocha. My friends ordered a pistachio latte and a special strawberry horchata iced coffee on the Valentine's menu. We asked for less sweet, and the owner graciously offered to remake it if it happened to be too sweet. There were plenty of spots open to sit, as it was still morning time. I imagine at lunchtime it might get slightly busier with the 2 lunch restaurants there as well. The owner stopped by to make sure we were all happy with our drinks. Go check them out and give them some support!

The Pickle Deli has fast become my neighborhood go-to sandwich spot for all the right reasons. It is one of three shops in the bodega food court inside the popular Clovis Peacock Market and Artisan Eatery. There is only a good food court if it has a great deli or taco shop. And Peacock has both. You can taste the freshness and quality of their sandwiches, and the prices are reasonable. They have followed their motto: "serve premium, fresh foods at affordable prices for an exciting culinary experience." The bread choices are white, wheat, sourdough, and Dutch Crunch. Unless you specify otherwise, the bread is toasted. They get their French roll fresh daily from Basque Bakery, one of Fresno's best and oldest bakeries. You can also swap out the bread for lettuce or spinach wraps. All cold deli sandwiches are prepared with sprouts, avocado, and cream cheese except for the #3 - Ham, Bacon, Avocado, Sprouts, and Swiss Cheese. Cheeses typically used for hot deli sandwiches include provolone or Jack. If you order a sandwich with "the works," it will be prepared with the following ingredients: mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, wax peppers, onion, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar. Size options and prices for the sandwiches are as follows: Mini, $8.95; Small, $10.95; Medium, $12.95; Large, $17.50. They are all packed with meat and vegetables; the toasted breads are pillowy-soft, fresh, and have a nice crunch. And the fried pickles are fantastic! They are tangy, crunchy, dill pickles deep-fried in seasoned flour. Delicious! They want to establish deep roots in their community and see it as a privilege to serve them. Moreover, they take pride in honoring our U.S. veterans. The owner Nick is himself a proud veteran. They are excited to have expanded to Clovis and are committed to earning their place among other great locally owned establishments. 4.5 stars. This solid, no-frills deli prepares everything using fresh, quality meats and ingredients. I love that the owner, Nick, and his manager, Selena, take such pride in their food and are so welcoming. Unsurprisingly, their loyal patronage has grown so much in the past year.

This sandwich shop was inside an unsuspecting store mart along with a few other food spots. I decided to get their mini tuna sandwich with a half order of pickles (which was a generous portion). The sandwich was freshly made and the Dutch crunch bread was excellent. The pickles had the perfect breading to pickle ratio with a slight kick. We went when it wasn't too busy so service was quick and efficient.

We have loved the Pickled Deli since they opened and are even happier now they are in Clovis. The service is always great. Who can say no to fried pickles? Not us! They are inside the Peacock Market and it is a freat space with 2 other places; The Parlor which serves coffee and Thrifty's ice cream and Miguels Taqueria which has some of the best salsa around.

Absolutely LOVE what Peacock Market has turned into since I have lived a mile away for 43 years. A deli, coffee shop, Mexican food and soon to be ice cream parlor. This deli is great! I had the hot pastrami on Dutch crunch. Their beer battered fries are great as were the sandwiches my mom and brother had. There's seating inside so that you don't have to take it to go and if you want some alcohol on the way out, the liquor store has the biggest selection of bourbon I have ever seen.

    Dry and bland. Disappointing!

Ordered a build your own sub and chose the 3 meats, salami, turkey, and ham. Fortunately, I decided to eat half while I was there since there was no one sitting at the tables. When I opened the sandwich, it only had the salami on it. They did apologize and added the turkey and ham. The sandwich itself was highly mediocre. The sourdough roll tasted at least a day old, was very bready and dry. It didn't have enough veggies like tomato and pickle to help with the dryness. Even after I tunneled out the roll to get rid of a lot of the bread it still was pretty flavorless.. the inside of this restaurant actually has two other restaurants inside. The decor feels like a corner grocery store. The TV they had was frozen on one picture. I was surprised that this had 4 1/2 stars as I'm rarely disappointed when I go to a restaurant with this higher rating and a decent number of reviews.

Tritip sandwich wasn't made right but it was still delicious.

So the sandwich was great but it could have been a lot better. The problem is when ordering through yelp or grubhub. You don't get the sandwich you ordered. Order through their site and you get rewards I believe. On yelp I wasn't able to add the sauce to the tritip. I added jalapenos cheese and toasted...I didnt get any of that. So really disappointed. The guy running the place gave me a free bag of chips and he had a great attitude. He gave me a sauce on the side so I'll stick to a good rating. I will try it again next week and adjust if needed. The sandwich was still great.

My wife and I were visiting Clovis last weekend and looking for a new coffee shop to try. The Parlor came up with some great reviews, so we had to check it out--and we're so glad we did! I ordered a hot vanilla latte and my wife went with the iced cinnamon vanilla latte. Both drinks were delicious. The espresso had great flavor and the drinks weren't overly sweetened with syrups or sugar--just the right balance. The guy working that day was friendly, and the service was fast. I also really appreciated the cool artwork on the walls and the patriotic touch with the U.S. flags. The only downside is the location--it's tucked inside a building shared with a few other businesses, so it was a little tricky to find at first. But honestly, that ended up being a bonus for us--we also got to try the taqueria inside, which was a nice surprise! Still, some people might prefer the ease of walking into a standalone coffee shop. That said, The Parlor is so good that with enough love from the community, I could easily see it growing into a bigger, more visible spot. We've definitely added this to our list of go-to coffee stops when visiting family in Clovis. Looking forward to coming back for more!

3/3/25 Ordered online a large chicken sandwich, fully loaded. Paid for it online and went to pick it up. Arrived! New in the Peacock Market. Greeted and let worker know. She said it's almost ready! Love the new set up in Peacock Market! Big eatery now. Spacious with music playing and lots of seating if you want to eat inside. Small wait and received order Lunchtime! Large Grilled chicken sandwich split. Plenty! My half was Fresh & Really DELICIOUS! Good amount too! Leftovers!! Mother said her half was Really GREAT! Good service and GREAT sandwich! Highly recommended!

Very friendly service and great recommendations. It was a quiet Monday morning around 9:20AM. I ordered a match lavender (customized) and an extra spicy chai tea latte (with almond milk). My chai tea tasted delicious and perfectly sweet.

Loaded pastrami sandwich and fried pickles

I got The pastrami sandwich it was GREAT. I highly recommend it if you like a loaded sandwich, I read reviews before and it was NOT a skimpy serving. The best fried pickles Iv ever had way better than all the food chain fried pickles. The side of Ranch was on point. Coffee at the parlor was on point if you like quality coffee with many options to choose from barista was on it she knew what she was doing.

Hot pastrami and sauerkraut with fried pickles. Ordered small sized sandwich.
    Julie B.

What a great tasting sandwich! Was in the mood for a sandwich and remembered that I wanted to try this place. The Pickled Deli - Clovis is located in the Peacock Market towards the back. Ordered the hot pastrami and sauerkraut with all the fixings. The pastrami was thinly sliced, not fatty with a nice black peppered edge. The sauerkraut was good and tangy. Some sauerkrauts lack flavor, but the kraut in this sandwich was perfect. The flavors in this sandwich meat, kraut, sauce, fixings perfectly married. I opted for the Dutch crunch bread which was perfect for this sandwich. Also ordered a side of fried pickles. Happy to say that they were more "pickle" than breading. Some fried pickled are so breaded, you can't taste the pickle. Lots of pickle taste! Loved my sandwich can't wait to go back! Happy to support local!

Great news for all fans of Thrifty Ice Cream! The Parlor, located inside Peacock Market, is now offering everyone's beloved ice cream (and many other hand-crafted drinks and treats as well). Locally owned and operated, with a friendly, happy staff to take your order.

By the time I had filled my drink and walked back to the pickup counter, my sandwich was already done! Apparently, online orders have to be made close to the pick-up time so they sit for too long. So, if five or more people order a sandwich for pickup at 12:30pm, your ass is waiting and walk-ins get taken care of first! They gave me a large tuna portion for my sandwich. It was very fresh and not too heavy on the mayo either, which can create a drippy sando. Loved all the toppings except that they put pickle spears on their sandwiches and not pickle chips... why? The sandwich came on dutch crunch bread, which I normally love, but it was hard a little hard to bite through. The crust was more chewy than crunchy, but still soft on the inside. Decent prices, a huge menu, and they offer most of their sandwiches in wrap form as well.

The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I originally came in just to grab some bacon and ended up choosing the Hickory Smoked... and decided to try the Churro Style too (very excited about that). Before I knew it, I was getting lunch as well and went with the Tuesday special: the Shredded Beef Dip sandwich with tots. The sandwich was delicious--soft bread, perfectly cooked beef, and an au jus that wasn't overly salty (which I really appreciate). The tots were amazing. First time trying them in beef tallow... wow. Crispy, flavorful, and the perfect bite with the ranch. And that ranch? Definitely not your regular ranch...can't quite put my finger on it, but it was really good. I'll definitely be back. Every employee was friendly, made eye contact, and had a smile on their face. Thank you for such a positive experience. And as for the price...didn't even matter. I was very happy with my purchase.

But the meat itself was smoky and tender. Not my favorite in town but a close second, and they give you a generous amount. Unfortunately, both my husband and I ordered half sandwiches and we were charged for and given full sandwiches. Since we were given the full sandwiches my husband didn't want to go back and complain. It seems they have added more tables on the side to accommodate more seating. All in all the service ruined this trip here for me.
