We moved here last year and were nervous about finding a new groomer for our two small dogs. They are our babies, and we are very particular about who grooms them. Judy's made us feel at ease right away. Our groomer knew how to match the cut our old groomer did, and was very knowledgeable about ear and skin condition. I moved here recently an needed to take my Pomeranian to be groomed. I took her to Judy's and was very specific that I did not want her shaved. She had a beautiful long full coat and I just wanted her trimmed to a medium length and even all around. I explained that I like the long hair I just need it trimmed so it is easier to maintain. When I picked her up I was shocked... They had shaved her which was exactly what I said I didn't want. I could have shaved her at home but I didn't want her shaved which is why I took her to a professional. After I got her in the car I started looking closely and the cuts are choppy and uneven, she looks like she was cut by some 4 year olds. I should never have trusted a groomer who didn't even want to see my proof of vaccinations. My dog looks so terrible even she is ashamed and it will be months before I can take her in public. I don't know if the groomer was high or blind or what but I really think my neighbors toddler could have done better. read more

Although she was a nice lady, I am really unsatisfied with Judy's work. I never write reviews, good or bad, but my dogs are my children, and I feel that others need to know what is out there. My small dog was $25, and my large dog was $35, for a total of $60. This included a flea bath (which they desperately needed), nail clipping, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression. seems like a fair deal, right? Wrong. When I come back for my dogs about an hour and a half later, I asked her out it went. Keep in mind my large dog, Apollo, has been to the groomers (different groomer) twice, and my small dog, Ivy, once. I have never had a problem with those groomers saying that my dogs wouldn't "allow" them to do something. I was told Apollo would not let her express his anal glands, while Ivy had nothing to express. OK, fine. When I got to my car to check them out, I saw a total of 5 of Ivy's nails cut to the quick, so she was bleeding.I was extremely upset. I couldn't even see what she did with Apollo's because his are completely black. I also checked both of their ears, and neither one had them cleaned out. I gave this woman a $10 tip (before realizing), on top of the $60 payment, for a total of $70, just for her to hurt my dog's claws, and give them a flea bath. She might say she is cheap, but it is absolutely not cheap for the work she does (or doesn't do). I will not be taking my dogs back to her, and I suggest you don't either. If you're looking for a good nail clipper for cheap, the woman at The Animal House does AWESOME work. she gets it as close to the quick as possible without clipping them, and if you ask her to grind down the nails, she does this as well for a total of $5. My vet also told me not to go to Judy's, but to go to Luxury Pet Services. She swears by this business, and I very much trust my vet. If you want good quality care for your dog without having to worry about what is happening to them, do not go to Judy's. read more

I love Judy, but most importantly (as all pet parents know) so do my dogs! My family has been using her service for almost 20 years. We've tried other groomers a few times, but always come back! My mom moved out of state a few years ago, but still brings her Airdale back to Judy for grooming. We have never had any issues with nail trims or nicks or cuts, and my dogs literally run to her door! I have a senior dog (18 y/o alaskan malamute) that she is so gentle with! She even calls to check on them from time to time. read more
