Ate their twice. Food was overpriced. Both their burgers and cheesesteaks sucked. Their soul food is unavailable both times I went.

Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: yes Return worthiness: maybe Midlights: - Pretty small round table for 5 of us--we ran out of real estate for our dishes - Had to wait a bit after our reservation but only 19 minutes and they were really nice about it and gave us some skillet rolls to start - Fried chicken: one of the best I've had though my southern hub has different standards. Thomas Keller Napa Addendum style with a light crispy breading and rosemary. 4.75 stars - Cornbread: super soft and buttery big round flat version looked like popped out of a skillet. 4.75 stars - Strawberry burrata toast: nice combo with pistachios scattered by and arugula salad on the side. 4.5 stars - Short rib rigatoni: al dente noodles with tender short rib pieces, but my hub loved the crispy onion strings on top. 4.25 stars - Pork chop: my teen gobbled it down. 4.5 stars - Carrot risotto: good flavor with outstanding fresh peas (pods and stems) though risotto on the runnier side. 4 stars - Layered banana dessert my hub enjoyed. 4 stars - Atmosphere: lovely with colorful art on the wall. The Kitchen Sink was a rich and delicious platter that sent our brunch cravings running for the hills. It has everything you need - eggs, potatoes, peppers, biscuit, and gravy. Top it off with Cholula and every bite is perfection! This was absolutely huge, we couldn't even finish it between two people. The red velvet pancakes, which we ordered in a kids size, were surprisingly not too sweet! They're more of a deep chocolate flavor than sugary, but the cream and strawberries on top contribute to the sweet side. There's also syrup you can drizzle on top. The kids size was giant as well, I can't imagine how large the regular order would be! Green Eggs has everything you could need for brunch and more, and I can't wait to come back again!

The eggs were poached but hard boiled in texture and chalky and gross. Everything seemed like it was taken straight from a bag of frozen food to heat up. Greasy, not flavorful, strictly disappointing. The server was nice enough. The specialty coffees sounded good, but were just overly sweetened, crappy coffee. I had the pecan cinnamon roll latte as a treat but was unpleasantly surprised the "cinnamon roll" garnish seemed like one of those packaged, sticky, ultra-processed school lunch type of treats. If 0 was an option, I would have picked it. I guess 1 star is okay because the server was nice.

A lot of corner breakfast spots like this are cash only, so I really appreciated that they take card! We arrived at 12:30pm and as expected, the wait was about 40 minutes with 5 parties ahead of us. They will seat you in order of your party size. When the hostess finally sat me and my friend at a table, it was wayyyy too close for comfort to another couple that was sitting next to us. I asked to sit by the bar area instead and they happily obliged. I knew what I wanted because I had plenty of time to survey the menu while we were waiting...scallion cheddar bacon waffle that comes with two sunny side up eggs on top. My decision was also based on a few Yelp pics for this dish. My friend ordered an omelette. Oh boy, the wait for our food took forever. At this point it was close to 1:30pm and I was hungry. What was annoying was seeing 4-5 other patrons that were seated after us get their food first. When our dishes finally came I was not happy, my waffles looked burnt, and there was only one egg instead of two. Honestly, at this point I just ate it. I didn't want to complain and wait. Drink menu is limited and the tea I had was alright. Still glad I got to check this place off my list. The entire staff is super welcoming and friendly but I will not be returning here for the food. Very cute and quaint space with limited indoor and outdoor seating.

To start, we got the trio of spreads, olives, French fries and baked cheese. The spreads were ok but the portion size was tiny and none of them were particularly memorable. The flatbread they were served with was excessively oily. The French fries were good but once you finish the top layer they became soggy and unseasoned. The olives were warm which is a fun twist but the texture was mushy and unpleasant. The baked cheese was delicious, however, it was comically small compared to the dish it was served in. For my main, I ordered the king salmon. It was a great portion size. However, it was overcooked, dry, and overpowered by a very bitter garlic flavor. My friend's steak (which she asked for medium) was also overcooked and tough, without a steak knife she was really struggling to eat this. My other friends ordered the swordfish, cauliflower, and halloumi salad - all were ok. The desserts really saved the day. The tahini brownie was incredible! The lemon cardamom bun was also tasty but a little dry. The ambience here is very nice and the bar is beautiful but the bathrooms are filthy. The service was fast but unfriendly. Overall, we were underwhelmed especially considering the prices.

Our server Rachel was lovely and gave us a rundown of their specials and the menu's top hits. Our drink selections ranged from as boring as a Diet Coke to as fun as a seasonal lemonade. We were all content with our choices, though we puttered around making suggestions from their large drink menu. I typically go for a savory breakfast, but the stuffed brioche French toast was speaking to me. I can never turn down banana! The rest of our table ordered avocado toast (x2) and fried eggs with bacon. Everyone was really happy with their choices and an added bonus was that our food came out quickly. I insisted everyone at our table try a bite of my massive stuffed brioche French toast and the consensus was that it was ridiculously good. Though this spot is tiny, it is not to be missed.

Luckily, we found street parking right next to the restaurant, which was a nice surprise. When we arrived, the wait for a table of three was about 45 minutes. That's somewhat expected for a popular brunch spot on a weekend. Once seated, the service was prompt. Our waiter stopped by quickly with waters and took good care of us throughout the meal. I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service.

Upon arrival, I learned that the Patchwork Restaurant & Bar is where the happy hour specials, dinner options, and in the morning, breakfast takes place. I enjoyed the food and service during my visit for breakfast before heading back to the airport the next day. The Patchwork Philly has a restaurant, a bar, and a market. The restaurant includes breakfast, brunch, dinner, bar-cocktail, happy hour, and dessert. The happy hour menu is only valid at the bar. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM. They serve omelettes (Denver, Egg White, and Patchwork omelets), sweets (yoghurt parfait, ricotta pancakes, and steelcut oatmeal), savory dishes (Italian-inspired breakfast plate, eggs benedio, croissant sandwich), drinks, sides, and the breakfast buffet with chef's daily selections including coffee and tea. The buffet was great! It included fruits (dried and fresh), breads, meats, eggs, and so much more. And even better, for those with Hyatt Globalist status, you get a free breakfast at Patchwork Philly! You can learn more about Patchwork Philly at https://patchworkphilly.com including menus, reservations, events & private dining, information about the chef, a photo gallery, and social media links. They are open for breakfast on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Brunch is on the weekends from 7 AM to 12 Noon. Dinner is Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM. The bar is open on Sunday through Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4 PM to 11 PM. Happy hour is weekdays from 4 PM to 6 PM and includes discounted dishes from parmesan fries, arancini, shrimp cocktail, and a burger and beer vibe combo. Bar snacks include olives, spiced nuts, popcorn duo, and onion dip. I'd assume there are happy hour drink specials, too. The quick service and tasty food made Patchwork Philly a great food option at the Hyatt Centric, and if I stay there again, I'll jump at eating again at Patchwork Philly!

It was super quiet during dinner time. Only a handful of people were getting a drink at the bar area. I don't think Patchwork is the type of restaurant where non-hotel guests would eat at. I ordered the steak frites and my friend ordered the roast chicken. Our orders took a long time to come (over half hour) which is wild given it was prime dinner time and there were no other dinner guests. When it came out, the dishes were large, but they tasted mediocre. My steak was overcooked and had tough tendon through half of it. My friend's chicken wasn't too dry, but neither of us liked the sauce which was a bit sour. We wouldn't eat here if it wasn't for the credit. Since we had extra credits remaining after the dinner, we spent the remainder on kind bars from their grab and go section. When we checked out, the folio showed an incorrect charge from the kind bars purchase. We even spoke with the Patchwork staff who pulled up our receipts and stuff. The receipts showed the correct amount, but the resulting charge to my folio was double of what we actually purchased. After spending half an hour trying to figure this out, the on-duty manager said that she'll tell the General Manager to process the refund for us, but I never received it. I got in contact with the GM but still pending updates. It's only a $13 problem, but I'm more concerned why their POS would double charge me on my folio versus what the signed purchase receipt says.

The shrimp are jumbo, not like the smaller cocktail shrimps. The amount of grits is also pretty deceptive. The skillet is a bit deep and they fill it up. The grits are also well seasoned and dont have that "gritty" texture that can happen when undercooked The shrimp tacos are a seasonal special and are much bigger than I thought they'd be. A lot of the serving sizes are pretty gracious and this wasnt an exception. My only critic is that it wouldve been nice to get the sweet chili sauce on the side so that i could control the amount per taco. The tortillas were well cooked so the sauce didn't soak through but it was dripping all over my hands and plate with each bite. The shrimp were the same as the grits ones and were well coated in panko for a nice crunch.
