Waited over 2 hours just to deliver our food. Food was soggy and not hot at all. Not worth the wait.

Ate their twice. Food was overpriced. Both their burgers and cheesesteaks sucked. Their soul food is unavailable both times I went.

The Kitchen Sink was a rich and delicious platter that sent our brunch cravings running for the hills. It has everything you need - eggs, potatoes, peppers, biscuit, and gravy. Top it off with Cholula and every bite is perfection! This was absolutely huge, we couldn't even finish it between two people. The red velvet pancakes, which we ordered in a kids size, were surprisingly not too sweet! They're more of a deep chocolate flavor than sugary, but the cream and strawberries on top contribute to the sweet side. There's also syrup you can drizzle on top. The kids size was giant as well, I can't imagine how large the regular order would be! Green Eggs has everything you could need for brunch and more, and I can't wait to come back again!

The eggs were poached but hard boiled in texture and chalky and gross. Everything seemed like it was taken straight from a bag of frozen food to heat up. Greasy, not flavorful, strictly disappointing. The server was nice enough. The specialty coffees sounded good, but were just overly sweetened, crappy coffee. I had the pecan cinnamon roll latte as a treat but was unpleasantly surprised the "cinnamon roll" garnish seemed like one of those packaged, sticky, ultra-processed school lunch type of treats. If 0 was an option, I would have picked it. I guess 1 star is okay because the server was nice.

To start, we got the trio of spreads, olives, French fries and baked cheese. The spreads were ok but the portion size was tiny and none of them were particularly memorable. The flatbread they were served with was excessively oily. The French fries were good but once you finish the top layer they became soggy and unseasoned. The olives were warm which is a fun twist but the texture was mushy and unpleasant. The baked cheese was delicious, however, it was comically small compared to the dish it was served in. For my main, I ordered the king salmon. It was a great portion size. However, it was overcooked, dry, and overpowered by a very bitter garlic flavor. My friend's steak (which she asked for medium) was also overcooked and tough, without a steak knife she was really struggling to eat this. My other friends ordered the swordfish, cauliflower, and halloumi salad - all were ok. The desserts really saved the day. The tahini brownie was incredible! The lemon cardamom bun was also tasty but a little dry. The ambience here is very nice and the bar is beautiful but the bathrooms are filthy. The service was fast but unfriendly. Overall, we were underwhelmed especially considering the prices.

Upon arrival, I learned that the Patchwork Restaurant & Bar is where the happy hour specials, dinner options, and in the morning, breakfast takes place. I enjoyed the food and service during my visit for breakfast before heading back to the airport the next day. The Patchwork Philly has a restaurant, a bar, and a market. The restaurant includes breakfast, brunch, dinner, bar-cocktail, happy hour, and dessert. The happy hour menu is only valid at the bar. Reservations can be made on OpenTable. Breakfast is served until 10:30 AM. They serve omelettes (Denver, Egg White, and Patchwork omelets), sweets (yoghurt parfait, ricotta pancakes, and steelcut oatmeal), savory dishes (Italian-inspired breakfast plate, eggs benedio, croissant sandwich), drinks, sides, and the breakfast buffet with chef's daily selections including coffee and tea. The buffet was great! It included fruits (dried and fresh), breads, meats, eggs, and so much more. And even better, for those with Hyatt Globalist status, you get a free breakfast at Patchwork Philly! You can learn more about Patchwork Philly at https://patchworkphilly.com including menus, reservations, events & private dining, information about the chef, a photo gallery, and social media links. They are open for breakfast on weekdays from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Brunch is on the weekends from 7 AM to 12 Noon. Dinner is Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 5 PM to 10 PM. The bar is open on Sunday through Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4 PM to 11 PM. Happy hour is weekdays from 4 PM to 6 PM and includes discounted dishes from parmesan fries, arancini, shrimp cocktail, and a burger and beer vibe combo. Bar snacks include olives, spiced nuts, popcorn duo, and onion dip. I'd assume there are happy hour drink specials, too. The quick service and tasty food made Patchwork Philly a great food option at the Hyatt Centric, and if I stay there again, I'll jump at eating again at Patchwork Philly!

We received our food quickly. I ordered the braised short rib benedict with the chips ahoy/cookie monster latte. The ribs were tender and well-seasoned, the eggs perfectly runny, and the potatoes were cooked well. The latte had bits of chips ahoy in it, was tasty and surprisingly not too sweet. The food itself was okay, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the area because holy cow the nickel and diming. It's an all-cash restaurant and they do have a big sign saying so on the front of their door. If you don't have cash, there's an ATM at the front that charges a $7 fee. Not 7%. Seven dollars. The next thing you're hit with is that all checks over $50 are automatically charged an 18% service charge. Everything on the menu was an average of $22 and of course, they don't allow split checks. Which means if you're going to breakfast with a friend you're going to hit that $50 pretty immediately. Add to that, the sides that come with your entree are all at a $1-$1.50 up charge with the exception of the breakfast potatoes, which were overcooked and dried out.
