Always my go to brunch spot. This is a cash-only restaurant but they do have an ATM inside. It can also be pretty crowded on weekends so you may have to wait a bit depending on your party amount. The shrimp and grits is a solid. The shrimp are jumbo, not like the smaller cocktail shrimps. The amount of grits is also pretty deceptive. The skillet is a bit deep and they fill it up. The grits are also well seasoned and dont have that "gritty" texture that can happen when undercooked The shrimp tacos are a seasonal special and are much bigger than I thought they'd be. A lot of the serving sizes are pretty gracious and this wasnt an exception. My only critic is that it wouldve been nice to get the sweet chili sauce on the side so that i could control the amount per taco. The tortillas were well cooked so the sauce didn't soak through but it was dripping all over my hands and plate with each bite. There's an ATM but I just never ever have cash on me. The food is so so good. A nice selection of sweet treats like cinnamon roll bagels to then savory options like eggs benedict and skillets. Their coffee drinks are so weird in the best way like chip ahoy lattes and things of that nature. Their boozy drinks are also just as good and reasonably priced! We were looking for a sit down breakfast spot close to our hotel that we could eat at before heading to the airport. Green Eggs was all we could find in the area. The food itself was okay, but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone in the area because holy cow the nickel and diming. It's an all-cash restaurant and they do have a big sign saying so on the front of their door. If you don't have cash, there's an ATM at the front that charges a $7 fee. Not 7%. Seven dollars. The next thing you're hit with is that all checks over $50 are automatically charged an 18% service charge. Everything on the menu was an average of $22 and of course, they don't allow split checks. Which means if you're going to breakfast with a friend you're going to hit that $50 pretty immediately. Add to that, the sides that come with your entree are all at a $1-$1.50 up charge with the exception of the breakfast potatoes, which were overcooked and dried out. read more

First of all the reviews for this place are unmatched. Plus, our hotel listed them as number one on the breakfast list. Not sure if it was based on popularity or distance but both won the day. It was literally right down the street within walking distance from our hotel. I definitely read the cash only tip from prior Yelpers and noticed they did not take reservations so was a little concerned about a long wait time. Thankfully, the wait was not an issue. They had an ATM on site and there was no wait when we arrived around 12:30. It was also obvious that people raved about the red velvet pancakes. Those things looked huge, so I knew if I even considered ordering them it would have to be a small size. Thankfully, that was also accomplished. When I shared my concerns about portion control with our waitress said she could give me the kids size. This was perfect! The restaurant was buzzing was people. Super loud. A friend and I went around 11:15 on a Sunday morning and we were able to get a table in about 15 minutes (shorter than the wait time we were quoted). We decided to share two meals in order to get sweet and savory. The Apple Pie French Toast was to die for and it was so huge. I don't think I could eat that without something savory to go alongside it. Our savory meal was the Ultimate Tofu Scramble with a side of mac and cheese. An 18 percent surcharge is added to all checks over $50 dollars and you have no idea if charge is a tip or just another upcharge. Egg prices have been down for months but there is an upcharge per egg for that. Which with all the upcharges it tends to be rather pricey for what you get.
